We're going through these fast! Thought seen as we were filling up the last thread fast I'd attempt a new thread, not sure how to copy our due date list over though... Could someone else do that?

I too had my booking in appointment, just taking info wee and bloods. It was like getting blood out of a stone though and took 4 goes. As I hadn't managed to keep any food this morning I almost fainted afterwards! She has put the wind up me though and mentioned the possibility of twins! There are twins in my mums family though, I guess I will find out in 2 weeks!

lilystem welcome to the thread. Yes if you had an emcs you should be referred to a consultant at around 20 weeks - definitely the case with everyone I know who has had one. If you're not confident in your midwife see your gp and request this referral. The consultant should be able to discuss your notes from last time and any concerns you have. They also want to make sure your scar is managed well in case of any issues there. You don't have to make any concrete decisions that early but they can talk you through the options and it should be an ongoing dialogue. These days they must take into account your wishes and mental health, so much better than the old days when you were just told what to do! I would probably not have ttc again if the option to have an elcs wasn't open to me so I found all this out from my gp before we ttc.

Is anyone here being allowed vba2c? My midwife has said my hospital don't allow it

I knew it - dr google told me it could start from thw end of the first trimester so I figured thats pretty much where I am. Im 8+6...

Sorry to hear of officelady & tiny's news.

I am 8 wks tomorrow & most of my symptoms disappeared today (apart from stupid cold that I'm still struggling to shift)... I have some cheapy tests kicking about...think i might POAS tomorrow morning. I've normally had a private scan by this point so normally I'm reassured...but like everyone else...the wait til the 12 wk scan seems very long..

I had a mini meltdown with DH last night-basically feeling as if I'm expected to do all the chores/cooking/food shopping/kid's cooking...worried about how we'll manage when I'm back at work (I do the nursery runs) & then on mat leave with a 3rd one in tow. Thankfully he was home at a reasonable time tonight & he cooked dinner...

Yes blueberry hope scan went well? You're earlier message suggested all was fine but just a date change, but the date change on the list didn't appear?

If people don't mind I won't add myself to the list until after a hopefully successful 12 week scan.. still so paranoid. I've decided to pay for a private scan next week when I will be 9 weeks.. Cheapest I can find is £60.. Very jealous of those who have mentioned scans for £20?

Nausea has been much better the last few days, though I have cut out tea and coffee which has really helped.. I just need to try to up my intake of water and squash though to keep hydrated.. as I don't tend to drink so much of those.

Scan didn't go to well wasn't go to say... Sorry ladies to put a damper on the new thread :( I had copied and pasted someone else's post didn't realise writing at top...
Been told to stay positive but scan showed a possible mmc... Rescanning next week as all that was present was a yolk sac... So dates may just be a couple of weeks out but doesn't seem likely with my ovulation tests etc...
