Quick hello to all you lovely ladies.

Just marking my place xx

bushprincess · 17/02/2014 16:10

impatiently unfortunately they really bunged me up Blush but I'm with Isean the Lactulose helped enormously! Have also heard good things about the spatone so if you're struggling it may be a good investment!

Hope your levels pick up quickly so you get your MLU option!

Bornin1984 · 17/02/2014 16:21

If I have one more person touch my bump I'll cry!!

mumof2aimingfor3 · 17/02/2014 16:25

bornin thats why I have tops that say dont touch the bump!

Bornin1984 · 17/02/2014 16:26

It doesn't help the fact I'm very obese to stsrt with and I don't feel like I have a bump anyway

mumof2aimingfor3 · 17/02/2014 16:28

I had a go at one of the dads I talk to at school the other day. He touched my bump and I went off on one, said to him you wouldn't touch my belly if I wasnt pregnant so why the fuck do you think you can touch it just becausei have a baby is in there.

dobedobedo · 17/02/2014 16:46

A guy in work keeps touching my bump. So I touched his belly (almost bigger than my bump Hmm) back. His face was a picture. Twat.

PotatoPolly · 17/02/2014 17:37

Hi everyone, marking my place!

Thanks for the new thread clearly

I'll be back later for a proper catch up!

sambababy · 17/02/2014 18:06

Has anyone replied yet to a stranger nosing about the baby with a "what baby??" Hahahaha it might be cruel but I think I just have to do it once. It's a pregnant woman's right to have fun surely.

Isean · 17/02/2014 18:06

It seems that after a few weeks reprieve the sickness is definitely back

MoominIsGoingToBeAMumEEEEK · 17/02/2014 18:24

A load of my classmates today were feeling the bump. Thankfully they all asked, and I was showing them where the feet were and they were feeling the feet Grin

Stupid coursemate (the one who told me he reckoned my baby was a hermaphrodite) was rolling his eyes, shouting "Oh it's probably a demon or a parasite" but I was surprisingly quick today and said "I know it's probably beyond your comprehension, but even basic biology would tell you it's a baby".

Housemate from hell was let down by her friend apparently and had to do all the baking herself tonight. She's been in there for three hours using all the ovens and taking over the whole table, showing no sign of finishing any time soon and singing (badly) at the top of her voice, glaring at anyone who goes in until they leave.

Something isn't going to survive tonight. Her behaviour in the next few hours decides whether that thing is her cakes or herself Grin

Marking my place. Thanks for the new thread, clearly :)

ClearlyMoo · 17/02/2014 19:27

Eeek! Just had the strongest kick I've ever felt. It hurt! Do kicks hurt? I actually felt the limb as I had my hand on my side!

randdom · 17/02/2014 19:47

Does anyone else notice that their bump changes size on a daily basis. I am sure that mine is smaller today than it was before the weekend. Baby is still moving well so I am not worried from that point of view and I saw my midwife last week and was measuring what I was meant to be...

mummytobe88 · 17/02/2014 19:50

clearly I had one of those kicks today too!

Was sitting at work and boom a great big kick out of the side of my stomach so put my hand there and boom there it goes again!

Feels very strange but loving it Smile

MasterFlea · 17/02/2014 20:08

I had the first "you're massive" commment over the weekend. MIL asked if I was sure it wasn't twins. Since she's lovely, I let her live.

I've been getting kicks in the bladder tonight so hoping it moves to another place soon. Sometimes it can hurt if the baby is in a strange position. And now some kicks make me gasp out loud which is a tad embarrassing.

I got belly bands this week. Trying the Anita one and a carriwell one. The physio maternity belts make the PGP worse for me but the bands over the whole bump seem to be helping me. Only 2 days of testing so it also could be that I am having a good day.

Completely exhuasted again. Nearly like the first trimester. Anyone else feeling that bone weariness?

NannyPlumForPM · 17/02/2014 20:38

Definitely masterflea especially in the mornings! Mmm just sent dp out for carrot cake . Have to eat my curry first. :(

Xavielli · 17/02/2014 20:41

Marking place. Making wedding cake. Trying not to commit murder.

SarahJinx · 17/02/2014 21:06

Evening ladies, well I've had an interesting day!

28 week midwife app today, bloods all fine, gtt borderline and combined with a sky high glucose reading in my sample today, being tested again in two weeks. Got a referral to an obstetric physio for the horrid pop/spd too, so all okish. Until we discussed the huge level of discharge I've been getting for six weeks, wet watery having to wear a pad, no odour to cut a long story short. Got sent though to day assessment at bloody five pm to check my waters hadn't gone. Alls wells basically, lots of internal pokings and a test which reads neg or pos for amniotic fluids later and swabs, but a negative test, a nicely closed cervix and a seemingly v happy bean meant I got sent home a couple of hours later. But, abso no glucose in my second urine sample Hmm which is good I guess.

So, that's been my evening. Grateful that all is fine, and obvs better to be safe than sorry and all.

Moomin, you want lactulose with those babies, black hard poo like lumps of coal in my experience!

Master flea, I have a carriwell, it's been brill but I feel like I need something a little more supportive now everything is getting so big, so quickly.

I truly can't get over random dads bump touching...!

LongTailedTit · 17/02/2014 21:22

Impatiently I found some 'not from concentrate' pricey prune juice at Waitrose as I've been having constipation trouble even without blimmin iron tablets! It has truly worked wonders. Phew.

SarahJinx I was wondering if it was TMI to mention discharge! I've been having vast quantities, really odd and a bit pongy, but Doc swabbed and tests came back clear so I guess I just have to put up with it. Yuck. Tbh I'm having to wear pant liners for my feeble pelvic floor at the mo anyway, but still...

Re the kicking - I actually got kicked in the spine a couple of days ago! That freaked me right out! Had a kind of shockwave in my back from it, and he did it a few times the next day too. DS never did that so I wasn't expecting it, but once met someone that told me her DC4 had kicked her so hard he'd dislodged one of her vertebrae! Shock

Xavi Why're you feeling murderous?

SarahJinx · 17/02/2014 21:38

It appears to be part and parcel. I never had this with DS1 but mw and duty doc today said its natures way of keeping nasties away from your baby. Mine is like water, for a while I thought I was wetting myself (can't feel it coming out, just was getting wet Knicks and a slight pong...!) as I too appear to have a rubbish pelvic floor, it isn't discharge as we ladies usually know it anyhoo. It isn't 'waters' either though, so that's the main thing. I have to call on Friday for swab results. Bloody speculum hurt like a mofo though, I've got to give birth yet and I could barely cope with that poking around my cervix. Grand.

mrsmummytobe · 17/02/2014 22:02

I've been getting loads more discharge than normal too!!! This is soo tmi but in fact the other day at work I was chatting to a colleague & could actually feel it coming out (sorry gross I know). Had to run to the loo to check all was ok!

MrsFooCough · 17/02/2014 22:35

Ooh discharge, my favourite topic haha! That sounds really wrong. Sorry...Hmm
But srsly though, I am with everyone on the copious discharge front. Pants are way stinky by evening after shower/bath in the morning. As it comes out it's v gloopy, like I've done a soggy sneeze...in my flaps...but it's not smelly at "point-of-origin". WEIRD.
Also, boobs are leaking now Grin I was wondering when it would happen to me!! Noticed it as small white crusts on nips occasionally, I got bored one day and picked off the crustiness and gave one nip a squeeze..clear blobs of Boob Juice! I'm so proud. Poor DH has a massive thing for my nipples though, he sadly decreed that "they're now off-limits until Little One stops feeding Sad" bless him!
I was worried that our sex life would now suffer, but he basically tried to ravish me as I cooked the dinner tonight so I think we'll be ok Wink
