Sorry you're in hospital isean but so glad you're getting help now. Was bit worried for you after rubbish experience on Friday & still terrible itching today. Great you'll be closely monitored, right result in the end.

foo sorry you've had a rubbishy weekend. Sometimes best to let go because regardless he'll have had a good weekend but it will still be eating you up if you're still angry. Maybe suggest since you were stuck in this weekend you get to do what you want next weekend? If it was me, making my DH watch back to back period dramas while I swoon and demand he talks to me like Mr Darcy while fanning me & bringing regular snacks would be appropriate punishment recompense ;)

Bornin1984 · 23/02/2014 22:14

Started having back pains as from yesterday! But I think my work load doesn't help nor the fact my huge bmi and extra baby weight!!! :-( still not having regular movements, is this normal? I'm gonna go see midwife tomorrow before work and see what they say!

Thanks For them struggling

Isean · 23/02/2014 22:39

Thank you all for your kind words Thanks

I am now at home and tucked up in bed, feeling a bit better.
The bloods I had taken today showed another rise in the ALT levels and I was started on Urso tablets 3 times a day for obstetric cholestasis. I had blood taken for bile salt level checks & to check for other liver conditions just in case. I've to get a liver and gall bladder scan in the next fortnight.
I'm to attend the day case unit twice a week for the rest of the pregnancy.
I was on a drip for 6 hours to get my hydration levels up, was given an anti-sickness tablet and managed to keep down some food.
The midwife said I am not allowed to work until they see me again on Thursday.

Vikks · 23/02/2014 22:53

Glad you're home Isean Thanks x

Vikks · 23/02/2014 22:54

November thread has been started! ShockShockShock

impatientlywaiting · 23/02/2014 23:04

Ah Isean it sounds like you have really been through it this weekend. So sorry you are feeling so poorly, but like others have said I'm glad that you're being well monitored now.

Wow, can't believe there is a November thread already. Time is flying over.

mrsmummytobe · 23/02/2014 23:23

Aww isean sorry to hear you've been unwell. I hope you're being well looked after now.

Moomin hope the prune juice helps.

Mrsfoo that would totally piss me off too so I hope he makes it up to you when he gets home!

Ugh back to school tomorrow. 1 week off & now going back to work feels like a real mission. However only 6 more weeks of work to go until my mat leave starts woohoo, I can do it!
My little any girl has been bouncing & star jumping around like crazy recently but not felt any BH. She is definitely getting a lot bigger & stronger though, can't wait to meet her!

kally195 · 24/02/2014 00:00

Hope isean and moomin are feeling better, and sorry to hear that OH has upset you mrsfoo.

I'm currently sat at Eurotunnel waiting for our train home, after a mental shift. I WANT MY BED!!

For once the duty free was open, so I may have managed to pick up a bottle of my fave French champagne for head wetting, as well as a case of lovely pink fizz for the summer....

How is everyone getting on with baby prep?

PotatoPolly · 24/02/2014 03:42

awake in the middle of the night with bloody back and bump ache Sad don't know what to do about work tomorrow. sitting at my desk all day will make it worse but I'm on holiday thurs and fri so that's a bonus! Just feel really guilty not going in but then I've only had 2 days off sick since being pg so not like I'll be taking the mickey. wanna try to get in to see the doc i think. oh May mums wwyd?

bushprincess · 24/02/2014 05:34

sorry polly if its bad enough to want to see the Dr then its bad enough to stay away from work, let them know you're trying to get a last minute appointment and see what they suggest.... hope you managed to get some sleep in the end Thanks

bushprincess · 24/02/2014 05:35

sorry, they being the Drs that is!

MasterFlea · 24/02/2014 06:09

Bush just to answer your query on venturing outside of this topic into the other realms of MN. I like to wander into Chat. There are some very funny threads. The only section I actively avoid is AIBU as I get rather scared. I find MN posters to be mainly lovely. There are the odd few who aren,t or some that are just having a bad day and will apologise later for saying something mean. I hate confrontation but find it easy enough to avoid those threads.

Check up tomorrow and doc is doing a scan to see if baby isn't growing too big. Referral for GTT will be dependant on this scan. Eeek.

bushprincess · 24/02/2014 06:45

hey flea I think my mistake was venturing into AIBU...wow! and yes, it was definately the minority who were not very nice, it's a shame as it colors the entire thread... but you're right, the majority of people are lovely of course!

Good luck for your scan - hope baby is the right size and you don't have to get referred...

Xavielli · 24/02/2014 07:27

Meh! School run again today. I bloody hate it! On the upside after a week of every

Xavielli · 24/02/2014 07:31

Sigh....

Everyone at home I'm looking forward to a deep clean of the house and being as though it's just me and DD2 we might go out for breakfast.

Took 2x piriton yesterday (at intervals, rather than just at bedtime) and actually managed to sleep all night without scratching myself raw! Hoorah!

randdom · 24/02/2014 08:28

I have the day off today but still some how managed to wake up early. The plan for today is to try and sort out our tip of a bedroom. However it seems so daunting all I want to do is hide my head under a pillow Hmm

kally195 · 24/02/2014 12:09

randdom that's how I feel about our whole house - boxes everywhere and all covered in a layer of decorating dust.... I cope by tackling it in small bits, usually with a daft film on to distract me.

I am sat in the hospital, waiting for my number to come up for my 28 week bloods to be drawn. I am therefore very bored. If anyone else is very bored, there is a frankly hysterical thread on AIBU about a PFB 1st birthday party. If I show any signs of turning into the mother in that thread, will you lot please give me a virtual slap?!

PotatoPolly · 24/02/2014 12:30

ah kally I can't find it! going to keep looking!

feeling sorry for myself- bush I took myself off to the doctor and she's signed me off for 2 weeks... Don't think work are too happy with me though Sad

kally195 · 24/02/2014 12:42

I going to scream. I am surrounded by a group of money people having a go at the nurses and doctors here. Things like "I got there and he asked me what I thought was wrong - he's meant to tell me that!" No, you fuckwit, he needs to know what you think is wrong so he can diagnose you. And if you communicated as badly as you are right now, then no wonder they didn't work it out immediately. The "ooh bet he was a foreigner" comments are making me want to punch them.

My mum is a nurse, and I know just how tough it is to work for the NHS at the moment. And those foreigners are what is keeping our healthcare going.

Pregnancy rage, tiredness and the desire to defend my mum from the Daily Fail brigade are not a good combination. Hope they call my number soon.

kally195 · 24/02/2014 12:43

Er -moany people. Not money!

NannyPlumForPM · 24/02/2014 12:46

Fell down the last step on stairs :( onto knee and foot rather than bump so hopefully all is fine! Sore though :(

Centre of gravity must be well off :/

randdom · 24/02/2014 13:12

kally don't get me started on how annoyed some of the moaning about this sort of things gets me. I know that there are some bad doctors/nurse/midwives out there. I work in the NHS and generally most people are genuinely trying their hardest in a really difficult system and doing the best that they can :(

This is very much too much information and I apologise in advance for this. My breast (well currently the right one only has started leaking. Is this now going to go on for the rest of the pregnancy? :(

Bornin1984 · 24/02/2014 14:33

Currently waiting to go on the monitor for reduced movements !!

kally195 · 24/02/2014 14:36

I hope everything is OK bornin xx
