ksrwr · 22/01/2014 16:23

me too, every time i go to the loo i'm terrified of any spotting...
chicken i'm so sorry about your news, i really hope you're ok

Mummyinpink1289 · 22/01/2014 16:52

so glad i get to talk to other people in the same boat on here! - if i mention anything to DH he just worries and assumes the worst so i tend to not tell him about any worries i have so he doesnt panic for no reason. you can so tell im a mum already! ha.

so its just dawned on me that im probably gonna have to get a new bloody caras i wont be able to fit 3 car seats in the back of my astra once baby arrives :-( like i have money to upgrade my car in the next 8 months. wedding totally skinted me out last year and i have 3 credit cards to pay off as it is. eek. Anyone else going up to 3 car seats?
Well ill have one baby seat, one middle stage seat with a back on it and one booster seat without a back. Looking at the Honda FRV anyone know about this car?

Fairypants · 22/01/2014 17:12

I'm sorry about your news chicken. I hope you get a sticky one soon.

I'm also on constant knicker watch although I'm feeling a lot better on that score since the ms kicked in yesterday. So far only nausea but today was much worse than yesterday so I'm dreading tomorrow. The tiredness has also kicked in over the last week and of course, they met in the middle with a slight overlap. Confused
Stopped on the way home and bought: ginger biscuits, pukka ginger tea, breakfast biscuits (for eating before I get out of bed), cereal bars (guess the flavourWink) and milk for the acid reflux after dinner.

Pregnantberry · 22/01/2014 17:15

Shock Sebs I'm glad that's not just me! I get that several times a day.

Can't wait to get safely past 12 weeks... Half way there...

Fairypants · 22/01/2014 17:18

Mummy- can one of them go in the front at all? We're also going up to 3 and have been discussing changing my -fashion statement- -fiat 500- tiny car for a bigger one but current plan is we go in dh's big car when all together so I only need to fit the kids in mine. We'll only have one car seat though so much easier to juggle.

cavamonster · 22/01/2014 17:29

Look forward to your update Waffles as I am running out of ideas here on how to stem the nausea!

Hubby and I are going out for a meal tonight, cuisine my choice & all i fancy is a big bowl of boiled potato'sGrin seems a bit of a waste...

Aside from my food issues, I also wondered if anyone has any tips on no alcohol wines? We have friends coming to stay this weekend and I'm going to have to tell them but I like the idea of at least looking like I'm joining in with them at dinner??

Laura2611 · 22/01/2014 18:40

Hi everyone sorry to hear the sad news some of you have had. finding it hard to keep up! Sickness has me totally wiped out at the min! It just never goes away the anti sickness tablets just make me drowsy so I've been trying not to take them.
Mummy - we're gonna have to go to 3 car seats too! Have no idea how we will afford it either as our wedding last year wiped us out too! Saying that I can't even imagine being able to leave the house with 3 lol!
Fairypants- which car seats can go in the front seat?

WishUponAStar88 · 22/01/2014 18:45

I'm

rockin20s · 22/01/2014 18:45

no more spotting since the small amount at lunch time so treating myself to an indain take away, feeling much better now!

WishUponAStar88 · 22/01/2014 18:51

Daft phone! I'm very early days (4+1) due 30th September. Very nervous, 1st pregnancy. I also dread seeing blood every time I go to the loo - it's like constantly being on edge! I haven't tested since my bfp but scared of having a chemical pregnancy and not knowing. Does anyone else recheck every now and then? Might start loss weekly or something like that but I don't know whether that will make nerves worse! No symptoms yet, part of me wants the morning sickness just to 'feel' pregnant if that makes any sense (I'm sure I'll soon regret this once the sickness arrives!)

Cindy5389 · 22/01/2014 18:57

Sorry to hear ur news chicken.. Sickness has definitely got worse over the last few days.. Feel so horrible all the time. i'm 6weeks tomorrow! Hopefully not too many weeks of sickness left.. Still no moving date :( trying not to get too stressed over it, but its hard not to..

WishUponAStar88 · 22/01/2014 18:57

Poas not loss!

sebsmummy1 · 22/01/2014 19:02

Wish upon a star I'm very early too, EDD 26th September. You might find your symptoms don't kick in till later. I got a few weeks of mild nausea around 8 weeks pregnant with my first . So don't anticipate feeling terrible as you might feel fine xx

LH1981 · 22/01/2014 19:14

fairy milk is acidic and one of the worst things you can drink for acid reflux. Avoid avoid avoid!!!

topmammy · 22/01/2014 19:18

Very sorry about your news chicken Thanks Hope you are feeling better soon.

Waffles, I want raspberry ripple ice cream now too! I've been having rich tea biscuits as well, deffo liking those.

I feel like I'm on a constant hamster wheel at the moment, get up in the dark, work non stop all day, leave work in the dark, eat, vegetate on the sofa for a bit, sleep (not enough) then it starts again. Then planning (teacher) and catching up on housework at the weekend. Sorry for being so depressing Blush I am Mrs.Grumpy at the mo and just want to sleep for a week!

LH1981 · 22/01/2014 19:55

Have just ordered curry. I am an eating machine!

BexBoo12 · 22/01/2014 20:19

Wish upon a star I'm 7+3 and I still poas regularly!!

surromummy · 22/01/2014 20:44

chicken sorry to hear that, thinking of you xx

kitkat great news, hope you start to feel a little less anxious now xx

rockin fingers crossed its nothing to worry about xx

cavamonster and others sufferring from ms it may be worth trying a vitamin D supplement, Ive been taking a supplement since my +hpt (had awful sickness, but not HG, in last 3 pregnancies) I havent had any sickness yet but who knows whther its down to that! for those who like ginger, apparently 250mg four times a day of dried ginger may help, ginger biscuits dont cut it; youd need about a kilo of them to make a difference!!Shock The other thing to try is seabands, they are dead cheap and work by putting a constant pressure on your inner wrist, Ive got but again havent had to use yet!

Glad to hear eveyone elses dcs are acting up, my dd(3) has not wanted to go to nursery since i found out! usually no problem, but has literally been screaming, crying and clinging to me!! bless her, so glad shes not going to school this septemberSmile

Well the tiredness has hit me like a brick wall today despite having a gd night last night, by 1pm I was needing to be scraped off the floor! as dd at nursery I set my alarm and had a kip for 1.5hrs Grin god it felt good! hoping the nausea/sickness doesnt come now! finally went and bought a new bra today, £27 quid and it looks like something your nan would wear!!Sad If anyone finds some good quality, supportive bras in large cup sizes with wide bands and wide straps, please let me know where!!!

surromummy · 22/01/2014 20:54

whoops I forgot vit b6 also for ms! I also take that as my diet is quite high in protein and protein is known to deplete vitamin B6.

Lottystar · 22/01/2014 21:29

Hi ladies, can I join you? I found out I was pregnant with bubba #3 a week or so ago. Very excited but ultra nervous as I had a mc at 7 weeks in late Oct. My EDD is around 18th Sept so 6 weeks tomorrow. I'm so frightened and knicker checking every five mins, not helped by the increase in discharge (sorry if tmi!) I haven't booked in with a mw but I have notified my GP. I will book an early reassurance scan in two weeks. Just want to see that flickery heartbeat so so badly!! Symptoms are mainly constipation, fatigue and a bit of nausea. I keep poas every morning to see a strong line, probably a bit over zealous but I can't help it.

Nice to see a familiar name too Sebsmummy! Smile

waybuloony · 22/01/2014 21:38

Sorry folks, I went a bit AWOL for a few days. Have just caught up on all the news.
chicken so sorry things haven't worked out. Thinking of you. X

Have been feeling SOooo rubbish lately. I had no ms with previous two pregnancies and v few symptoms in general. This time round I keep having really strong waves of nausea but no actual sickness. I can't bear to think about food, am avoiding the kitchen, never know what I want to eat...yet it's the only thing that stops the sicky weirdness.

Have hardly set foot outside the house since Mon as just generally feel so dreadful and I can feel a black cloud descending making me question whether I can even cope with another baby. Is it just cos it's January, cold and rainy, has anyone else been feeling really down? Been avoiding mums on the school run, I look awful, feel dreadful and can't even tell anyone why...sorry been having a shit time of it and feeling sorry for myself Sad

BexBoo12 · 22/01/2014 21:44

Oh my lord...I NEED some astro belts...anyone remember them???

BexBoo12 · 22/01/2014 21:46

Aww way, I felt like that at the weekend - albeit a bit different as this is baby number 1 for us. I'm putting it downto weather, hormones and post Christmas depression. Hugs xxxxx

waybuloony · 22/01/2014 21:56

Thanks Bex, you're right it's all those things. Might go have a bubbly bath and an early night and try to pull myself together.

DH is away in Paris tonight with work and I found out last time he was there he went to a strip club and stayed out all night! Not helping my general morale right now...

tiredallthetime123 · 22/01/2014 21:56

Big love Way. I know it's awful but please believe me, it's just your hormones!! I went to see doc today as I feel so numb and empty and doc said exactly that to me. Don't feel blue about feeling blue xxxx
