Way, men are sent to try us aren't they? Try to put it out your mind for now, worrying is not good for you or bubba, and you can't do Nything about it yet. Wait til he gets home and reveals all then if it's warranted (which I'm sure it won't be and he will have been in bed by 9Wink) let him have it both barrels, hormones and all!!! Chin-up chick xx

waybuloony · 22/01/2014 22:15

Wise words Bex. You're going to be such a great mum! X
Thanks tired, hope you're feeling better after today's appt. These bloody hormones!!

rockin20s · 22/01/2014 22:16

Constipation is a bitch!!!

OP posts:
BexBoo12 · 22/01/2014 22:18

Aww thanks way, and I know you already are, and will equally be when this little bubba comes along. These hormones are a bitch aren't they Blush sending love to you honey xxx

cookielove · 22/01/2014 22:37

Hey I was just wondering how hot a bath do you lot have, I don't want to hurt the baby but love a hot bath especially now I've pulled something in my shoulder! ?

xxmissbrightsidexx · 22/01/2014 22:40

I've peed on my 4th and final stick and the lines were really strong. Been
Getting really bad pains in my left side recently so that's worrying me even more.
Thank god I see the mw on Friday, need some reassurance desperately.

Hope everyones okay xx

xxmissbrightsidexx · 22/01/2014 22:41

cookie you're not supposed to have it tooo hot, I'm gutted cos I love hot baths too xx

cookielove · 22/01/2014 22:46

I'm wondering what to hot is cause I can withstand a lot of heat. Confused

duzzlightyearsmum · 23/01/2014 06:33

So up at twenty past five once again :( combination of an early waking 2 year old and then once I'm awake I instantly want to be sick! So half five and me and DS are sat on the sofa drinking hot juice and stuffing crackers in to our face :( xxx

whiteblossom · 23/01/2014 07:58

WAY I totally understand how you feel. Ive not left the house in two weeks now, ive had to order everything online, shopping, mascara, clothes, dog food. I just cant leave the house, if I have to its to do school run and I look soooo bad, my hair desperately needs cutting and colouring (cant face sitting in hairdressers for hours) my eyebrows need doing im spotty and I walk along breathing in through my nose and blowing out my mouth.

Im normally very well put together, always with make up, well dressed, now I don't give a toss! I stick a wolly hat on and a big winter coat get my head down and avoid people!

Ive had a few texts saying 'not seen you, you ok?' 'meet for coffee?' I just don't know what to say. to think ive got at least 4.5 weeks of this argghhhh

My lovely dh is doing loads to help me out but I cant help but feel that that's going to run thin very soon, hell even Im sick of me.

whiteblossom · 23/01/2014 08:01

sorry for the moan. bigger picture, I keep telling myself. right I do have to do the school run so I need a shower....urghhh

sittingpretty25 · 23/01/2014 09:09

I'm in the same boat - constant nausea - thankfully not barfed yet (which is more down to my stubbornness than urge), i avoid the kitchen and the fridge - have some chicken in there and it needs using up but I can't even think about it Nevermind cook it. All I want it apples and grapes and water - even crackers make my tummy turn. Oh and fishermens friend - think they are a Yorkshire thing, very strong menthol sweets - I got my mum to post me some down as I couldn't find any down in Cornwall!! Lol.

Firstimemum3 · 23/01/2014 09:12

chicken thinking of you and hope you have lots of support.

kitkat that's great news :)

Had evening with OH at my mum n dad's last night and they spoilt me rotten, didn't let me do anything. My mum is sooooooooo excited as well, it'll be her first grandchild. Hope everyone has a good day.

rockin20s · 23/01/2014 09:24

morning all, had trouble buttoning my pants this morning (6 weeks today) it cant be baby so it must be the constipation, will have to give in and go to the pharmacy and get something, the liters of water just aren't working!

speaking of water, i keep waking between 2-4 am to pee and then cant get back to sleep for hours! anyone else having this problem? I'm going to have to get some soothing music to play to keep my mind from racing!

OP posts:
whiteblossom · 23/01/2014 09:51

just caught on posts, sorry for those with bleeding and losses it must be so tough xxx

sitting I love grapes at the moment along with melon and strawberries. do we think its a sign of a boy or girl....?

Is anyone waiting until the birth to find out the sex? dh wont discuss as its too early (love the positive thinking hubby!)

Rockin ive been bloated since the day after I conceived Blush I had to the change my jeans three times that day as I just kept getting bigger. Every morning I think what the hell am I gonna wear. I ordered a bump band, ive yet to try it. Im worried it will look obvious. Ive some bigger clothes in the loft but I loathe to get them out but I know there will be some handy dresses in there..

Ive got my mw apt wed next week, so ill be glad to get the ball rolling.

I think my parents think im avoiding them, not sure how to get round that and I cant face going to their house (the smells!)

cookielove · 23/01/2014 09:55

white I would like to wait to find out at the birth, she would like to know at the scan. With our previous mmc we had genetic testing and found out the baby was a boy which actually comforted me!

I think if she really wants to find out we will both find out cause there is no way he can know when I can't!

ksrwr · 23/01/2014 10:02

hi all, i'm only 4 weeks and 6 days, but i have this constant feeling in my lower abdomen - its a combination of feeling full, needing a wee and wind. does anyone else have that?

is anyone the same as me - i.e. 5 weeks tomorrow?

also, when did everyone's sickness start?

whiteblossom when i was pregnant with my DD i couldn't get enough of fruit.. so maybe a girl?

sebsmummy1 · 23/01/2014 10:03

I found out at 12 weeks last time as my ex colleague sexes lamb foetuses as part of her work and could tell by my scan photo and where the urethra was situated between the legs as to what sex he was.

Assuming my 12 week scan is clear enough this time and I get that far god willing I'm going to send her the photo and see if she can tell. My OH and I might also be able to tell using my sons as a comparison. So exciting!!!!!!! Grin

isitme1 · 23/01/2014 10:04

Blossom I found out with both and will hopefully find out this time too. Im not patient enough to wait that long lol.

im loving grapes and oranges!!
Ive cut out all yhe crap I used to eat. Figured its definitely not worth the extra biscuit/chocolate.

Since beginning of last pregnancy I put on around 8kg. I think 7ish is the norm (cant remember where I read that) so ib my defence its not all that bad hopefully.

Ive just clocked on have ww got our 1st partner of pregnant woman on this thread? Cookie? Welcome :)
if im wrong tell me to shut up lol

Sebs that feeling is the worst. I remember when I hemorrhaged with ds2 and after the initial bleed the bleed I had after really scared me. Even the 1st few days of periods I would be on edge thinking shit im gona hemorrhage again. Not nice at all :(

waffles how are you feeling? ?
How did that list of food go down??

How is everyone feeling

x

isitme1 · 23/01/2014 10:06

Oooo sebs I might send you mine too to send across Grin
Very excited x

sebsmummy1 · 23/01/2014 10:10

PMSL I'm not sure I can pimp her out but I might be able to take a punt or two when our scan photos appear. Once she showed us what we were looking for it was so bloody obvious that we were looking at a willy wee line as a girly one would have to be much lower to be between the legs.

cookielove · 23/01/2014 10:20

Isitme sorry that is my phone autocorrexting as it doesn't like the word dh and always changes it to she. No worries!

xxmissbrightsidexx · 23/01/2014 10:57

My OH is adamant that we're finding out the gender I don't have much of a say at all, I'm only the one carrying it after all after having two babies already, I'd love this one to be a surprise. But alas it won't happen. Xx

isitme1 · 23/01/2014 11:18

Oooh lol I was getting happy someone's partner had come on for advice lol cookie

sebs at the 12 week scan?? I just remembered someone once said you cant see until after 15 weeks or something. If you can tell before that brilliant! !

Brightside I love the whole surprise thing but its still a surprise if you find out as you dont knoe what your baby will look like until after birth.

Im pretty fair skined and dh is pretty dark (not that it matters) but its still a surprise to see who yhe baby came out to look like lol. Both are pretty fair. Youngest is slightly more olive than eldest but eldest is always pale due to health problems.

the weather here was horrendous this morning and now the sun is out. Will take kids for a walk later on

x

Jemma2907 · 23/01/2014 12:01

I had a scan this morning (7w5d) and my DH was staring intently at the pic. I told him there is absolutely no way of knowing if it's a boy or a girl yet, he still wants to try! Stubborn men! He doesn't actually want to find out until the birth, I think it's just so be can challenge himself with the scan pics and congratulate himself if he gets it right!
