Still nothing. Hmm

enormouse · 25/01/2014 10:35

Nothing here too littleray. Looks likely that baby's going to turn up on DPs birthday (31st) . Hang in there! Smile

Waiting for room on the ward before I can go in to start the induction. Looks like even this but it's going to take a while, well nothing's been quick so far Smile

MrsVDB · 25/01/2014 10:51

Nothing here either. Actually feel less pregnant than I did a week ago. When I'm in bed sometimes I forget I'm even pregnant until I try and move!

Sweep booked for Monday which I was hoping to avoid but not very hopeful now

fly must be frustrating but at least the end is in sight

Angelesque · 25/01/2014 11:14

Nature so glad the test results seem to be coming back favourably - what an emotional roller coaster but so good things seem to be moving in the right direction. Enjoy the cuddles!

To all those still waiting - don't worry ladies, I'm still here with no real signs and DD isn't till Tues so I shall out wait you all Grin

necks another bloody massive RLT capsule

BuntCadger · 25/01/2014 11:42

Mrsv the sweeps i had weren't too bad at all and it was good to know cvx was progressing x

MrsVDB · 25/01/2014 12:20

Thanks bunt I'm just worried that the lack of any bhs or cramps over last few days means it won't do much. Also I'm convinced he's moved. Not sure how but movements are in odd places now

Also had a stuffy cold last few days which isn't helping the pity party!

Although I've now washed all clothes (sort from 3-6 months as plenty of time for this) so can now sort them out and put away :)

littleraysofsunshine · 25/01/2014 12:28

Got a sweep booked Monday I'll be 40+1.

I just feel really fed up and hormonal now. Not sleeping well at all. Neither are my dd's. Which is making for a very moody household. Hmm

I keep getting strong BH's but not regular. Been to the park this morning to keep moving, RLT last night & will have more in a minute. Not in the mood for sex so that's a no no.

What change have you noticed in your baby's movements?

littleraysofsunshine · 25/01/2014 12:29

Also losing hope that this will be a January baby Confused

MrsVDB · 25/01/2014 12:50

little everything has gone quiet for me after starting the rlt and epo which is strange!

He's been 3/5 engaged for weeks now and his back was along my left side so felt most movement at top of bump or on right side. Now getting definite pokey bits coming out left side (I suppose could be elbows) but kick feelings all over. Can't see how he could kick left side if that's where his back is. Mws also have been struggling to find heartbeat (fine when they do so not worried) so obviously in a tricky position. I'm not convinced he's still head down

BuntCadger · 25/01/2014 12:51

i thought this one had moved too mrsv but it was just getting very cramped. It's amazing how we all vary so much tho, some of us had lots of early stop starts and some just went from nothing to baby. my ds2 has just told us we have to have another baby after this one Shock lol. I don't think so.

I do keep rubbing my tummy tho expecting a baby to give a little kick back, now it feels like whole pregnancy went by in a blink, this time last week it didn't feel like it was going by fast at all!

littleraysofsunshine · 25/01/2014 13:19

Dc's has been 4/5 engaged for about 2 weeks. Can literally just feel the back of the next now she said. And the hb is very low down, baby is in then up on my left side bottom at the top I think with legs to my right. I wt a lot of nobbly things under and around my belly button but maybe could be backward elbow movement? A lot of head squirming too down low

MrsVDB · 25/01/2014 13:51

Just repacking hospital bag and eaten the chocolates I had put in there oops!

enormouse · 25/01/2014 14:06

I left my hospital bag at dps parents as his dad will be driving us to the hospital. Mainly to prevent my haribo tangfastics meeting an early demise. Smile.

littleray I don't think he's moving as much any more and feels a bit lower down. Like MrsV I have moments where I don't feel pregnant at all.

Dd1 & I have just done some birth preparation yoga. She found it hilarious. And another cup of RLT done. Walking tomorrow...!

littleraysofsunshine · 25/01/2014 14:45

Movements have slowed here, just feel different. I am also very swollen down there now. Probably from low head. When I was in the bath the other night, I felt there and baby went a bit bonkers... :-s lol

Anyone else try to add me to the fb group please? I'll upload a bump pic of how ridiculously up front it is....

MrsVDB · 25/01/2014 14:55

little pm me your name and what your profile pic is and ill try and find you.

littleraysofsunshine · 25/01/2014 15:04

Done Smile

Mythreeknights · 25/01/2014 15:56

Thinking of you overdue ladies with huge sympathies. It wasn't fun at all going over my due date and I do remember how uncomfortable it is very clearly! It cannot be long now!!!!

I am now on antibiotics for mastitis (which is good for me, but Lucy has been more fractious today and I am worried they are having a negative effect on her, and I have another four days of the course to go).

Last night I tried to get to sleep at about 8pm, but baby wasn't having any of it, and yet even when we got her to sleep (10pm), I just lay there awake, I tried Horlicks, lavender in my pulse points, my post natal hypno cd, reading, paracetamol for the mastitis shivers, fresh knickers, (getting desperate now), and in the end I did drift off and Lucy was brilliant and woke just once between midnight and seven am. I on the other hand was up with sore boob, tummy cramps (after pains?) but on the whole I feel a lot more human today and less of a mad woman. I even started seeing images in my Horlicks (an elephant which turned into a devil)... Sultanajo, I think I am on the same page you were on a few weeks ago.

Frizz1986 · 25/01/2014 17:02

Aw mythree that all sounds really tough. Am grateful that no sign of mastitis yet this end but know there is a chance ill get it too (really dont want it)

Feel for all you overdue as well. Am kinda glad i went early now. I had a v swollen fanjo most of the pg and it sucked. Currently having tingling sown there but its at least reminding me of my pelvic floors so i dont pee myself.

Have been a lovely wife today and let dh go out and play some star trek game for the day. Hoping he will spoil me this evening. Am trying to get him to interact more with bubs as when he has her he rends to be playing on his ipad or phone. I do the same but only when she is snoozing on me, if shes awake i sing her songs. Any ideas what i can add to my collection.
I sing twinkle twinkle, Her ABCs, head shoulders knees and toes....and also make up random stuff.

Felix90 · 25/01/2014 17:14

Mythree that sounds awful. I hope you're feeling better soon.

Frizz my DP is the same! He plays Grand Theft Auto when he's looking after her ffs! I don't know any nursery rhymes apart from twinkle twinkle little star, so I sing her 70's disco classics instead Grin

TarkaTheOtter · 25/01/2014 20:12

Haha I'm as bad as your dps, when it's just me and the baby (ie no toddler in tow) I'm normally mumsnetting or watching tv!

TarkaTheOtter · 25/01/2014 20:14

mythree hopefully you'll feel better soon now you've got the abs. Probiotics might help baby avoid neg side effects, I think you can get baby drops or can just have them yourself.

BuntCadger · 25/01/2014 21:23

hope it's ok I started a postnatal thread for us x

littleraysofsunshine · 25/01/2014 22:03

This baby has been so active the past twenty mins. Hiccups, big movements sending me into BH's.
I had a bath do that might be why..

As excited as I feel I still keep having anxious moments of ohhhh that pain ??
