Wow altered congratulations, glad you went in when you did. Hope you are resting now x

quacko that sounds tough, hopefully Sofia's levels will pick up tomorrow, big hugs.

Ooh frying, maybe it is you next!

fryingpantoface · 01/01/2014 18:46

Well went to the toilet. Nothing after thirty mins. So after another twenty i start to need the toilet.

couldn't tell whether gush was from fluid or pee.

back to the drawing board

Toothfairy78 · 01/01/2014 18:48

Wow altered! Congratulations on the birth of your son! And sounds like you did it in a very business like manner. Well done! X

Naturegirl82 · 01/01/2014 18:50

Congratulations altered glad you went in to get checked.

Busy day here, almost finished sorting the house, just a last sweep through tomorrow and apart from baby stuff I think it will be done Smile Then I can clean finally yay Grin . Just taken the xmas decs down so they are the last thing to go up in the attic. Finally starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Whoop.

Mw appointment tomorrow. Baby hasn't dropped yet (I don't think) but feeling more stabby pains but also getting more heart burn weirdly.

fryingpantoface · 01/01/2014 18:55

Nature - my heartburn got worse with ds towards the end, even when he had dropped. It was crap. Now my heartburn totally sucks. It goes away really quickly though

Naturegirl82 · 01/01/2014 19:05

frying I hope so as it's torture at the moment! Haven't had heartburn the whole time now I'm having to drink milk by the gallon and sleep sitting up! Sad

frying ooooh could be you!! I love that you tasted it. I would so do that too.

Been having slight nausea, and slightly off colour stomach today, but suspect I am seeing things where there aren't any, as no real other signs.

mrs nesting time! I just sorted through a bin bag full of clothes from a friend to wash the newborn stuff. It's a nice feeling, isn't it?

HumptyDumptyBumpty · 01/01/2014 19:26

mrs? I meant nature. Blush

HumptyDumptyBumpty · 01/01/2014 19:27

Oh, and my heartburn is not funny anymore. Bastard thing. Not been this bad ever, now I can't bend over without getting a gush of acid.

fryingpantoface · 01/01/2014 19:35

No gush. So will watch Sherlock tonight.

the baby will be here in 4 weeks, just have to hold onto that

flowersfortea · 01/01/2014 19:50

checking in, and congratulations to all those popping these babies out!
am 37 weeks now, all well but spending time dangling over ball as have a feeling baby is spending a lot of time back to back!

sarahleanne · 01/01/2014 20:06

Congratulations altered on the birth of your little one, glad you made it to hospital :)

Just marking my place as busy scrubbing kitchen.

Frizz1986 · 01/01/2014 21:07

Congrats altered

quack sorry that the levels haven't dropped. I hope the next 24hrs pass quickly. It's good that u have some nice mws there and yes baby docs are awful.
Dh wasnt allowed to stay either. He had to leave by 10pm and come back the next morning and with no food for him either.... It's tough.

I am exhausted! It takes about 1hr to get Aurelia to feed for 20mins and we feed every 2hrs or so so its pretty relentless so far. Very drained and I think Dh wishes he could help.

MrsVDB · 01/01/2014 21:29

Congratulations altered another quick birth! Love to hear the details when you get time :)

Naturegirl82 · 01/01/2014 21:40

Yay just ordered my sling, I've gone for the Je Porte Mon Bebe Stretchy Wrap Sling. Hopefully should be here next week. Now just need to decide on reuseable nappies and that's everything I think.

quack I hope the next 24 hours go well for you and you both manage to get home soon.

Hi ladies. Just a quick post as I've been having a meltdown today about the caesarean tomorrow. Have just found the thread and haven't read through it fully am currently burying my head in the sand but congratulations to those who have their lovely babies already and sorry about those still in hospital.

Hopefully will be able to update tomorrow with news of Alexander's birth. Take care girls :-)

fryingpantoface · 01/01/2014 22:47

Good luck tomorrow MrsR

TobyLerone · 01/01/2014 23:01

Good luck, MrsR!

HumptyDumptyBumpty · 01/01/2014 23:09

mrsRA good luck for tomorrow!

HabitualHobbyist · 01/01/2014 23:21

Altered congratulations!!

Quack sending lots of positive thoughts and hugs to you and Sofia.

MrsR good luck for tomorrow.

Had a minor scare today in that baby decided it deserved a New Year rest. Very little consistent movement until about an hour ago, and that was only once I'd completely overdone the caffeine to try stimulate some movement. I'm now completely wired and can't sleep. The joys of nearly-parenthood!

Naturegirl82 · 01/01/2014 23:31

Good luck tomorrow mrsr, hope all goes smoothly for you.

Frizz1986 · 01/01/2014 23:47

Massive good luck mrsr for tomorrow

MrsGSR · 02/01/2014 02:23

Just a quick post to say congratulations to those who already have their little ones, and good luck to those who are in hospital/getting ready for inductions or c-sections.

38 weeks here but no sign of her making an appearance soon.

Bluecarrot · 02/01/2014 03:59

Good luck mrsR. Planned c sections are v different to emergency ones! I can't remember the reason why you need one, but concentrate/visualise holding your baby afterwards, rather than the surgery!

Congrats to altered on new baby boy. Looking forward to hearing the name.

Quack we have picked same name but different spelling for our dd! Sorry things aren't going straightforward for you. How much skin to skin are you getting with her?

GoshAnneGorilla · 02/01/2014 04:23

Congratulations to all the new arrivals and for those about to give birth, I hope all goes well.

38+5, but no sign of anything yet.
