11lb paper! Hope you and Lewis are home soon. Congratulations!

Frizz1986 · 05/01/2014 22:06

OMG paper That is just amazing! Huge congrats.

flyawayblue · 05/01/2014 22:06

Wow paper 11lb, hope you and Lewis are home soon.

TobyLerone · 05/01/2014 22:22

Holy crap, paper! I was just relaying your story to DH and DS. We all look like this Shock now!

Amazing. I've never heard of using forceps in a c-section.

MrsVDB · 05/01/2014 22:36

Congratulations paper wow 11lb! You were a few weeks early too weren't you? Imagine if you got to 42w!

fryingpantoface · 05/01/2014 22:36

Wow paper! Well done!

still waiting to be seen. I'm so tired i just want to sleep, but if they are going to wake me it's pointless. I've had a mooch and cant even see a midwife around to ask if i can just sleep.

i don't want them to say "tomorrow"

TobyLerone · 05/01/2014 22:41

Did you have GD, paper.

itsonlyapapermoon · 06/01/2014 00:19

Nope, no GD. I got called back for a 2nd glucose challenge test but it came back normal. My other babies all came at 38weeks so I was getting cocky thinking this one would follow suit, but he was born the day after his due date?? ...I know, I'd never heard of forceps in a csect either...and from where I was lying they also had something tied up around a hook near the light and we're using that as leverage to get the baby out I guess? It was mental-so rough!!

BuntCadger · 06/01/2014 00:20

Yay paper finally posted on here as I've been sitting on my hands not posting Grin he's totally gorgeous! X

BuntCadger · 06/01/2014 00:23

I'm eating ice lollies in bed again and chewing facecloth too. A week till edd to end is in sight. Smile

itsonlyapapermoon · 06/01/2014 00:29

Thanks bunt!! Hopefully your little one doesn't make you wait too much longer!! Xx

fryingpantoface · 06/01/2014 00:49

The pessary is in ladies. Systems are a go go! The cervix is easily reachable, still long, but they could break my waters now if need be, but would rather see how i get on

Bluecarrot · 06/01/2014 00:49

frying we might have our dc the same day then!

I'd go on ahead and sleep- even if you can get an hour of resting or dozing you will be in a better frame of mind.

Bluecarrot · 06/01/2014 00:51

Oh! X posted! Will be thinking about you tonight and tomorrow. Doing my last chance saloon yoga/accupressure etc to try to induce myself at home.

TobyLerone · 06/01/2014 03:28

Sounds terrifying, paper. Glad you're both ok :)

Stupid being awake :(

Percypiglet · 06/01/2014 03:43

Well done Paper , enjoy your bouncing baby boy.

Agree Toby , am totally bored of being awake at this time in the morning, least when baby is here I will have a reason! Think I have heartburn (never had it before)..... bleugh.

TobyLerone · 06/01/2014 03:58

Morning, percy! Shit, innit?

Percypiglet · 06/01/2014 04:10

Last night it was awake between 2 and 330pm and then tried to get back to sleep, eventually did. Today managed a bit longer in bed before I got up........... I actually have envy of those people being a normal sleeper.

Oh well, life will be changing and sure I will see many many hours of darkness before our baby is a year old.

Had several gender predictions this week again, people dont get bored of this game do they?! Just me! Most people saying a boy throughout pregnancy. We'll know in less than 4 weeks now, max! Scary!

Naturegirl82 · 06/01/2014 04:20

Morning, I too am awake. Pooch woke up and was crying again. Finally she went back to sleep but then I had to get up to go to the toilet and woke her up again dammit Sad . Sounds like she might finally have gone back to sleep again though. Fx! Dh has slept through most of it so whoever it was that said that men just don't hear things at night I would agree.

TobyLerone · 06/01/2014 04:37

I managed to sleep until it was light yesterday morning and it was amazing! Back to normal today, though, it seems.

Agreed re the sex predictions. Everyone seems convinced this is a girl. DH and I have always thought boy, but that's probably because we have a slight preference for a boy. Not that it matters, obviously!
We'll know for sure by the end of next week.

I don't know why I don't get up. I'm still lying in bed. Really crampy in the back/bump, so I'm sure getting up would help, but I'm too lazy!

TobyLerone · 06/01/2014 04:37

Morning, nature!

BandontheFun · 06/01/2014 05:00

Morning! Just thought I would catch up, struggling to get back to sleep anyway.

More babies!! Congratulations Choco and Paper

New mummys Thanks for sharing your birth experience. It's reassuring to know that even if it didn't go to plan , took ages, hurt like a motherfucker or just slid out, everyone is just happy to be out the other side with their babies. Really does make me feel less anxious.

Good luck Frying

The whole sex prediction thing is funny. My grandad very matter of fact told me I was having a girl and I quote "cos u carry boy's in your arse and urs hasn't got bigger" had no idea ur arse is able to sustain life! I really do have no idea. No preference either way. DH thinks its a girl.

Have a sweep Wed and have realised that even if it doesn't work...the longest I will still be pregnant for is less than 2weeks. Scary thought.

Now to get back to sleep....I really do miss sleeping in my front...side sleeping is just not the same! :)

alteredimages · 06/01/2014 05:00

Morning everyone!

Hope you are both sleeping soundly Toby and nature.

paper congratulations! Flowers I hope you are getting some rest now and lots and lots of snuggles.

Any news, frying? Hope you haven't been kept waiting overnight.

Sooooi tired. I think I might fall asleep feeding.Sad

Naturegirl82 · 06/01/2014 05:05

I actually quite like the sex guessing game. Dh was convinced this one was a girl (and was very happy when we found out that was the case). It would have been fun speculating what we were having, but I've very much learnt to roll with the punches with this pregnancy.

Right I need to risk going to the loo again. Going to use the other bathroom this time in the hope I don't wake the pooch again.

OP posts:
TobyLerone · 06/01/2014 05:07

Nope, still awake, altered. I'll probably fall asleep around 6.30, just in time for my 6.45 alarm Hmm

How are you doing, other than tired?

Morning, band!

Anyone heard from sultana?
