Wow, you've all been busy! Sorry, I can't remember much, but here's what stuck in my head:
sarahl, we were told at our nhs antenatal class that the baby's back is the heaviest part, which is why gravity will help you out if you lean forwards. I remember that kneeling on the sofa with your hands on the floor was suggested, but I think that might be hard to keep up for long! The one that sounded most comfortable to me was sitting backwards on a dining chair - straddle it and lean your arms on the back. But like Felix said, any sort of leaning forwards will help.
felix, you've been signed off work because you need to be, and it isn't your responsibility to go back and help out! They will have to learn to do without you! Good luck with the bloods.
frying, hope the worst day of the pox isn't too bad. When I had it, I remember cool baths being quite soothing (vague memory of putting bicarbonate of soda in the water?), I don't know whether that would help. Calamine lotion is fab, how can there be something better?
Glad you're ok, enormouse, allergies can be scary things.
Sorry to everyone I forgot, need to visit gap if delivery is free...
