hope baby comes soon clare. must be so frustrating!

everyone can calm down, I've got my antibiotics now Grin had my all day antenatal class today. 9.30am till 4.30pm. I am so freaking drained from it. I've gone all puffy aswell. feel like I'm a balloon. I had to take my shoes off in the class because they were so uncomfortable. luckily I had matching socks on today Grin

hope you're all okay. my brain is too tired to remember what you have been saying and I'm on the app so I can't look Grin

itsliz · 17/11/2013 17:49

Come on baby! Come on baby!

Hope things start to speed up for you soon clare

stom I wish my DP would get the cleaning bug too! I've been on at him about for weeks and weeks about wanting to clear out the cupboards in our flat (because I can't bend to sort the stuff that's lower down or stretch to reach the things on shelves!) and he finally gave in today.
It all got a bit stressful but it feels good to have so much more space now, especially since our flat's so tiny!

Ooh and welcome to the December thread, crunchy and better! Hope you're keeping up with our conversations ok so far, it seems it's all going on at the moment Grin

I've been feeling so out of sorts today, getting bored and uncomfortable if I sit down for too long but achey and sore if I move about too much. My hips and back are still killing me and although I'm only 34 weeks tomorrow I'm officially fed up and ready for this baby to get out!
Got an appointment with the midwife tomorrow though so fingers crossed there's nothing to worry about...

Anyway, hope everyone's having a nice relaxing weekend Smile

MrsShrubs · 17/11/2013 17:49

Can't believe how much has gone on!!!

Welcome to the newbies Flowers hope your pregnancies do far have been well!

To all those in the beginnings of labour lots of luck & clare hope you don't have to wait too much longer for your little one.

So much has gone on since yesterday morning I don't think I can comment all round but to those aching & unwell hope it passes .

Someone said something about milky discharge and an increase- I have this, going through a couple of panty liners a day.

Are any of us actually going to have December babies at this rate?!

MrsShrubs · 17/11/2013 17:50

Ps got my mummy down from now till thurs as DH has had to go 250miles away on a course for a few days so she's driven from the midlands to kent to babysit me & have some girlie time, really looking forward to it Smile

Stom91 · 17/11/2013 18:00

That sounds lovely mrs
liz I'm feeling uncomfortable too. When I pack the shopping away I now put all the fridge stuff on the floor and sit on the floor to put it away lol.
I'm only 35 weeks but I'm ready for DD to come too. I have my 36 week appointment Tuesday but I'll only be 35+3 lol
And the health visitor is coming tomorrow.

Quick question- if baby is breach/transverse and they offer that ECV thing can I refuse? I really don't want. Even more so after reading a thread on here about her baby dying because of it. And a couple of close calls with some other mums. Even though it major surgery if I had to choose between ECV and CS I'd choose a CS
But don't want to have to fight if I don't want a ECV if that makes sense.
I did have another question but if completely forgotten it

Hope everyone is having a nice evening.

Thanks for all the kind thoughts, it's so quiet here think there's only about 4 of us on the whole ward, just had a massive dinner as I'm to fast from midnight. DP is coming back soon and thankfully DD had been good as gold at her grandparents which is a massive relief!

Stom91 · 17/11/2013 18:04

Oh it was birth plan. I have one that's in my notes the big standard thing that you just fill out.
But can I stick one to the front of my notes. In a bullet point type thing.
I'm really worried they're going to miss that I'm hyper mobile. So I want that at the top then like pain relief. Water birth etc etc. Do I am any sense? I find I'm not making much sense lately lol

I think you can always refuse an ECV Stom and not many places will let you naturally birth a breech baby.

Featherbag · 17/11/2013 18:15

Rant alert - are men inherently fucking stupid, or do they learn?! I've been asking DH for about 3 weeks to get the car seat, Moses basket stand and a couple of other bits down from the loft. I've told him several times this needed to be done by today in case the car seat needs washing. So it's been established I'm in the first stage of labour, been having contractions on and off for 2 days. I'm standing (painfully) in the kitchen, overseeing DS eating his tea and making a roast dinner for me and DH. I ask him to go get the stuff from the loft. HE THROWS A FULL-ON KEVIN THE TEENAGER STROP!!! Proper stamping up the stairs, insisting I've never told him it needed doing, I'm incapable of reason wanting him to do it today. It took him 5 FUCKING MINUTES!!! And he STILL can't see that he might be being unreasonable! I've asked him if he would feel comfortable ringing his dad, saying 'Feather's making me a roast dinner and feeding DS, she's in labour as we speak but - how unreasonable is this - she's asked me to go into the loft to get a few things down! Can you believe it? I've told her it's not on, I was busy reading my book!' No, of course he wouldn't ring his dad and say that, his dad would tear him a new one!

Sorry about that, please feel free to tell me he's being an arsehole I'm being hormonal.

WhisperMen · 17/11/2013 18:28

feather he is being a cockwomble. Grin

Alyssa1978 · 17/11/2013 18:37

cockwomble lmao that's brill
Feather he is being very unreasonable, I wouldn't be doing a damn thing if I was in the first stages of labour like you Hun. You should put his roast dinner in the loft, I bet he'd be straight up there for it Grin

meandbumpy · 17/11/2013 18:39

Come on baby all the pies!

Feather he's being an arsehole. Let's hope he's just having a blokey panic. Hope you're feeling ok and the rant has made you feel better x

Alyssa1978 · 17/11/2013 18:47

I think this has got to have been the most stressful day ever.
Apart from the hour they were asleep both kids have not stopped acting themselves all day and you can guarantee when dp gets in they will be as good as gold.

All I've done is shout and cry non stop, I feel like the worst mother in the world. How the hell am i meant to cope with another one?
I think he needs to stay where he is as long as possible.

I used to be so calm before I got pregnant now I feel like I'm always angry.

froubylou · 17/11/2013 19:10

Evening all.

Can't move. Made huge roast dinner and homemade apple pie. Yummy yum.

Claire hope baby puts in an appearance soon for you.

Whisper hope your swelling has gone down. Just keep an eye on it. You are back at hospital tomorrow arent you? Make sure you go. Protein in your urine and swelling can be a sign of pre eclampsia I think.

Going to have a nice bath and early night.

WhisperMen · 17/11/2013 19:14

yeah frouby I'm back at the hospital at 9am tomorrow. apparently for a bp and urine test according to the receptionist who phoned me today.

I'm in bed falling asleep already. I'm exhausted Sad who knew sitting listening to a woman drone on for 7 hours could tire you out so much!

Featherbag · 17/11/2013 19:43

Did you get your abs whisper?

DH has apparently suddenly developed a sense of self preservation and, sensing his end may be nigh, has apologised profusely.

The roast dinner's more for me, been craving one all day!

Just been laughing at us all virtually cringing at our constant TMI content of posts, and have a suggestion. As we're all getting to the end of our pregnancies, we should have a TMI truce. No cringing, apologising or warning of TMI, let's just accept we're all going to be discussing fanny mucus, poo and god only knows what else over the next few weeks, followed by sore boobs, bleeding, probably some infections of a unsavoury nature too. What do you reckon ladies?

Alyssa1978 · 17/11/2013 20:00

Deal feather truce lol

MildredH · 17/11/2013 20:10

Good plan Feather. Shall I kick off? So- I've had excessive white, discharge for a week. Prior to that nothing at all. Not thrushy in any way, not smelly. I'm 38+1- could this possibly be my plug? ( hopeful, hopeful!!)

PinkWitch803 · 17/11/2013 20:17

Truce, as long as we remember not to TMI outside this forum :)

MrsShrubs · 17/11/2013 20:29

Great plan feather glad the OH apologised as well!!

extracrunchy · 17/11/2013 20:34

Shrubs that was me with the milky discharge! Are you getting yours checked? Think I'm going to give it a day and see. Pretty sure it's just pregnajuice for me Grin Mildred - just saw you're having the same. Interesting....

Feather, it wasn't Kew steam museum was it?? Took DS their earlier this year.

Itsliz I feel exactly like you do - achy and out of sorts and can't get comfy then get cross sitting down. Just had enough...

Feather I'm glad your DH has said he's sorry! Prob just man panic but COME ON. Hope things are going well. Can't believe you made roast dinner in labour - super woman! And Frouby too!

Alyssa I'm with you - feel I'm a horrible shouty mum nowadays and I've only got one. I reckon you can cut yourself some slack.

DH, DS and I went to a new all American diner near us for dinner - was ace, so stuffed and DS had his first milkshake! (The three of us shared, 3 straws Smile) He loved it of course, had an insane sugar high and then the mother of all tantrums...

5ammy · 17/11/2013 21:01

My excessive watery and millet mucosy discharge ended up being bacterial vaginosis. Didn't smell bad, but a bit odd - may be worth having a swab so you can address it if it is. X

MrsShrubs · 17/11/2013 21:03

Mine doesn't smell at all and isn't itchy or anything, I just assumed it was part and parcel of the delights of pregnancy?

extracrunchy · 17/11/2013 21:08

Me too Shrubs. Hmm... Wondering if I should worry!

beth27123 · 17/11/2013 21:08

Mrsshrubs mine was the same, even weirder I thought I'd wet myself and it came out with a sort of pop but there wasn't that much there and hasn't been anymore since :(.
