Which book raisin?

justmuddlingthroughit · 20/09/2013 13:27

Oh god I'm such a fuckin' idiot! I'm off to sit in a corner with a dunce cap on my head...

apprenticemamma · 20/09/2013 13:35

With current consensus on late preg losses discussion. I've heard a few stories at my work (bc of nature of work) and I force self to switch off.

Really pleased to hear your news total and echo what's already been said saggy , wishing you luck.

Re Dr Seuss my ds loves his work. Especially fox in socks bc his pronunciation makes us giggle. Often hear him repeating to himself 'fuckin socks, fuckin box, fuckin sox in box' and when he's putting his socks on often repeats this. Foxin hilarious. Grin

Jolleigh · 20/09/2013 13:39

Just checking in ladies to stop you all worrying. Have been quiet as I'm still having a particularly hard time of it as late.

Thanks to those of you who've been in touch...you've been great support to me.

On the cheering myself up front, I've just been into Lush with DP on our lunch break and charged an eye watering amount to his credit card so I can have a horrendously smelly bath later, and many more through the pregnancy when I'm feeling low.

In other news, a job I went for and missed getting by an inch seems to have opened up again on a temporary basis and I've been head hunted for it this morning. I have a feeling I'll have to re interview, despite having interviewed for it the day I got by BFP. And there's a chance I'd lose my job security if I went for it, despite a hefty pay rise. So I've got some conversations to have this afternoon to see how the ground lies and need to decide if I could cope with my company's gruelling interview process while I'm feeling like this.

Hope everyone's well...I've not managed to look at the whole thread.

Saggy - my thoughts are with you hun. x

NoMaybeAboutIt · 20/09/2013 13:43

Jolls it's lively to hear from you. I hope things are ok. And I hope things with the job work out in whichever way makes things easier for you x

Grey I knew what you meant Grin

Apprentice your DS sounds hilarious Grin

mimili · 20/09/2013 13:57

Some nice news... my friend has just given birth to a lovely little boy!

commsgirl · 20/09/2013 13:59

Grey genius Grin

Jol good to hear from you! Enjoy your Lush purchases and I hope things work out the way you want on the job front.

Apprentice your ds sounds so funny, bless him!

Mimi I'm sure I had flutters last week but nothing since, don't worry :).

I'm with the general consensus re personal stories vs 'random' ones.

commsgirl · 20/09/2013 14:01

Mimi Yaay baby :)

rescoonetwothree · 20/09/2013 14:02

hahahaha apprentice !!!! heres a similar unintentional faux pas

joll glad you've checked in, sounds like you have a lot to think about but you must be a bit smug that they head hunted you!

re: dr seuss - best books ever!

x0gawjus0x · 20/09/2013 14:29

PS grey - I've been a bit uncreative on the sex guess spreadsheet - so please feel free to have a go.

Thanks all for the good luck wishes - the Vendor is still no out and we may not get the keys now until Wednesday - argh!

You can all edit the Sex Guess spreadsheet - just add your name Grin

(I'll make some pretty graphs off the back of it when I get a chance next week)

Great spread sheets. I've done a few guesses on the genders but I need to have a look back through scan pics and make some more guesses.

PiratesMam · 20/09/2013 15:14

Afternoon all.

Joll hello lovely good to hear from you. My DP refuses to go into Lush because of the smell! I love it in there though. I need some nice treats like that. Sounds really promising on the job front, hope it all works out.

mummy and grey loving the tables here and on FB! Although this will expose my gender predication success rate very transparently. I still have confidence in my techniques though.

pain I am on number 3 too and I keep saying to DH "whyyyy are we doing this?!" and panicking, but then remembering how lucky we all are. I am slightly worried about my ability to cope though. JK10 and your brood of 5, you are my inspiration!!!

First week of primary school is done! Feck it's hard work getting them ready for school?! Think we're getting the knack though and he loves it thank goodness. The weekend is taking on new significance though, I can't wait for a rest.

rescoonetwothree · 20/09/2013 15:34

oops! x posting!

i've added a gender spreadsheet to Facebook if you are on there and want to add your guesses!

i'll leave it on there for the time being as it has the links to pictures and will out everyone on here and also cause the access to the pics will only be available for those on the Facebook!

commsgirl · 20/09/2013 15:54

Pirates I'll be highly disappointed if your correct guess rate is less than 90%. You are the oracle. No pressure :)

HotCrossPun · 20/09/2013 16:01

Some reassurance needed please.

I'm getting really bad pains in my stomach. Waves of pain from my upper abdomen down to my pelvis and a stabby feeling down by my hip bone.

I'm trying my best not to get stressed about it but it's been going on all day and it's getting really uncomfortable.

No bleeding at all though.

rescoonetwothree · 20/09/2013 16:03

hot i had this and i have put it down to stretching - I've heard the heartbeat since on doppler (not sure if that reassures you at all) - but if in doubt go to epu, that's what it's there for xx

comms if pirates has less than 100 I'm kicking her off the fb.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 20/09/2013 16:09

Hot I've had it too, am also putting it down to stretching Smile

Great spreadsheet work people!

You'd better be right Pirates Grin

Rockchick1984 · 20/09/2013 16:09

Hot if its going up that high its unlikely to be baby related - chances are its to do with your digestive system (or possibly baby pressing on a nerve although not very coin while they are this small). Call your midwife though and get her to put your mind at ease and possibly book you in for a scan Thanks

liberuna · 20/09/2013 16:19

15+5 no movement as yet - but put on a kilo and belly expanding at ridiculous rate. I'm worried I wont hear anything during next scan :)

commsgirl · 20/09/2013 16:24

Grey I feel that's completely fair!

Hot Don't fret! I've had similar and like Rock said, if it's that high up it's probably digestion related. Remember everything is stretching/moving too. If you're worried give your midwife a ring to put your mind at rest x

Prambo · 20/09/2013 16:56

Hottie, ring the midwife, I say, but deffo related to stretching.

MTB, thanks for the spreadsheets, although there are lots of names on there who have left and some who have miscarried Sad

Jolls, I'd go for the gruelling interview. You're not overly keen on the staff where you are, are you?

BadlyWrittenPoem · 20/09/2013 17:03

Hot, I agree with the others that you wouldn't be getting pains that high up for a baby complication at this stage as your womb isn't that high yet.
