Ok, I can't see a May thread in here so I guess I will start one! According to the NHS due date calculator my EDD is actually 30th April but I think that makes me more likely to be having a May baby anyway!

Am feeling very tentative about starting this thread as I had a mc in June and it's very early days for this one but...anyone want to come and chat through these nerve-wracking first few days?

OP posts:

ThePFJ · 15/09/2013 21:29

I don't think there actually is a pie chart. We just like them. Statistics and stationary.... stealing mousemats and biros from the office... You know the sort of thing Wink

NannyPlumForPM · 15/09/2013 21:30

A-ha! I made it to the end of the thread Grin brave sir robin is back from a day with the inlaws and I bravely turned my tail and ran hehe. Thank you so much for kind words!!

After a box of festive friends I feel much chirpier!! Ours is a self referral around here too- am in sunny rainy Worcester.

On a VERY positive note- inlaws left me £80 to 'treat myself' woop woop!

There seems to be lots of your in the north!! Must be the water up there! I didn't realise cramping was normal in pg? Have just been to see the evil dr google to check if I had signs of mc.... He was effervescent as always.

Congratulations new joiners!

Chip86 · 15/09/2013 21:36

Dont worry thistle i cant see them on my phone eather think u have to be on PC

ThePFJ · 15/09/2013 21:43

Wow!! NannyPlum you are so brave.... let me feed and water your minstrels for the night and invite you to cake and to put your feet up!!

Glad you are feeling better!!
LOL Dr Google... yes.. I see him ALL the time.... Hmm
Cramping in the first trimester is pretty normal as long as its not intense and long lasting... e.g hours of really bad pain would be a concern. I find I am cramping and twinging. A twinge is totally different to a period-pain like cramp... its like my muscles moving about down there... If you see what I mean?? Feels like my muscles above my pubis have formed a wall, and I can feel them when I bend over.....

I am in Derbyshire - which I guess counts as North... but I was born and raised in Cornwall.... Grin

mumof2aimingfor4 · 15/09/2013 21:43

NannyPlum I've had cramping on right side where I guess my ovarie is, did some research and looks like its from a corpus luteum which forms on the ovarie from which you ovulated. It pumps hormones to make sure your womb lining doesn't shed whilst egg implants. Normally breaks down after a few weeks when not needed anymore but can cause discomfort. Which is great as we obviously don't worry enough as it is!!

mumof2aimingfor4 · 15/09/2013 21:45

Corpus luteum cyst forgot the last bit. Sorry

thistlelicker · 15/09/2013 21:46

Ooooh Chinese thingy says mini thistle is a girl!

ThePFJ · 15/09/2013 21:48

mumof2 I never knew that..... this totally explains the cramp like feelings on my left side.... I only have one fallopian tube you see.. so I am a lefty.... Wow... I feel so much better now. Thank you for your wisdom!!! Grin HUG!!! Extra Cake for you M'Lady!!! xxx

ThePFJ · 15/09/2013 21:52

awww thistle that's brilliant!! Does the Bounty Predictor agree though?? We'll have to start a new thread soon... And since I am Little Miss Clumsy I think I am NOT the girl for the job.... so I am going to leave you all for the night - because let's face it.. I chat on and take up valuable posts Wink See you all in the morning.

(Night night Brave Knights who until recently said Ni!)

moominleigh94 · 15/09/2013 21:52

Just cried at the song "Nothing Gonna Stop Us Now" by I think its called Starship? I love the song and I've never cried at it before, there's a memory attached but its neither happy nor unhappy... Hormones are taking their toll for sure.

AliOh · 15/09/2013 21:52

Hello and congrats mumof2 wow high five to the ever growing may-bies club!!

mumof2aimingfor4 · 15/09/2013 21:53

ThePFG my pleasure. I was really scared when I had cramping so made it my mission to find out why! Make sure you use it as an excuse to rest though Wink I have, OH is making me tea as I type xx

AliOh · 15/09/2013 21:54

Oh DP wants to watch titanic ... I have warned him about how emotional I am going to get, god help him lol!

CoventGarden75 · 15/09/2013 21:57

LOL no worries Rebecca easily done. Age, location, and DC1

Cybercat please don't feel guilty, having trouble TTC is s**t, although
most of nurses are lovely, I wish nobody has to go through treatment. Not romantic and very intrusive.

PFJ since this morning, there is a Stats tab on the stats on the Maybies Stats doc. with pie chart and other charts.

Haven't recovered from last night, Wink and have a long day tomorrow, so night night all
