Ok, I can't see a May thread in here so I guess I will start one! According to the NHS due date calculator my EDD is actually 30th April but I think that makes me more likely to be having a May baby anyway!

Am feeling very tentative about starting this thread as I had a mc in June and it's very early days for this one but...anyone want to come and chat through these nerve-wracking first few days?

Hiya ladies. Hope you don't mind me joining this thread. Just had my BFP this morning so very early days. Already have a DS who is 3 in two weeks. So happy to have a BFP but paranoia is already creeping in! Roll on 12 weeks. Haven't had a chance to read all the posts yet but hopefully will catch up and learn who is who over the next couple of weeks.

Scan tomorrow, am excited to see the little wotsit and fingers crossed that my perma-sickness is going to win me a strong heartbeat to see.

Wow! it's taken me ages to catch up on all your posts! Welcome all the new maybies so exciting! Whistle so glad all seems well with you, what a relief!

So jealous of all of you with scans done or booked in, awaiting to get back to Zimbabwe at the end of the month to book in with the midwife there.

Just have to boast a moment, i passed my Phd Viva on Tuesday! Whoohoo! That's a BFP and a Phd within a week of each other! Over the moon! However, the pregnancy thing doesn't feel real as apart from sore books i feel completely normal! The insomnia disappeared post viva so i think was just stress related. Wish i just felt a little more pregnant!

Not told anyone as dh too worried about losing it, shame though as will not get to tell my parents in person once we get back to zim , skype isn't as good for hugs!

The pfj .... LOVE python , in fact when TTC dh and i kept singing 'every sperm is sacred' from the meaning of life!

Anyhow, Sunday evening hugs to you all, sleep well!

momof2 i no the pain my cyst burst ended in a+e as thought it was appendix thats when i found out i was pregnant hehehe

mumof2 I have also been very warm Shock I don't even feel like I need to wear a coat despite the weather!

Do you check your temp? I'm about 1 degree Celsius higher than my usual !

Has anyone been feeling extremely warm/hot? Normally im pathetic and have heating on at home, but im actually pissed at OH for wanting it on!

I have taken to watching 16 and pregnant - try that for your hormones!
