Haha pseudo of course free first class tickets for every passenger in the bus Grin

Clapham it was mobile phones mainly but most bizarrely a coat hanger Shock imagine the shame.

You want to suck your cleaner, it's almost as good as the 4 minges Grin

MrsHoratioNelson · 23/08/2013 17:34

Get this - yesterday afternoon I bought a Wispa from the office canteen to see me through the long afternoon. I put it in the fridge cos I like my chocolate cold, but then got distracted. When I came to retrieve it this afternoon imagine my horror when I discovered that some git has EATEN HALF OF IT!!!!!

Not only have they EATEN HALF MY WISPA they are too stupid to destroy the evidence by eating the whole thing Hmm

Haylebop12 · 23/08/2013 17:37

Afternoon everyone,

I need to rant, about myself funnily enough. I had a nap, stupid stupid thing to do as I will definitely not sleep tonight. grrr so annoyed at myself even though it was lovely :)

Nat we didnt hear anything back from the agent after my feedback so im presuming the landlord wasn't prepared to do any work or they found a tennant. Im not overly bothered and have come to terms with the fact we are staying put until at least March. The only thing that is really bothering me is where the hell I'm going to put the xmas tree!

I want a cleaner!

DH has been let off with his snoring, a little. I overheard him chatting to his mum last night and she must have asked how I was. He said he was feeling bad that he could see how uncomfortable I was getting and didnt blame the shittest sleep ever on my restlessness but took half the responsibility, which never happens!

Tarlia I too would love a link to slow cooker recipes. Mine has only ever seen stews! Fortunately DH can cook, probably better then me so whilst hes on paternity I presume he will take over the cooking a bit.

Anyone else constantly warm? I feel like I have my own centra heating system built in!

3 shifts to go, I'm on lates sat/sun then all day tuesday. Work have very nicely organised a meal out (which we do every 3/4 months or so anyway) to coincide with my leaving. I feel like finishing work is another milestone in what feels like a never ending pregnancy. I think the next one is seeing the mw at 36 weeks to be told hes fully engaged.

Hope everyone is taking it easy.

MrsHoratio Shock
When we lived with DP's parents for a short time his dad took a bite out of one of my beautiful Forelle pears that I had in the fridge, decided he didn't like it and put it back....

MrsH disgrace, get the wrapper finger printed....If someone touched my chocolate at the moment my hormonal self would possibly rip their head off Grin

OrangeBlossom2 · 23/08/2013 17:43

What is it with all the food thieves this week!

Natalieand · 23/08/2013 17:44

Why would someone actually half of a chocolate? Surely they would have been better eating and replacing! Foolish foolish people. Order some sticky labels off eBay with your name on and label everything lol

MotherOfNations · 23/08/2013 17:45

Yes Orange but some positions are painful and since I told Dp about the bleeding he's been a bit reluctant incase he hurts me.

Flyer747 · 23/08/2013 17:48

Oh Nat my mum still buys iron on labels with my name printed on, and puts them inside all my work uniform Grin it's great though because people always try to steal your cardigan or work coat (as they've usually left there's on a plane) I've never had mine stolen in 13 years!! Mums rock Grin

MrsHoratioNelson · 23/08/2013 17:50

You know the irony of this? I work in a law firm Hmm

I may resort to comparing the teeth marks with dental records on Tuesday Angry

Haylebop12 · 23/08/2013 17:50

Don't talk about labels... Mum reminded me this afternoon I need to do all dd's uniform. Worst.job.ever.fact!

Flyer747 · 23/08/2013 17:52

MrsH stick a post it note on the next wispa with "DO NOT TOUCH" written on...

Natalieand · 23/08/2013 17:58

According to Facebook mamas and papas have up to 50% off of pushchairs and buggies over the bank holiday weekend xx

MrsHoratioNelson · 23/08/2013 18:04

No chance Flyer, I'm not entrusting my Wispa to that fridge again.

I'm actually in shock at the chocolate thief Shock - how very dare they!

MrsHoratioNelson · 23/08/2013 18:46

Panic over - turns out DH was playing a "joke"on me Hmm

Haylebop12 · 23/08/2013 18:49

Looks interesting shire I have iron on ones left over but may need to invest in that system!

Shirehobbit · 23/08/2013 18:58

I think 'D'H needs a little lesson on what humour is around a pregnant lady, MrsNelson !!

BridgetandtheHairyBrigands · 23/08/2013 18:59

Shire - I think I have those tags (or very a similar system) but through a different company. I've found them good for items like coats and P.E bags but - because they are lumpy- not so good for items straight next to the skin like t-shirts or vests. So I still use 'normal' name tapes too.

Plus, because people are looking for traditional name-tapes - sometimes teachers/assistants haven't realised that the items are named.

textbook · 23/08/2013 19:26

Yay Bowlfull it was my last day today too Grin I'm having at least 9 months also, it was wonderful to set my out of office and forward all the crap to my cover person!

I'm feeling very very lucky with my maternity package now also - I get 6 months full pay, so will be paying off last few remaining debts and saving for next years childcare. I'm saving loads by not commuting 50 miles every day, although I'm sure my wine expenditure will be increasing come October Wink

Now just need to get through dd's 6th birthday party on Sunday, then I can start to relax...

ananikifo · 23/08/2013 19:44

Thanks everyone.

Just to clarify, the receptionist was very nice. The dentist is free on the nhs but the hygienist only works privately. They need the number from the maternity exemption in case they get audited but I can bring it in six months. She also said we could pay for the hygienist by phone instead of DH coming to the practice but I needed him to drive me to work so that we could pick up my purse.

I used to panic (and cry) in the dentist or hygienist's chair so I'm sure they've written it all over my file but it's been more than a year since the last time and I thought that was all behind me. Everyone is always nice to me but I find that really embarrassing when I'm in that state.

Anyway I'm home now, found my purse at work, and don't need a dentist for six more months so everything is ok in the end. I'll catch up with the thread after eating.
