dangirl · 20/06/2006 20:45

Huge congrats to Jane on the safe arrival of little Evie!!!Smile

37+3 today. Not long now!

pinkdolly · 20/06/2006 21:40

Evening all,

Well, I have restocked on my raspberry tea. Had 5 cups today. Bit naughty as it says you should only have 3 on the box. But I cant see that you can overdose on it surely! (And I do think it's quite yummy) I know i'm sad.

My weight hasn't changed since last week which isn't too bad. I am relieved that I am not the only one losing weight. Thanx girls.

But I am quite proud of myself coz with my first pg I put on a whopping 3 stone. With this one it is under 2 stone (so far, not sure whether that will change by time LO is born). So I should have less to lose post-natal. Yippie.

I am 35 weeks today and have not packed my bag yet. Am I the only one being really lazy? I dont intend to use it anyway but the MW likes you to have one ready just in case you do get rushed in. I haven't even brought the stuff I need for my homebirth yet.

Am off to bed, coz my bum is quite numb, been sitting here for some time. Sleep well girls!

HumphreysCorner · 20/06/2006 22:00

Hmmm-why haven't you been watching the England match you two ??????? Wink

Night night

koshka1984 · 20/06/2006 22:01

Congrats Jane!!

Horrible, damp knickers crampy period pains all the time and constant trips to the hospital does not make me a happy bunny!

Urgh! I want to build my pushchair but DP and mum wont let me. DP has now put me on house arrest, and i still have not bought a nighty or got a towel for my labour bag!

Grrrrr....sorry ladies rant over.

I ve got 5 weeks left apparently, but i want to shout GET IT OUT!!! calm myself...

Congrats Jane on your little girl. What a lovely name

Have had a lovely day but very tiring. It's hard work watching tennis in the sunshine Got to watch Andy Murray today.

It's great as I know loads of people down there and everyone keeps telling me not to stand near them in case my waters break, etc, even the first aiders. Charming!!!! Have had some contractions over the past 2 days but they only seem to last for an hour or so and then disappear. Bump is feeling really low and heavy though this evening and have been going to the loo loads.

Jersey - Well done at getting your essay done. Managed to finsih mine too. Not sure how much sense it makes but it's in the post now.

Sounds like it could be between HC and bumpy next. Take care of yourselves everyone.

Morning ladies

Can you remember when I took a wee sample of DD's to the Drs over 2 weeks ago? Well, he rang this morning and said she has an infection so needs some antibiotics which I have to collect this morning-she is fine but who am I to argue?????? For goodness sake, it was ages ago!

While watching the match last night I was in loads of pain but deffo not contractions luckily. Heard that my hairdresser had the same sort of birth as my friend-an extremely short labour that put their bodies into temporary shock so am getting v. worried about this happening to me.

I think the C-Section gang will be next maybe followed by me.

Must get ready so have a lovely day and don't work too hard those of you still at work. My pay was rubbish yesterday as now on Maternity pay

Catch yas later.

Morning, with you on the crap pay HC as I'm also on maternity pay now .

Lillianna you sound promising as well, fingers crossed. Just got up as for the first time since I stopped work I managed to go back to bed after DH took DS round to the in laws for the morning. Bit zombied at the moment. No car at the moment as DH's windscreen broke beg of the week and awaiting a new one so he has my car this week. Need to finish the curtains for the boys room today as they need lining (bit thin!) so going to turn the old ones (cream) around to put behind the new ones as haven't any lining at the moment. Then drop my college library books back tonight when DH gets home with my car.

Hope there are some more babies on the way . Although my DH as said for me not next monday as I need to take his car for a service and not wed as he has a 2nd job interview. Not sure if anyone has told the baby yet!! .

Good luck for swift deliverys girls.

Morning Girls and Bumps

Sounds like some of you are really starting to stir! No signs here yet, though I wouldn't mind getting it all over with now. My tummy did feel very tight last night during the football, but no real pain or anything like that.

It's cutting it very fine now, as we were meant to be moving house at the end of this month, but still haven't exchanged contracts. If they don't do it this week, then they'll just have to wait til sometime in August. They know I'm ready to pop. Darned solicitors/estate agents/evaluators/surveyors....

Longest day of the year today! Tell me about it...

Rest up everyone

Annie 36+6

Twirl · 21/06/2006 14:01

Afternoon ladies. I have only just woken up ! Had a rough night as DH is ill (not by my standards, I have to say!) and kept me up all night snoring. He did take DD to nursery this morning and let me sleep in, but he hasn't gone to work today and is now under my feet...grrrrr. Huge congrats to Jane - I just love the name! So unless anyone pops in the next few days then oldiemum will be next with her section, swiftly followed by me and spub next week. I can't believe my section is a week tomorrow.....I feel quite sick at the thought of it, but excited too at meeting my little man. I'm just a squeemish person and don't relish the thought of being in hospital. My bet is on HC popping over the weekend though. Annie - we were due to move just before DD was born and had similar delays etc. In the end I got on the phone to everyone concerned, cried my eyes out and said that if we don't exchange within a week the deal is off...we exchanged the following day . Might be worth trying the hormonal woman tactic as it scares most men into action!!!

lilianna · 21/06/2006 17:34

hi girls went to midwife today. baby is ceph but free. Also measuring small again - 34cm and i should be measuring 37cm.
Just see what consultant has to say next week.
Hope everyone is ok.
take care, lilianna

maewest · 21/06/2006 19:27

Evening all - went round to friends house last night to watch the footy as DH was away. Bub very active due to the noise! Trying to prepare for my handover this week (have a week overlap with my replacement next week). Very odd feeling as I've worked for the compsny for 6 yrs and not completely sure that I want to go back... Also had yoga today, one of our 'graduates' came in to tell her birth story and show off her babe. Really straightforward birth and lovely little boy. Take care of yourselves ladies
