Debz99 · 13/07/2006 10:19

If anyone is looking for nursery bedding, moses basket, baby gym and many other things, Argos have got a sale on at the moment. I've no idea whether any of these things are worth getting as I've been given a lot second hand already, but it's perhaps worth a look.

welcome chubley

welcome back foghornleghorn, glad your wedding went well, im counting down the 6 weeks left till mine, and still havent recieved my dress off of ebay! im not impressed!

well baby kicking so well now i can see my tummy move when he really goes for it!

well gotta go, things are so busy around here, dd just woke up so gunna have to get her dressed (dont even ask if im dressed yet! lol)

oh quickly i still get ms but not as bad so i dont mind, with dd i had it really bad, practically all day every day till 38 weeks, sorry to put a dampener on things!!

fatbetty · 13/07/2006 21:49

Does anybody else find they are having difficulty making decisions lately? I'm usually not that bad but find I'm having a hard time making any kind of decisions! DH thinks I'm crazy. Trying to make decisions about DS1 school and finding it impossible.

LadyAnne1stTimeMum · 13/07/2006 22:39

Hello again

  1. Fatbetty - Yep know that indecisive feeling. Also finding myself doing daft things like finding myself about to put the freshly dried cutlery in the fridge... with the tea towel...

  2. Can't remember who originally posted it but don't talk to me about leg cramps - I'm often waking up with them. I found a pillow propped under my feet does the trick - trouble is - trying to stop said pillow falling out of bed whilst asleep (could do with a bigger bed at the moment as well - just doesn't seem enough room for me, DP, bump and pillows propping up various bits - might have to move DP as he's the only bit that can be moved)

  3. Weight - whilst visiting my mother's I braved the scales - my weight hasn't altered from the last time I weighed myself (November last year) despite nicely developing bump

  4. Baby moves - can feel mine quite regularly - haven't felt many distinct kicks - but I think baby had hiccups the other night - the sweet thing was DP was able to feel the movement. Baby seems to like surf music - we were in a restaurant with my work for a birthday meal and 'Wipe out' was played - I felt the baby really going for it. Oh well - if baby (with it's big feet) wants to be a surfer at least we haven't got far to travel for the beaches (can't say I'll be joining in though)

Anyhow hope everyone has a lovely weekend.. and here's a question for the pot ... any cravings identified - I'm rather found of custard, cheese and lemon/lime cordial in sparkling water (not at the same time I hasten to add - custard in sparkling water ... don't think so)

Anyhow - All the best - LA

podglet · 14/07/2006 08:08

Hi,

Lady Anne - LOL at custard in sparkling water
No cravings as such now but earlier on had a thing for sausage rolls and plain crisps and more lately, sour things like sour sweets and lime juice in water (snap)

Welcome back FHLH, glad you had a fab wedding but sorry to hear about the infection - hope all is better now.

Gosh mygirl, that does not sound like fun, sending lots of hugs and hope you and your DD's are better soon

Well, I'm off to lovely Rhodes tomorrow for a week. Hope everyone else has a good week and will try and carch up next Sunday.

Take care all

Lady Ann - I have had leg cramp in night. I went to a physiotherapy session for pregnant women and was told that if you waggle your ankles up and down for about 5 mins before you go to bed to get the circulation going you won't get cramp. This works for me at the moment so I would recommend trying it.

MeAndMyBoy · 14/07/2006 09:38

After all the talk over the last few days about leg cramps - I had one last night about 4 am!! had a couple of nights where it happened when I pg with DS, but none so far. Like the sound of the ankle exercises I'll be trying that. I was also told that they can be caused by not enough calcium so i will be adding calcium supplements to my current, iron and omega 3 intake.

Hope everyone has a good day - MGL will be thinking of you, hope today is a better day for you.

staceym11 · 14/07/2006 09:41

morning everyone, well do i believe this person on ebay who tells me my wedding dress has been sent but isnt sure what date?? im really stressing now, only got 6 weeks!

found dp asleep on the sofa at 3 o'clock this morning, apparantly i pushed him out of bed !

oh but yesterday he was announced as employee of the year at work so hes getting an award £1000 cheque and put forward for the regional employee of the year in Barrats in which if he wins you get £3000+spending money for a holiday or £10,000 wedding! lol probably wont be announced till the weekend after we get married or summit!

Debz99 · 14/07/2006 10:52

Morning Everyone

Baby has taken kicking to the next level now and doesnt seem to keep still !!! Very strange feeling being booted from the inside but you cannot see or feel it on the outside DP is really upset that he cannot feel anything yet, feels left out LOL

staceym11 · 14/07/2006 11:20

it wont be long debz, my little man can makehis kicks seen now, even through clothes, they all get there!

Debz99 · 14/07/2006 11:29

TBH stacey I'm slightly larger than most ladies and thought that because of this, it will take longer to see of feel on the outside he will just have to be patient LOL

staceym11 · 14/07/2006 11:34

im a bit bigger than i was with dd (was a skinny little size 8 17 year old) now being a size 18/20 19 year old i thought itd take longer but it doesnt appear to, but as iv had dd dp seems to know what to feel for etc! and i know the movement in my belly isnt just me digesting! lol

Debz99 · 14/07/2006 11:39

The only movements I'm feeling, although quite strong are the kicks and punches not feeling anything else yet. Just need to be patient LOL

Delia · 14/07/2006 13:14

hi all,

Stacey so angry for you about the dress i think i would be moaning everyday till it arrived! did'nt she send it recorded delivery for you so it can be tracked?

on the cravings side i can't say there is anything (other than lots of dairy in any shape or form!) that i want all the time however have developed a liking for chocolate ice cream which usually i can't stand!

Movements are quite sporadic for my bump still, although it has a major kick mum stage at least once a day and i felt the whole leg (i think) sweep the front of my stomach last night, very wierd.

NatalieJane · 14/07/2006 13:14
