Congats Sara and Debbsy, you are getting me all excited for my scan now!! LOL

Hope you had a good birthday as well Debbsy - as if it could have been bad finding that out!!

MS has deffo come back to haunt me, so that along with barely being able to walk, and the heart burn, and the swelling in my hands and feet, have put me in a crappy mood today. Why is it though that even when I am feeling horrible and all I want to do is climb back into bed, do I feel the need to get over to nursery with a big grin on my face and answer all of the questions and smile back at people? Why can I not just say bugger off and leave me alone for today please?!!! And if one more person says something along the lines of what a big belly I have I think I might clobber them, I know how bloody big it is, I have to cart it around with me everywhere I go, and why do they ask if it is uncomfortable? Do I look even in the slightest bit comfortable?????

..... ooops sorry , didn't mean for that to all come out, but now it has, I might just get through picking him up at lunch, without clobbering anyone!

I am off to do some deep breathing!! Hope everyone has a better day than me!!

DebbsyandBibby · 12/07/2006 09:24

nj it was the best birthday ever.
Good luck for your scan on friday i will be waitng with baited breath by my computer for you.

NatalieJane · 12/07/2006 10:11

Awww thats sweet of you Debbsy, but you might be waiting a long time, my scan is in the morning, but after it, DS has a puppet theatre and then a picnic and play in the park (all organised by his nursery) in the afternoon, and then we are making the 5 hour journey down to my mums in the evening, and we won't be back till Sunday, so unless I manage to squeeze on on Friday before we go out, I won't be on MN till probably Monday!

NatalieJane · 12/07/2006 10:13

Sorry, while I rememeber, I can't do links, but www.nurseryandtoys.com is a good website for, well nursery bits and toys really, if anyone is interested!

DebbsyandBibby · 12/07/2006 10:14

im on hols then pleease try and squeeze on on on friday anyway i had better move my ass havent even packed for cardiff yet lol

NatalieJane · 12/07/2006 10:22

I will try

harrogatemum · 12/07/2006 12:05

Hi all - Debbsy congrats on your little boy!! How exciting!!

ME and My Boy - I really love the name Charlotte as well and I like the fact that it gets shortened to Charlie. DH is called Charles and he quite fancies the idea of a baby Charlie if its a girl!

Fatbetty - I am feeling very few movements too and am 20+5 - I put it down to being so busy. Running around after twins and workign 4 days a week can be pretty exhausting, its only really the evening when I sit down for an hour that I feel a few flutters and bubbles bursting, hopefully soon the babe will start to get more active!

Have I've counted it right - 42 babies?

Added my location to the list. (although I am a Warwickshire lass originally - noticed a lot of Midlands babes present). Incidentally - is anyone else still getting morning sickness?

chubley · 12/07/2006 23:11

Hi all, can i be a late joiner? I'm due on 3 November, am 23 wks +5, don't know whether it's a boy or girl, we decided not to find out, same as last 2 pregnancies! I have DS age 3 and DD age 16 months and live in West Yorkshire. Just joined MN a few weeks ago but have been busy surfing through various threads to get a taste of what it's all about!

No, no more morning sickness thank goodness, luckily was never sick, just suffered that all-day feeling queasy that gradually disappeared, tho it took till about 16 wks to go away altogehter.

tangox3 · 13/07/2006 00:10

Welcome chubley!

No more morning sickness for me. Had it very mildly anyway so have had a lucky escape twice now!

tangox3 · 13/07/2006 00:25

Sorry about the alias, girls, it's me, berthablatherwick!

NatalieJane · 13/07/2006 08:43

Morning all,

Yes, MS has made a come back for me, although I am thinking it is where the baby is lying now rather than my hormones causing it. Even when I'm not pregnant, if I have some pressure on my diaphram then I get a yukky sicky feeling, I think the baby is taking turns in kicking my bladder and then turning upside down and kicking my diaphram - giving me the sickness feeling, which along with the heart burn seems a lot worse.

Is anyone else loosing weight? I haven't been on the scales since my first midwife appointment (scales are banned in our house!) but I am deffo loosing weight, I have had to take a bracelet off because it kept slipping off my hand, also clothes are getting bigger, my bump is as huge as ever but the rest of me is shrinking.

FoghornLeghorn · 13/07/2006 08:46

I'M BACK after 3 weeks away, have got so much to catch up on and so much to fill everyone in on, i don't know where to start.

Went away for hen weekend in Barcelona at end of June, was wicked, ended up in hospital 27th June with Kidney Infection, got married 1st July, absolutely awesome, best day of my life. Had 2nd scan yesterday, everything fine with baby, we didn't find out what we are having but I think girl and DH (first time i've written that, very odd) thinks boy - DD wants a sister now.

PHEW - well that's it in brief. Off to catch up now.

HopingCat · 13/07/2006 08:47

Welcome chubley! It's good to have more people joining us. Add yourself onto the stats list when you are next on. How are you finding this pregnancy so far? Are you in your 'blooming' stage now?

Well, for the first time in the night I woke up with cramp in my leg. I've heard pg women get this, and now it's happened I hope it doesn't happen again! Think DH is keen for it not to happen again too as he's not used to being woken up in the night. He's going to have to get used to it in November!

NatalieJane · 13/07/2006 08:50

Sorry how rude of me, welcome Chubbley

Debz99 · 13/07/2006 09:03

Welcome Chubbley

Never had morning sickness really just threw up when I cleaned my teeth (strange but true) and seemed like a waste of time really LOL. However the other morning whilst sitting drying my hair I had all the symptoms of being about to throw up, I rushed to the bathroom and hovered over the loo for about 10 mins, nothing happened and it slowly went away.
