seeing as the ;ast thread has over 1000 posts i thought it was time for a new one!

Mummy2Toby, DS prefers being in the smaller of the 2 rooms that we have - think he felt a bit overwhelmed in the big room. You could approach it from the angle of him choosing which stickers/decorations/quilt cover he'd like to decorate a little boys room in - maybe give him 2 or 3 choices that you are happy with for him to choose from.

Don't feel bad about it - he will have the privacy and cosiness of his own room and then could have toys in the nursery and use the larger floor space to play in during the day?

Hi all,
I had my mw appointment and all is fine. I managed to forget to ask for my MAT B1 form so am now trying to convince my GP surgery to ask the mw I saw to write it out for me today anyway even though I'm not there. Is anyone else getting very forgetful? Is this is pregnancy thing?

Thanks everyone, I think I will move him - it does make sense financially and he can then be involved with decorating it with whatever stickers he wants etc - also we won't have to redecorate the nursery then, because I am still happy with it and a little girl will be fine in a lemon room!
Well my mum & dad have taken ds to Southend for the afternoon ...... only the 5th time in 19 months I have been without him. I was supposed to do some housework but have found myself sorting out babygros that will be okay for the baby and sorting through ds's clothes to sell them - I have done one posting in the for sale section but I have loads and loads more to put on for younger babies but my battery on the camera ran out feel free to have a look
On a good note, I think we are down to 2 names now - Sophie or Charlotte - what do you all think?

We've choosen Sophie Rose if we have a girl so love Sophie lol. Charlotte is pretty too is it likely to be shortened to Charlie and do you like that as much?

HC glad the appointment went well and no your not the only one whose getting forgetful, I don't think i've ever been this bad, i'm usually the person people ask to remind them of things - not any more lol.

Mum2Toby both names are great, i liked Sophie for us but DH was not so sure.

hi guys... just got in from scan and everything was fabulous!!! i could watch the little baby on the screen for hours!! incredibly helful with positioning and posing for photos, i got about 15 pictures!!! am one happy mummy right now!! oh and she didn't even check the groin area so i couldn't even look.. 20 more weeks till i find out then!

Didn't you want to ask the flavour? We decided not to, but I sometimes wish I'd got them to write it on a piece of paper so if I get curious later on I could have a look then. I heard heart beat today and thought it sounded like a horse galloping, so if the old wives tale is right it's a girl, but I have a boy bump apparently. This LO does not want us to know, and it sounds like yours wasn't prepared to show you either!

Glad all went well Sarahlou its amazing isn't it !!!!! My DP was convinced he could see what flavour it was, and told me while we ere having the scan what he saw, he didn't want to know so sent him out the room when sonographer broke the news however, he was right !!! It took a whole 2 hours before his curiosity got the better of him LOL

NJ, I did get your book and many thanks for that!! DS1 really liked it, especially getting the big cuddle at the end.

I suppose I already have most things for the baby as I've saved everything from DS1 and DS2. I miss that excitement of going shopping for new things though!! It would be great if it was a girl then I could get the credit card out and do some damage (not like I could even afford it!). And I haven't had my second scan yet, so it almost doesn't feel real (silly thought I know!). Maybe I'm just too busy chasing after DS1 and 2 to notice a lot of the movements, and busy thinking of over things like schools and upcoming events. Those of you with 2+ kids already, do you find that?

still grinning away!! really really want to know if it's a boy or girl hoping cat, but the hospital policy is not to say.. dp did try to ask questions but she said she doesn't even bother to look as theirs no need to.. the scan was so great, we even saw the mouth opening and closing and it was sticking it's thumbs up again!! today was very exciting and has made all this seem real.. finallly!!

Well ours was fabulous too saw baby very very clearly she asked us if we wanted to know the sex and we said yes so we are having a little
