Hi All! Hope you all had a good weekend. I'm so excited to hear that many of you have found out the sex of your LOs! We have our scan on the 18th and still don't know whether to find out or not. I'm very curious to find out but don't think DH wants to really know.

Hope everyone had a good weekend.

Whoever mentioned that their baby is kicking them in the bladder I can completely understand how inconvenient it can be. My LO seems to turn round and kick inwards rather than outwards at inappropriate moments too.

Sleeping - I've had problems sleeping since it got warmer too, and have found I can only sleep on my right side as I get an indigestion type thing if I lie on my left. Problem with lying on one side all the time is that I eventually get pins and needles so am trying to prop myself up now with pillows/towel under bump.

Shopping - we have now built nursery furniture and it looks lovely. It feels a long time to wait now until we have anything else to do.

I've got a mw appointment tomorrow. Meant to be 24 weeks, but my date was moved so I'm actually only 23 weeks. Hope it doesn't matter. Anyone know if this is another appointment where they take blood?

Yes I am in Accrington, unforntunatly, unless anyone wants to meet in Accrington I won't be able to make any meet ups (I can't drive so I just can't get anywhere!) but I will add my location to the list incase anyone fancies a trip to good ol' Accy!

I have got my DS's first ever sports day later this morning, it doesn't seem to know if it is going to rain or not, so everyone is on tender hooks waiting to see if we are piling on the sun cream and hats, or brollies and wellies!

And I have got my scan on Friday, I am trying not to think about it too much, else it will be a very slow week!

I'd be happy to give you a lift somewhere, or to come and see you in Accrington NJ, as long as I've got access to a car. Would just need to make sure DH is working in Preston rather than anywhere else in the country on the day we are talking about. Otherwise it will be the train for me, and I have no idea if I could manage a baby on a train!

Sorry can't stay, the washing is calling me, very loudly, from the great big pile that has come from nowhere over the weekend! What is it about the washing pile, it doesn't seem to matter how many loads I put on, the pile is still always bigger the next time I go to it???! LOL Has anyone ever had an empty washing basket?

Yes I had an empty washing basket - for about 5 minutes in June then DH came back from a week away and it was full again lol

Hi everyone!

I've had some of kicks in the bladder...no fun, especially since things are getting a bit crowded down there.

I have a single mountain buggy and would recommend it to anyone as by far the best I have ever used. If you can possible afford it (we got ours in NZ so half the price), or can get someone to buy it for you get one (unless you have a tiny car). It can accommodate a carseat in with a special fixture, but I never bothered.

We were debating what to do when this little one comes along and have decided to go with the double MB as DS still has at least 2 hrs nap during the day and is happy to sleep in the stroller. Will probably get the kiddyboard as well. Covering all possibilities!

Hi just wanted to update you all my scan went fine have to go back as they could not see everything. A couple of factors, one is my weight because I'm slightly larger they had some trouble and baby was laying awkwardly so they could not see everything. However I do know I'm having a boy !

LOL MAMB, 5 whole minutes of no washing????? WOW WOW WOW!!!

fatbetty, yeah that'd be brill to meet up, me and dp take dd to priory park in reigate at weekends a lot when its warm ,went saturday acctually!

right have listed the 0-3 month section of my baby girl stuff, if anyone on here is interested i am quite happy to arrage swapping/discounts! you've all been brill support.

Well we got brave yesterday and put dd into a big bed (shes only 20 month) and she barely even noticed, except was really excited about going to bed ( had to get dressed and brush teeth in bedroom coz she wouldnt move!) and got out a few times (then i put the bed guard on so it kept her in, mean mummy!) then went to sleep. proud of her but still dont want her growing up this quick!!!

15 month, you are brave but a good decision probably with lo on the way! we've got the smaller room in our flat too and the kids will have the bigger one as dd has so many toys already i wouldnt fit this lo in the smaller room with her!

i think us moving her went quite well, she loves the 'you're a big girl' stuff! so didnt have to buy new stuff (good coz we couldnt afford it right now) but she did get to be there when we put it up and she thgouht it was brill. glad shes a relitively easy child, this one will prob be the spawn of satan!

hi guys.. well, i have my scan tomorrow, really looking forward to it now, roll on 3.30 tuesday!

beanie has started kicking with a vengeance now, i don't think it's actually kicking my bladder, more using it as a cushion resulting in presssure and me peeing every 5mins.. a friend of dp's was over the other night and they were actually timing how long i could last before my next trip to the toilet, they were being mean boys!! (apparently 6 mins was my best time)

congrats to debs on your little boy!! and everyone else whose found out the sex of their lo's... wish i could find out too, gonna concentrate very hard on the screen when the sonographer checks down their, see if i can see anything (or not!)

i really can't believe people have nursery's sorted!! i've not bought anything yet or barely looked! i have so much rearranging and organising to do in this house, i don't know where the clutter comes from... spent all of saturday doing some of this, threw out loads of stuff and sent 3 boxes and 2 carrier bags to the charity shop! now we need to sort out our storage issue put stuff away thats sat in boxes then think about a new cot!! i have decided on a double buggy though... want the phil&teds one, although i can't decide between the red or black one

and finallly.. i nearly had an empty washing basket on saturday, but i had a jumper and cardi that just wouldn't fit.... so close!!

Let us know how you get on Sarahlou. I got to the hospital only to be bursting for the loo so much I dribbled walking along the corridor so had to empty my bladder LOL Rushed to the hospital shop and bought two bottles of water and swallowed them in the hope everything would be ok. Think it may well have contributed to me having to return in a couple of weeks time for another scan. Think baby is resting on my bladder too feels like I'm bursting to go and then get there and produce an egg cup full !!!! Oh and he's kicking like crazy now and the feeling is very strange !!!!
