its so nice to hear from you! xxxx

NatalieJane · 27/06/2006 11:46

I am pleased that you are getting some sort of comfort from the thread Megg, I can't pretend to know how you feel but I wish you the very best of luck and happiness for the future.

Are you TTC again or is it too early for you to be thinking about that? (If you don't mind me asking?)

saralou100 · 27/06/2006 12:40

hi guys!!!!

lol, sex discussion!! i was incredibly rampant with ds, dp was scared of me (i thought it would be every mans fantasy) but this time so not interested, i've put it down to the fact i'm more tired from chasing a small person round all day (i swear he doesn't know how to stay still at the moment!!) and neither does the beanie in my belly! after going very quiet for about 2 weeks or longer i suddenly have a washing machine going on, it seems to be doing all sorts of acrobatics in their!

megg.. nice to hear from you.. we never forget the babies we lose, i try to make something positive from the time, by doing something special to remeber them.. the first year is the hardest time of all though, so be kind to yourself... and enjoy the new car!!!!

DebbsyandBibby · 27/06/2006 13:12

podglet · 27/06/2006 15:19

Hi Megg,
Hope you are doing ok, nice to hear from you. I had a m/c in November and although I now have this one, I have found reading the June Birth announcements and found they really helped. The due date (14th) was tough but the threads really helped.
Thanks for popping in on us - it's really kind of you to think of us.
Wishing you lots of luck - go get that car!

podglet · 27/06/2006 15:21

Debbsy - gosh your work sounds even worse than mine. Yesterday sounds horrible for you - hope you get to rest a bit more today.

Re: sex drive - mine hasn't really changed (has always been quite high) but I am finding it more uncomfortable as the weeks go by. Tiredness is playing a big factor too

Hope everyone else is ok,

DebbsyandBibby · 27/06/2006 20:24

megg just caught up with thread properly so sorry for your loss take care hun be kind to yourself and the very best of luck xx

NatalieJane · 27/06/2006 21:25

Is anyone else completely and utterly fed up of the football? I have gotten through 5 and a half books, spent hours on the internet spending loads of money that I wouldn't have done had I been allowed to watch what I want to watch for an hour, I think I can even hear football chants when I am asleep.... when is it going to end?????!! Or am I just a moaning old bag who should put up with a few football matches once every 4 years?

spinach · 27/06/2006 22:34

megg, so nice of you to keep your eye on us all. Hope you're okay and keeping well. xxx

As for sex... can't...LLP.. tbh, can't be arsed anyway... last time sex drive fine... it was a girl. I think its mainly that i have a toddler to chase after this time... just too tired!! how old do i sound?!

OP posts:
fatbetty · 28/06/2006 09:26

NJ, completely agree with you on the football. However, it's not just every 4 years - have the Euro Cup in between (isn't that right?). My DH is a fanatic and is watching every game that he can. He's gone this weekend (off to play football with the boys) and get the tv back to myself!!

As for sex, I'm glad I'm not the only one with a low drive. While pg with DS2 I was always up for it but not now.

NatalieJane · 28/06/2006 09:31

Yes FB you are right, there is Euro, and his beloved Bolton matches that he has to watch every season, and then all of the friendlies and qualifiers for the world cup and the euro one, he should count himself bloody lucky I only moan at him I think!! LOL

MeAndMyBoy · 28/06/2006 10:04

And if you add in the Under 21's, under 18's and every other under nn catagory it makes me want to throw something through the TV. Although I have to admit that I am enjoying the World Cup and actually had it on voluntarily while he was out the other night

NatalieJane · 28/06/2006 10:13

Oh he isn't really interested in the under ?? ones! I like to watch the round up programs, and I do enjoy the England games but I am not interested enough to watch two countries play that I have never heard of before!!

It is like in the premiership, my DH supports Bolton and Bolton fans and Man Utd fans absolutely hate each other, to the point where my DH would NEVER choose to wear a red t-shirt because it is 'Utd's colour', and yet he has to sit and watch Utd's matches because he says he wants to watch them loose, but even when they are winning he still sits and watches.... I don't get the mentality, if you don't like something, don't watch it.....! LOL

...And then he has the guts to turn around and say Big Brother is crap! LOL

MeAndMyBoy · 28/06/2006 10:17

DH is a united fan (umm maybe I shouldn't admit that or we will be hex'd from the NJ house )
and I get so booored with all the matches in the season, and he's already getting excited about the start of it. Ho hum. I don't really watch TV so DH can't really take the micky out of what I do watch I just take the micky out of him about it. DS enjoys wimbledon as well as the rugby and footy so at least I get a bit of variety there lol

NatalieJane · 28/06/2006 10:27

Well, I only have to put up with the football, I suppose I should count myself lucky!

saralou100 · 28/06/2006 11:55

good news nj, no footie for the next 2 days!!bit of a break before the 1/4 finals

NatalieJane · 28/06/2006 11:57

No that just means we have to watch Sky Sports News, even though it is on a loop that runs over and over but we still have to watch it in case anything has changed....! LOL I really should stop moaning it is only for a few weeks!
