Even despite the growth spurt these ladies have experienced....I still can barely fill a C. Blush. Probably from feeding the other two for a grand total of 4 years....they just suck it all outta you, I tell ya.

FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 16/11/2012 21:10

4 years is impressive trumpets I wanted to get to 2 years but mine both self weaned before then.

Ugh I have a headace and super-thirst on today. Than and my refound ability to not be able to last more than an hour without needing a wee. I think that shall be my superpower - the power to drink gallons of water in one sitting and still be thirsty.

In the plus side depending on how you look at it I have an ache down my right thigh, so am now certain that my back ache is the start of sciatica again but at least I can stop be paranoid about it ring anything else.

Le sob! Nausea-free for the past 10 days....until right now! 2 hours before the babysitter gets here and we are heading out for DH's birthday. . This isn't fair! I'm so complaining right now, I thought I was all done with this!

MrsBri · 16/11/2012 22:54

Told you we shared a back...my sciatic nerve went this evening, Frustrated, but on the left. It hurts. :-/

Nightmare, trumpets. Hope it buggers off.

Jojoba1986 · 16/11/2012 22:54

Sounds like we're all feeling a bit worse for wear! Chicken soup & relaxing weekends all round!

DS had a good afternoon sleep but has just woken up grizzling again! Sad We're being really mean & leaving him to settle himself but he's just lying there whimpering! Poor little boy!

Lorelei353 · 16/11/2012 23:17

Ah so I was just an early starter with the sciatic pain. Sorry ladies. Welcome to my world. Sad

Jojoba1986 · 17/11/2012 06:46

Watching The Hoobs again & the question today is 'why is Tula being so clumsy?' My first thought was that she must be up the duff! I can't stop giggling & trying to decide who's her hooblet-daddy! Grin

Jojoba1986 · 17/11/2012 06:48

(I'm thinking it's Ivor, Groove seems to be cross-dressing today...)

FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 17/11/2012 09:21

Hoobs the daddy jojo?

OP posts:
Jojoba1986 · 17/11/2012 09:24

Lol! Grin It's ok, she was being clumsy because she was rushing to finish her painting! No hooby-babies!

LibrarianAli · 17/11/2012 09:29

You can tell who already has kids on this thread. I just had to go and Google 'Tula + Hoobs'!
We are visiting our fabulous child-free friends this weekend (actually they are us 3 months ago but w better jobs!) I didn't think we could excuse me not drinking for a whole weekend but was a bit nervous about telling them, but DH slipped it really casually into a conversation about someone else not having a baby, he just said "Well, we are" and they were speachless & then v happy.
I'm so glad it went well. They're the 1st people we've announced to and we do so much together but usually it centers around fine-dining, good wine and cocktails! Now I can go shopping to Bicester Outlet Village (our planned outing while the boys are at footba) and dont have to pretend to buy normal clothes, I can buy smocks to my hearts delight

Jojoba1986 · 17/11/2012 09:35

Actually Ali I discovered Hoobs looong before DS came along! I had depression a few years ago & was mostly nocturnal & often still awake when The Hoobs came on in the morning! It's fab! Grin Enjoy your smock-buying trip!

FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 17/11/2012 19:53

Evening all. How's everyone doing this evening?

merrygiant · 17/11/2012 21:02

Evening! Frus I'm doing great this evening, we had our scan today and all was well! Annoyingly, I was not far enough along to do the Down's screening, but saw baby do a massive buckaroo flip, which was so cool! Gonna go back next week for a second go at the measurements, FX.

Welcome onto the bus Ali, nice to have you along for the ride! It's so fun telling people isn't it? We did the text rounds this afternoon, although my Mum is in deepest darkest Wales today and so didn't get any of my texts. Instead of ringing me, she took this as bad news and spent the whole afternoon panicking, poor thing. Still, nice to be able to put her mind at rest when we finally hooked up.
And told my bro too, who was really sweet and happy for us. Its really starting to get real now. Saw friends who are due in December last night and they've got the nursery/pram/wardrobe full of ironed babygros - the whole works. OH trying on their sling with a doll in it was a sight to see!

Roll on 2013...

Jojoba1986 · 18/11/2012 05:14

Wow, everyone was quiet yesterday! We took DS over to my parents' house yesterday & have left him there for 24 hours! It's the first time we've left him overnight & while I know my parents will look after him & he probably won't even notice, I still can't help feeling a little anxious! Blush

FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 18/11/2012 08:22

jojo it's so hard the first time isn't it, even when you know they'll be fine. I hope you got a lie-in and didnt automatically wake up early.

merry I'm very jealous of your scan, and pleased that all was okay. Grin at your DH carrying a doll in a sling.

It is very cold and frosty in the park this morning. But I still can't convince a shivering dd2 to go home and come back later when it's warmer (and we have gloves) so dds are squealing and shouting and waking all the locals up.

OP posts:
MrsBri · 18/11/2012 08:31

You'll be popular with the locals, Frustrated...but they're probably the kind who moan if kids stay indoors all the time too!

I'm fed up...sleeping like utter shit and nausea almost all the time are dragging me down :-( And my boobs are clearly planning world domination, the amount they're growing. We are measuring them later. They are now getting in the way in bed. Time was I used to be able to get my arm under them to get into a comfy position. Not now :-/

Yay for the scan, Merry :-) I want one of those sling things. Was it good?

Jojoba1986 · 18/11/2012 08:45

MrsB I'm feeling moany too! I managed to go to sleep earlier than usual but woke up at 3.30. Felt fine when I woke up but now my feet are icy & I feel sick! DH seems to be refusing to wake up & take care of me! Sad

MrsBri · 18/11/2012 09:21

I've had to get up and sort breakfast myself too. He isn't that hungry and not inclined to get up it seems.

I'll make dinner now, as we are having lamb casserole. Gets it done while I still have some vague impetus to do it.

Nausea has passed for now...wonder how long for!

FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 18/11/2012 10:05

Put your cold feet on his back jojo that'll wake him up.
I'm not sure if I'm going to do the sling thing this time, dd2 wouldn't like it

Sorry you're feeling rough mrs

I'm feeling rather sicky today.

OP posts:
MrsBri · 18/11/2012 10:18

How's your sciatic nerve, Frustrated? Mine is very painful :-/

FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 18/11/2012 11:09

Sciatic nerve isn't too bad today thanks *mrs8 I'm sorry yours is playing up. My niggles are all round the front today.

Hello bus,

Hope you don't mind me popping by to say hello, and merry, so pleased for your scan news. Sounds like this one might be a gymnast?!

Hope you are all doing well despite the discomforts x x

MrsBri · 18/11/2012 11:32

Don't be daft...it is lovely to see you.

How are you doing? I hope DH is spoiling you.

Pop back whenever you feel up to it. xx
