You poor thing jaqueline what a scary thing to go through. Hope your scan goes well, I'm sure it will be fine and you'll get to see your LO again.

Congratulations on your little baby boy Floss. Hope the BH settle down and the morning sickness stops very soon.

aw Jacqueline that sounds awful, at least you have your book & get an early scan though, hope it goes well & finally puts your mind at ease.

I woke up really early & ended up getting up cos my knees, back & hip ached... I feel like am about 100, as soon as I started walking around felt ok though

everyone who has and their scans congratulations sorry I can't check names on here.
Babe gave me a scare yesterday had a couple of decells on the moniter last night so they scanned me and turns out babe must have just been catching the umbilical cord, but they are taking no chances so I'm still being monitored every couple of hours-heartbeat sounds like the train when it goes over southwark bridge as you are standing underneath! 22+5 today. Am seeing my consultant again later so fingers crossed he is more optimistic now everything seems (touches wood a hundred times) to have stabilised a bit.

I'm sitting in waiting room waiting for mine at the moment and in suddenly very nervous! Can't wait to check all ok and that he is still a he haha! Shall report back asap

Mama what a little monkey you have there!! I'm so glad all is going well at the moment. Can't believe you're almost at the magic mark

Yah! mama1980. Ds2 was born in Southwark so the train over the bridge was a happy memory! What a cheeky monkey for the decels. I am glad they are keeping a close eye on him though.

Thanks cadmum yeah their not even allowing me to try to stand/move anymore, taking No chances. I love southwark market I often take my children there in the summer, buy food, eat on the benches overlooking the Thames

Woke up this morning to a layer of snow and it's still coming down. That's me confined to barracks until March. :(

Glad to hear you are being well taken care of, mama! Stay sitting and keep baking that boy. Not long until you can heave a sigh if relief and know that he stands a good chance of making it on the outside. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Jacqueline what a shock for you-hope to hear good news from you soon.

Thanks to you, bunny and username for SPD advice. GP was very sympathetic this morning, suggested SPD and thinks physio is the answer. Now on the third phone number to try and get a physio appointment as nobody seems to know how to refer me. Will hopefully get it sorted next week.

My consultant didnt really say much different today just told me to hang on really, like I'm gonna be focusing on doing anything else!

I have one picked out now I know we're having a boy. I confess I keep lying to my husband and expressing interest in ones he suggests and adding them to the shortlist. All the while knowing the real shortlist is a shortlist of 1. (Once he sees me go through labour, I know he'll agree to anything I want :o)

Hello ladies,

Sorry for the delay it has been a busy/long day. We left the hospital at about 3, picked DD up from school and went to get something to eat.

So I had a scan and the placenta is all ok which is good as this was what they were worried about and baby is growing perfectly

However, some of you may remember that at my 12 week scan a few abnormalities were spotted (an enlarged bladder and a cyst on the umbilical cord) well the bladder is all normal, Hurrah! However, I now have 3 seperate cysts on my cord that need to be looked at further so my 20 week scan has been moved from 6/12/12 to 10/12/12 as I need to travel to another hospital and see the area consultant.

I'm sure it's all ok though so I'm not going to worry about it at all. I have been told to rest for the next few days and eat as much chocolate as I can

Now for the fun stuff...DH couldn't come to the scan with me as he had the dc's with him so I went alone and the sonographer told me she had been able to see what we were expecting and so I got her to write it on a little card and seal it in an envelope.

I gave it to DH to open tonight whilst we were having dinner and we are having a ........ BOY

so Happy to hear all went well And babe is growing nicely-you deserve all the chocolate you can eat after the few days you've had!
And a boy congratulations what a lovely way to find out.

Mama also glad to hear your little one is still nice and strong I have no idea what your going through but your an incredible inspiration that's for sure, your little one is going to be an incredible little baby for sure!

Anyone going to share names?! Especially boy ones as we are well and truly up the creek so too speak I had about 5 on my list dp liked none he had 1 on his and I didn't find that suitable for us either lol! Girls we had hundreds and agreed on a few but obviously can't give our boy a girls name cos that'd be cruel! X

Missmuffet what sort of names do you like? Traditional? Unusual? Biblical?

Ooh I don't know why category they come under they are all prob in top 100 list tho

My face was Oscar I know no one called Oscar neither does ds1 so thought that would be nice as I had no one to relate it to good or bad

I also liked max, Toby, Henry, Freddie, Corey, Bobby, and Harrison

Dp liked Joshua and i dont dislike it i really dont but I know so many Joshua's there are 3 at my work at the moment and like a billion at ds school so its def a no for me!

And no matter how much I look at books and apps and lists etc I can't find any more that I like or half as much as the ones I already spent hours picking!

I will possibly follow flamings suggestion and wait till the head pops out and tell dp that's what his name will be see him disagree with me then hehe!!
