Hi Jaffa, welcome - you have the same due date as me! How are you feeling?

Catbag · 19/08/2012 17:30

Hi Jaffa!

I too have no desire to become PeePotBag :o

ValiumQueen · 19/08/2012 17:42

You're all taking the pee now! Grin

horseylady · 19/08/2012 17:58

Peapot lady has a kind of ring to it.....up until my last appointment I was given a fresh pot. This tine it was rinsed and returned, nice!!

It's hot!!!! Just ridden, fab ride just very hot!! Horse was fab, I love days like this!!

DesperateHousewife21 · 19/08/2012 18:24

Well I'll join the pee pot survey, mine gets rinsed out and given back to me wrapped in a paper towel.

Had a good day today, went down to the beach, had chips in the harbour walked along the seafront and saw a rescue training exercise by the helicopter coastguard.
Had alot of candy floss too Grin

Catbag · 19/08/2012 18:30

Apologies in advance if tmi, b ut it would seem my week of eating and craving crap have caught up with me. Spent an hour on the loo trying to have a bowel movement that wasn't dissimilar to passing a baby. No more sweets for me, I'm back to lentils lunchtime tomorrow :(

ValiumQueen · 19/08/2012 18:33

catbag you poor thing.

Catbag · 19/08/2012 18:50

Meh, it's my own fault. It's all just more excuse to be fed up I think. I've got half a freezer full of spinach and lentil dhal that I made when I was feeling a little more industrious so I'll just start eating that at lunchtimes and hopefully my ruined rear will start feeling better by tomorrow!

StuntNun · 19/08/2012 18:54

Is anyone else having painful contractions? I have had a few Braxton Hicks contractions so far this pregnancy but they didn't hurt, my stomach just went completely rigid for a short while. Since Friday however I have had a few 'proper' contractions where I've been having to do my breathing. I've also had pain in my lower back the urge to get up and walk around that I would experience in labour. I'm a bit worried that this baby's trying to arrive early to the point where I've started carrying my antenatal notes with me, rather than just leaving them at home.

stunt please call triage and tell them that. Best be checked IMO

applepieinthesky · 19/08/2012 19:06

Best to get it checked out stuntnun. Nobody will accuse you of wasting their time if it turns out to be nothing but perhaps you need to be monitored for a while just to be on the safe side?

DesperateHousewife21 · 19/08/2012 19:15

stunt agree with the others you shouldnt be in pain that you have to breathe through. Give them a call you need to be checked.

Although saying that I've overdone it on the walking today and feel achy and crampy in the lower bump.
Hopefully resting this eve will help ease it.

horseylady · 19/08/2012 19:30

No stunt. Not even sure if I've had a bh or if it's the baby moving? Nothing prolonged or painful apart from my shoulder muscle spasming but the cause of that is my bra is too small lol!! Have just bought bigger bras!! I'd def get yourself checked. My friends had her baby 5.5 weeks early. Good weight though and hugely short labour!!!

NervousAt20 · 19/08/2012 19:33

stunt I would phone and just make sure they might want to check you over and make sure everything is okay!

Catbag · 19/08/2012 19:34

Stunt What they said ^^

eversomuch · 19/08/2012 19:42

Sounds worth getting looked at, Stuntnun. I hope it turns out to be nothing serious.

Welcome, JaffaSnaffle. I've added you to the Stats List, which you can find here:
www.mumsnet.com/Talk/antenatal_clubs/1485512-November-2012-Stats-List?msgid=33631756#33631756

I've also tallied up the numbers again and we are now collectively expecting:

24 Boys
15 Girls
16 Surprises
22 Unknowns (ie scan results weren't posted or I missed it)

FatimaLovesBread · 19/08/2012 19:45

Stunt I agree with everyone above.

WRT pee pots, they chuck mine in the bin and ask me to get a new one from reception each time. We also use them at work so I have a plentiful supply of pee pots Grin

DH has treated me to a new laptop today seeing as my old one is broken. Now need to try get it to work long enough to transfer things on to my new one.
We've also sorted the nursery furniture out just need to add the teddies and decoration and we're still missing a cot

Catbag · 19/08/2012 19:49

Ooh Everso, how do you update the info on the stats list? Do you just copy and paste it into the comment box?

Sophiathesnowfairy · 19/08/2012 20:07

stunt I hope you are at the hosp. Let us know how you go.
Xx

kissyfur · 19/08/2012 20:13

stunt I agree pls get yourself checked out, they will probably do one if those tests that they did on me last week, sure all will be fine but best to get checked Smile

kirrinIsland · 19/08/2012 20:19

Thanks DH :)

Stunt hope you are ok

welcome Jaffa - I know you from another thread, although I haven't been on there in a while.

I had a lovely day at a horseshow, watching was fine for me though - credit to horsey lady for still riding, I really don't think I could even get on at the moment! (which is fine as my horse is lame anyway :( )

horseylady · 19/08/2012 20:28

:( which show kirrin? I was at equifest wed to fri (not competing sadly). Saying that I can't see me doing much showing loving dressage ATM and if I can get stupid horse to jump once baby is here it'll be ok!! Might do workers maybe will see. Would love to have a go at eventing but would be gobsmacked if she turned out bold enough. Maybe after a few days hunting. Anyway mastering collected and medium canter and trot.

eversomuch · 19/08/2012 20:38

catbag Yes, you can just copy the most recent post, paste it into a new comment box and edit before you post. Or send me any changes and I'll edit it the next time I update.

kissyfur · 19/08/2012 20:40

Oh and welcome. jaffa and osterleymama Smile

MissMummy1 · 19/08/2012 20:50

stunt do go and get it checked out! yw had a similar thing last week by the sounds of it and it turned out to be nothing but worth getting seen just for peace of mind.

Horsey I'm with you. Don't know if the occassional cramps I get are bh, muscle stretching or just general 'i've done too much pains'. I'm a bit of a wuss but if they got to the breathing funny stage I'd definitely make a fuss until it was checked out.

Been at yw's gorgeous niece and nephew's joint first and third birthday party today. Lots of baby cuddles and cake ! Got home about 4 oclock though and must have dosed off as woke up 20 mins ago to a panicked phonecall from dh wondering why I hadn't picked him up. Shock OOPS! Must have worn myself out with all this morning's nesting.. Blush
