child so sorry to hear your news. Even if it wasn't entirely a surprise, it's still a horrible thing to go through. Hope you and dp/dh are getting lots of support. ((hugs))

ChildOfThe1980s · 19/08/2012 20:46

Thank you, we have lovely friends and family.

Child - I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope you're being well looked after and I hope you will be back on the boards in the not too distant future. Look after you for a while for now.

GummiberryJuice · 19/08/2012 20:56

Shield glad you've just been busy, I'm coming round to the idea of LV instead of RVH so might be abit disappointed if they refer me on again

kurlyvoice · 19/08/2012 20:57

child, I'm so sorry about your mc. Look after yourself - very sad to lose you from here.

MrsR, sorry you're having a worrying time. Get thee to the EPU or A&E or whatever your area does and don't leave until they scan you. Hoping all is ok.

ThreeForTea · 19/08/2012 21:16

Child so so sorry to hear your news. :( Sending lots of love, look after yourself x

Em2010 · 19/08/2012 22:18

child so, so sorry for your loss. I hope you have lots of love and support around you.

I'm off to bed now. Have been mooching around in maternity wear all weekend so tomorrow will tell, when I put my work clothes on, if I've actually gotten any bigger!! Want to keep it a secret for another week at least so may have to dig out a big cardi in this heat ...

Just been watching one born and crying my eyes out!! Oh dear.

Night All!

Em2010 · 19/08/2012 22:21

Sorry, also meant to say to mrsr that hopefully bleeding has subsided for you now and fx that everything will be ok for you. I know so many people who have had bleeding in early pregnancy and then gone on to have gorgeous, healthy babies. I'm sure you will be one of them.

mandasand · 19/08/2012 22:48

Child, I'm so, so sorry to hear your news and to lose you from this and the 'graduates' thread. I hope you can take some time to look after yourself - I know it's been a really worrying time for you over the past few weeks. Take very good care of yourself, and here's hoping you have news of a nice and strong BFP to share very soon. xx

tiddleypompom · 20/08/2012 06:21

child I was very sad and sorry to read of your news. Thinking of you and like others have said - look after yourself & I wish you a trouble free pregnancy next time round. Hugs to you and your family x

HermioneBoo · 20/08/2012 07:00

So sorry to hear your news child I hope you have plenty of support and fx for a healthy bfp soon x

HermioneBoo · 20/08/2012 07:05

Whoever said that that they were overwhelmed by the pg symptoms, you sound like me! I've had a week off work and tbh when I'm at work I try to hide away and have to have help. The nausea keeps me in bed or on the sofa and going out for a couple of hours means I need a nap - I fell asleep in my lunch break at work last week! I was walking to work and back but I need a rest on the journey (it's only a mile away!) and climbing stairs is ridiculous. I was running, cycling and swimming two months ago and I feel like an old lady! However, all of that and I'm still excited, symptoms are a small price to pay.
Oh and staring at screens close up makes me feel really nauseous, or anything close up really, but tv is fine. I thought I'd catch up on my reading but all I've been able to do is watch lots of films and clear out the sky box of old recordings - finally watched series two of Downton Abbey, that was on before Christmas last year!

bbface · 20/08/2012 07:19

Hi all, I am one of the early ones but tailed off because I have a toddler and intense nausea and then gastric flu!

I can't keep up with the posts so I will bow out, but just wanted to assure those suffering from nausea that it WILL go and when it goes it is WONDERFUL. I woke up ten days ago and poof.... Gone. I was 10 wks plus 6 days at the time. Replaced with a lovely feeling of well being and incredible energy. I had been feeling terribly guilty about not giving my boy the attention he is used to, and I was often short with him, simply because I felt so rough. But all that gone again and not even the tiniest hint of nausea has surfaced again. So be strong, and if really bad pop to the docs and they will give you phenergan. They gave it to me for the gastric flu but said it also helps with pregnancy nausea. It helped!

Good luck to all xxx

tiddleypompom · 20/08/2012 07:29

Good luck to you too bb - lovely to hear from you, and that you're feeling so much better! Do pop back when you've a moment - at least to tell us of your new baby :)

backwardpossom · 20/08/2012 08:32

child very sorry to hear your news. Take care x

Oh tiddley - too late to avoid piles here - have plenty of them left over from DS! Wink I managed a wee poo yesterday and feel much better for it. Am back on the All Bran for breakfast now, so I'm sure all will be fine!

11 weeks today...

Child I am very sorry to hear your news. Make sure you look after yourself and don't rush back to work or anything else before you are ready. (((Hugs)))

BB good to hear from you again and that everything is good. I know what you mean about keeping up, but I agree with Tiddley that you should pop in every now and then to keep us updated with your news - we'll always be glad to hear from you!

Visiting a friend and her DS this morning and then the epic packing session in preparation for the epic journey home (at last!)

Two weeks until my scan!

pipsicles · 20/08/2012 08:54

Sorry, two weeks until aout half the thread's scans!!!

sundaesundae · 20/08/2012 09:00

possom I am 11 weeks today too! Scan is still a week and a half away, now having to get up for a night wee at 3AM (annoying!!) and still got the nausea. I had digestive biscuits for dinner, they do help for some reason!!

Away in Huddersfield for the next three days, I could very much do without it, but work is work! At least I will have my meals cooked in a nice looking Holiday Inn.

I had dreams last night of playing in the garden with my children, very odd!
