SpottyTeacakes · 03/07/2012 20:19

Oh ivana I hope you feel better soon, I should think the antibiotics will kick in quite quickly, hopefully you will be able to have a good sleep tonight

emilyeggs · 03/07/2012 20:21

I've just added a message on the last to thread introducing myself and then realised you all moved to hear... never mind, my name is Emily I'm 14w4d due 28 dec and over the moon! I have a stepson and stepdaughter dd5 ds11. I lost a baby
near Xmas and had an erpc on the 23 dec. I was so nervous all the way up untill my 12 weeks scan but was so happy to see a lovely little baby on the screen
Grin I shall be looking to all you ladies for tips on what a first-time mum should buy as I haven't a clue!

emilyeggs · 03/07/2012 20:30

Ps, COD I've had a day just like you but it's reassuring to hear this is normal

Hi folks, been reading to keep up ( just) but never get chance to post!
Please can someone add me to Scotland list - am in Ayrshire!- thanks.

Brooke- weird dreams happen to me too. Isn't it peculiar when you wake after a really vivid one and it takes a while to register what's going on! I think it's quite common.

Sorry to hear about those having work probs. been quiet my end because although I'm glad to have job and usually quite enjoy it I had to go to union about my boss- complete bully. Anyway school holidays now!!

Been feeling movement for while now (dc2) but was so early I wasn't convinced even though I'd felt it before!!

Just been out for huge family meal and bump is huge- I was showing really early, now blinking massive and am curled up in bed hoping to sleep soon- night All!

Bellaboo123 · 03/07/2012 20:48

Hope ?ou feel better soon ivana!

Welcome Emily - in a first timer too and haven't got a clue what to buy either...planning on making a comprehensive list tomorrow and running it by you all to see if ive forgotten anything/gone OTT!

itsMYNutella · 03/07/2012 20:51

I dunno minipie having left London (I miss it sooo much ) not quite two years ago I can only assume that Christmas babies are perhaps not in vogue or London is working towards becoming a baby free zone?

I'm kidding!!!

And thanks Cakebump for updating my foreigner status on the stats list :o thought that was really sweet of you!

Blimey I pause for breath and have a bizillion posts to catch up on. I've been feeling a bit weak and funny today...drank plenty and vegged relaxed on the sofa, went with the eat little and often approach but still not quite right... But I am hungry... what else do I have in the kitchen Hmm

itsMYNutella · 03/07/2012 20:54

ooohhh Bella that's very organised of you :o I'm looking forward to your list. Gosh I have no idea still... I think some of it makes sense but arghhh I'm still busy being terrified I think Shock

emilyeggs · 03/07/2012 21:02

SpottyTeacakes · 03/07/2012 21:10

Don't worry about the snot thing, you can just suck it out if they get a blocked nose that bad Wink

Bellaboo123 · 03/07/2012 21:13

emilyeggs · 03/07/2012 21:14

PrunellaDeVille · 03/07/2012 21:15

as ever i can't be sure whether gloucestershire's south west or midlands - Barbeasty - found out today there's an NCT nearly new sale at gloucester on saturday morning just in case you're interested/nearby.

brooke89 · 03/07/2012 21:43

Can someone add me to the list under south west, Devon

itsMYNutella · 03/07/2012 21:45

ha ha ha ha at all the face-sucking mothers sucking the snot from the nose of their newborn.... but then I have no idea if perhaps people are being serious Hmm

I'm off to search the streets for forgotten bags full of cash/ buy a lottery ticket to help pay for:
1 the nanny I obviously need
2 oh yeah all the baby stuff
3 a cleaner (well come on, why not?)
4 family therapy!
5 a 5kg jar of Nutella (check my pics, they exist... was soooo tempted to buy one!)

itsMYNutella · 03/07/2012 21:47

oh and I almost forgot:
6 a Gin subscription a very large bottle of Gin and an appropriate amount of (slimline) Tonic and limes
