Mydaydream my scan is 7th august too and seems sooo far away :( we wont be finding out the sex though although dg is adamant he wants to know ....

Im generally feeling loads better althoughbeen suffering with terrible trapped wind the last 2 days :( very painful got MW a week on wed cant wait to hear the heart beat as still no definate movement and its making me nervous

Sorry missed that last post - Elliebelle, how many weeks are you? My 20 week scan is 8th August, I'm 16 weeks on Monday and I haven't felt anything yet. You usually don't until about 20 wks.

I want to find out but I want to keep it a secret. But since our super secret baby names got out I don't think DP could keep the sex secret.
Just took some bump pictures but they just look like before the weight loss pictures rather than 16 week baby bump. I'm a lot bigger than I was at 6 and I can no longer suck any of it in.

Knotty im 16 weeks on monday too :) are you due 24th? I think i was just expecting to feel rhings a bit earlirr with it being dc 3. Are you going to find out the sex? I was at dd's scgool bbq tonight too only managed a sausage anf 2 buns though :)

Spotty You have a lot to answer for. Hubby is being made to bring either fish & chips or Chinese home after his night out (well, he's on his way back now) CANNOT WAIT for the food! Have totally taken advantage of him being tipsy as he usually wouldn't agree to this sort of food!!

Eggs Not sure how sugary it is but have you tried soda water and lime? I just discovered it last week and I find it much less sickly than the usual soft drinks.

So sorry to hear about OH's job news, Pidj :( I will keep everything crossed it works out soon and he finds something else.

Our scan is 3 weeks today - at 20+5 - cant wait! (Nervous too of course - as usual)

We had our Chinese tonight but after today's scam, DH is very keen on trying to save up enough for a scan later on in the pregnancy so were stopping luxuries!

Hi knotty - yes it is 1010 this morning been wide awake since 530 not excited much!!!!

Toying with the idea of 4d but think I've decided it's a waste of money this early on - also wondering do I just go with
the gender scan or do I ask them to do an anomly scan where they check everything out but what if they find something im going stress all weekend until I can see the mw at hospital on Monday - too many decisions being pregnant!!!

Oooh and Eggs what about a non alcoholic beer if they sell it. I'm not even a big beer fan but had the odd one and it's just felt lovely to have a pretend grown up drink!

I don't think you will learn anything new from them (you'll certainly learn more on here) but if I was having dc1 I would probably do it. I might do a breastfeeding one or something

bella good luck, I saw babba in 4d for a minute or two, and have two pics, but no I wouldn't bother having a full 4d now, limbs are skinny and you can't see much detail on the face.

Congrats on the boy news honey how exciting. We need some more boys to balance out these girlies! (I may have bought some more sleep suits and vests and compiled a maaaasssivee 'wish list' on amazon - serial shopper strikes again )

spotty I'm so glad I didn't see these posts about take aways last night.. But I feel a trip to the chip shop tonight is a must. It was my biggest craving in 1st tri and there's one 30 secs from me.
Also jealous of the Southampton shopping, I really want to go but a wet busy Saturday alone with a naughty DD in the WestQuay crowds, I just don't know if I can do it?!

Morning all, my first mummy night out minus alcohol tonight :S looking forward to yummy food though!!

Kids asked me to read 'there's a house inside my mummy' last night at bedtime and now are upset the cant feel the baby move yet! Lol bless them!
