Morning all, on a coach on the way to Worthing for dd's school trip. Thankfully I don't feel too bad today although had another stomach acid incident this morning which I hate with a passion!!

I have packed lots and lots of scrummy food for me and dd (chicken drumsticks salad and lots of fresh fruit) so hopefully that will help me!

I hope people have good days today :)

SpottyTeacakes · 06/07/2012 09:57

Sounds yummy stacey I'm afraid it's looking rather grey round these parts today.

I've felt ill again this morning and got a headache, think it's because I'm tired. Never mind this jam doughnut will sort me out Grin

Queenofsiburbia · 06/07/2012 10:25

Teacakes yum to jam doughnut! I just had nutella on toast (sorry nutella)

Pidj, glad I'm not the only one with scan on Friday 13th! Lucky I'm not superstitious or worried it may turn out like Damien in only fools & horses!!!

clarella & strawbs I love your ideas for birth year 'time capsules'. Wine is a fun one.
Worried I might only do it for the first tho...

I'm SO TIRED! It's driving me crazy feeling like I could sleep for 20hours a day. Surely I should be feeling less tired now? Can hardly walk in a straight line, & basically feel hungover, and thats not fair!

ellliebelle · 06/07/2012 11:17

Well the weather here is horrific today :( thunder and lightening first thing and not stopped raining since i woke up not fun when i had 3 children to drop at 2 diffrrent schoold this morning. Just about to go on school run again then another pick up at 3.20 and 4 kids to feed at tea time. All i really want to do is curl up in bed :)

On a positive note i dont feel too unwell today and tomorrow is the weekend :)

Clarella · 06/07/2012 11:37

Sorry to hear people feeling so poorly still. And hope no biblical floods anywhere :/ that sounds bad elliebelle.

Went to Capoeira for first time in ages last night last night but so bloated all I could do was spin and sway. Then had kfc (why why why?! still feel dirty!) So balanced it out with first aqua natal this morning, which actually was quite good as I usually feel sorely disappointed or crack up with giggles at any aqua class. There were only three of us which was quite nice :)

builders have had to come in house now and am totally on edge - we'd blocked off the whole back half of the house while they work on it, and they can only get to the back via the back lane which has been a blessing as the so called '6 week job' is now in its 13th week with probably another 3 to go! I hate fucking microwaves! And washing up in the bath!

Re movement - mine had always been more like twitches, and pokes of late, but noticed with all the bloating yesterday I felt nothing, whereas today I am again feeling the twitches and wriggles so I'm sure its all to do with abdomen anatomy. I usually feel it on the left so wonder if placenta on right?

Clarella · 06/07/2012 11:51

Just found 2 crochet hooks in my handbag. Wtf!!? Did one of you out them there?!

Clarella · 06/07/2012 11:51

*Put

WeeJo08 · 06/07/2012 11:54

Happy Friday all! Grin So glad it's almost the weekend. Feel really tired this morning and a bit headache-y. Colleague asked me if I was alright as I "look exhausted" - I know it was only through concern and being nice but I think I gave a really snotty response about "having a lot on with work" when really I was googling maternity jeans. Blush Got her a cup of tea and biscuit a few minutes ago so hopefully I didn't hurt her feelings.

I think I am feeling movements too - it's funny...it ranges from a twitchy feeling, to a bubbly wind feeling (TMI sorry!) and sometimes like a pressure-y, small balloon inside feeling. Not very good descriptions, sorry!

Clarella · 06/07/2012 12:06

Argh! Need to pee! No toilet!

That's a great description weejo! Great news!

Queenofsiburbia · 06/07/2012 12:30

clarella... Handbag? Watch out for the crochet hooks though ;)

Weejo, that's how I would describe it too, odd isn't it!

Clarella · 06/07/2012 12:37

I think they were part if a job lot of clay tools my mum gave me after a house clear out - my bag not been cleared out for a while! She's never knitted etc, so puzzled but perhaps a sign to join the crochet club?!

WeeJo08 · 06/07/2012 12:38

Yes - it is really funny! I only really notice it when I'm not doing anything. DH really wants to feel it too, but I've told him it'll probably be a while before he can feel it on the surface. We have nicknamed bump "shnarf" so we are calling the movements "shnarf shnuffles" :) Blush

Queenofsiburbia · 06/07/2012 12:55

Our puppy (who is currently wagging his tale in his sleep, very adorable) has crazy 5 mins occasionally racing and haring around. I like to think of the baby doing the same. Hopefully with same permanent happy state of mind :)

Clarella you missed my rubbish joke suggesting using yr handbag for desperate measures!

WeeJo08 · 06/07/2012 13:17

Aw - he sounds gorgeous, Queen - what sort of puppy is he?

SpottyTeacakes · 06/07/2012 13:35

I can't keep my eyes open how will I manage the next three hours at work?! Do you think anyone will notice if I just close my eyes........

WeeJo08 · 06/07/2012 14:18

Spotty Nooooo, nobody'll notice...at least that's what I'm hoping! I'd just rather be at home watching the tennis and eating Supernoodles.

SpottyTeacakes · 06/07/2012 14:20

Mmmm super noodles with cheese and chilli sauce

StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 06/07/2012 15:53

Just got back from a wet day at the beach (remind me never to volunteer again, I hate other peoples children!!!!) we had a nice time though. Although picked up ds from school and he's poorly :( temp and says his war hurts. Dosed him up, put him in pyjamas and now we're laying in bed watching shrek 2. Duvet weekend me thinks!

Hope everyone else is well!

bloody hormones

MyDaydream · 06/07/2012 16:54

I had a full on sob last night at a baby on tv. Nearly cried at my desk because my colleague took over my call even though it was because I had no idea what was going on. I had a week off work and just lost all my confidence at work. Everyone else has advanced so far. My hormones maybe need to chill the fuck out.
On the good side DP is starting work a week on Monday! Very happy about that.

MyDaydream · 06/07/2012 16:54

And spotty. Fish and chips is my vote. We don't have one near us so always my choice when it's an option.

WeeJo08 · 06/07/2012 17:02

Spotty Is there an option for "All of the above"??
