Hi all,

Back from the scan it was wonderful. Our little one was bouncing up and down and wriggling about the place. Would not stay still for Nuchal reading so got to see it for ages. Was on of the most amazing things I have ever experienced. Eventually got nuchal reading of 1.5 which is perfectly within normal considering baby is 11+5.

My EDD is now 26/01/13 (was one day out previously) and we have confirmed that our little one is a honeymoon baby! Ah Rio... good times

Spring fab news on your test results. Newbie good luck with the CVS.

Chutes harrasment is totally justified.

How lovely squealy

springflowers i am 12+5, and was all chilled and trusting the hospital would sort out scan until I realised they only had a week in which to do the nuchal test. I just rang and discovered that I am on a waiting list and not allocated a date yet . Pointed out the time scales but they are booked out. So it has been passed to the manager and someone will ring me back. I am a bit peeved, at least I have heard the baby's heartbeat or I would be a bit frantic by now.

Chutes that's terrible. Can you afford to have it done privately? It might be worth finding out where you could have it done in case you need to make your own arrangements in a hurry. You could suggest to the nhs hospital that they pay if they are not able to provide the service directly. Which area are you in?

In Hampshire, and using Princess Anne Hospital in Southampton. I will wait for my call back and figure out where to go from there. I can go to Winchester Hospital so that might be an option. I did have a quick look at private scans but was a bit shocked at the prices. I am a bit cross with myself for not chasing it sooner but I have been ill and fail for the last few weeks and it wasn't really on my mind.

I don't think it's your responsibility to chase it. It might be worth getting in touch with your midwife too so that someone else is fighting your corner. We are due on the same day

Scan booked for this Friday at 8am! I am having a slight panic over what to do with DS but am relieved to have it sorted. Scan department were incredibly apologetic and confirmed they had received my details in good time and couldn't explain why I had been overlooked.

Now just have to see if my mum wants to get up incredibly early on Friday and look after her lovely grandson!

Chutes where do you live, I'm having mine at princess Anne too so must be local to each other.

Hedge End pmgkt so not too far from PAH but it's such a pain in the arse to get there. Also, even though I lived in Southampton for 15+ years every single time I go back I am shocked at the amount of bloody traffic lights.

Where is everyone else? My last ante/post natal group was scattered into every far-flung corner of the country which made meet ups a bit tricky.

I'm in Winchester so am going to Hogwarts (sorry, hospital!) there. The main building really does look like Hogwarts....

And chutes so glad you finally have a date, and wow, this Friday's nice and soon, only a couple of days to go! I guess at least they told you honestly they didn't know why you'd been overlooked instead of fobbing you off with some dubious excuse. Have you told your mum yet?

I'm nowhere near any of you :( I'm in Derbyshire, but am actually booked into QMC hospital in Nottingham. I can still cheer everyone on from up here in the middle of nowhere though!

Burton's a bit nearer, right rough area anyway, only 20-30 miles down the a38! I'm near Alfreton, up by J28 of M1. Nobody's ever heard of it as it's a tiny town but it's the nearest one there is!

Congrats on your scan results and good luck to those still waiting to get theirs.

I am booked in for my CVS on Monday - another wait :( No matter, at least I have an appointment. I seem to be experiencing dreadful heartburn since I got my 1 in 7 result and not sure if its down to the anxiety I'm feeling or just the pregnancy? The joys eh?!

Me and hubbie are trying to stay positive and keep thinking that this time next week we will know more about the health of our baby and can then either continue with the pregnancy and try and relax or make an informed decision. So hoping we are the 6 in 7 as opposed to the 1 as just can't think about what decision to make :(

Wishing everyone a happy weekend and will let you know how I get on on Monday.

Lora they're vile aren't they? I stopped taking them after my scan. I figure I eat well enough.

I'm still waiting for my blood results, taken 19th June, they said 3 weeks so I will give my MW til after clinic tomorrow lunchtime and then ring to chase. She needs to make my 16 week appointment when she has the results and thats next week I assume since I haven't heard that its all fine.

Hello everyone.....feeling very :) today, as after having Tues off (puky pukinson) wed and today i have felt full of beans....loads of energy, no sickness, no headaches! PLEASE let me be over it by now!!! Ive just started taking a multivit tablet from Wed, so maybe thats helped? With the iron maybe?....(or maybe they were made on the black market and are act full of speed!lol)

Think were going for Eleni for a girl and either Jude or Sebastian for a boy.....exciting!....just want to start buying loads of stuff but think I will wait till my 20 week scan.
