Also been meaning to say mega cheap nursing bras on amazon Emily B Daisy come in black n ivory cheapest I got was 12.99 . True to size and good quality if your at a point where you've got to do something about puffy boobage.

I don't think I worded that quite right. I meant I've just had a lady touch my stomach, it was quite unsettling. Why do people think its acceptable?

Oh haha!!! I got really excited! That is weird, I was sat in the car picking up my hubby from work and his mate lent in through the window to give my tummy a rub.....I didn't mind so much, but it is odd....you wouldn't normally go around feeling peoples tummy lol!...x

Gah, feeling totally wiped out today. Managed to get out for an hour but had to come back for a sleep on the sofa with the cat. First day I've felt like this in 13 weeks, so guess I should feel lucky.

I get that too, lora There's a difference though. 15 weeks today, it's all going so fast this time.

I've thought I've felt a flutter a couple of times, although i'm not sure yet. This is dc#1 for me so i know its very early to be feeling movement.

I am 14+3 today and have felt a few flutters despite the.. ehm.. bowel interference.
Got a bit stressed last night when comparing DD's first scan and this one's. Could not find a CRL measurement and started panicking at the NT size (my hospital is still training its midwives, and they do not tell you measurements, but we could look at the screen and see them).
Anyhow - DH and I argue about what we saw etc... Everything is likely to be ok, I have the blood tests tomorrow afternoon and I hate the waiting bit coming after :(

newbie fingers crossed for your bloods, as others have said you have a very good chance it is all fine.

creepy re. your hairy tummy. My SIL is also pregnant and she told me she has this too! She is asian and I wonder if it is more common in dark haired people, as I don't have this but I am a redhead with very fine pale body hair.

Happy if you are getting headaches make sure you are drinking enough water. I think they can be a sign of high blood pressure so it maybe worth getting it checked.

Not much to report here, I am getting very bored of waiting for my scan but have another week to go .

Hello all,Im getting a really hairy belly!so weird,Im white but fairly olive skinned,if it carries on at this rate Im gonna be looking like she-wolf come Jan! happy my headaches r doing me in! Theyre not horific but always seem to be there lurking away :(
On a happier note 14 WEEKS TODAY! feels ace to be at 2nd trimester after my mc in Feb...next midwife visit in two wks,cnt wait for t doppler!(but also still bit worried that sumits going to go wrong again :( need to get a grip!!)
Hope everyone is good,so exciting bout baby movements!I just gulped some ice water to see if I could feel anything,then felt silly as its so early (and got brain freeze!) x x

I don't have headaches all the time but when I get them, they hurt like hell!! I'm drinking quite a lot as I'm so thirsty.

Down in the lake district this week and went for a flat 7 mile walk - that won't be happening again... My bum, hips and sciatic nerve have been SO sore!! I really didn't expect to be like that this early on (I'm 14 weeks). Hubby is going for a walk by himself tomorrow while I go round the shops and drink tea!!

I'm not feeling any flutters. I have it in my head that I won't be feeling anything til the end of August probably so even if they're there, I doubt I'd recognise them!!

Question for those who have been pregnant before:
What does the bump feel like? Is it hard? Squishy? Does it move? When you lie on your side does it flop over?

Octane my bump currently feels like a harder than usual tummy, and you knows its a bump when you can't push it in, or its uncomfortable to put pressure on it. Also sleeping on my side I prop the duvet under it as I can feel it kind of dropping to the side, it doesn't move as such though its more of a feeling inside that i find uncomfortable. That said this is ny second and I don't remember feeling it this much first time around, not this early anyway. How are you feeling about things?

Just dropping in to catch up on what I have missed over the last few days.

Spring - glad to hear everything is ok. That must have been terribly scary.

I am v. jealous of all of those who can feel flutters. So far mine is defintely mostly a gas baby .

Creepy - I have NO idea what I will do if anyone does that to me! Not a big fan of "space invaders" at the best of times, never mind if they actually dare to rub me like a lucky budda. I may have to grab bums in retaliation.

So glad I'm not alone with the hairy tum, although it doesn't seem as bad as it was. A few people have said that it means a boy.

I think I'm starting to show too, I have an almost definite bump the last few days. I'm 13+1 with my first so it's more than likely the Paprika crisps I've been shovelling into my gob!

My scan was fine and nuchal low. They were very quick to say that it has to be combined with the bloods before a risk is determined. The baby was sucking its thumb and doing somersaults, very cute. I have been able to feel flutters since I was 11 weeks - I didn't believe that's what it was at first but it's continued and it's definatly the same feeling as before. My due date has been moved to 18th Jan - I'll update the list in a minute.
