Morning all. I've also had hip/back pain, though mine is mostly just in my left hip and is really painful when bending down/twisting. I've had it for weeks now, and have learnt to adapt around it. I wonder if it's more of a trapped nerve, as the pain is very sudden, and eases soon after I stop doing whatever made it hurt!
As for tiredness/sleeping - I've been lucky. I'm still a bit tired in the evenings, but am back onto a more usual sleep schedule. Usually go up to bed about 30mins or so earlier than normal, but have managed to stay up for some late nights (went to a stag do, and a house warming party at the weekend). I'm a bit worried actually about not waking up at night for a pee... maybe I'm not drinking enough? At no point so far while pg have I woken up at night to pee, and the first tri is meant to be really bad for that.
I'm waiting for my 16w appointment on Wed next week (when I'll be 17w). I'm going to get DH to come along with me, as I've suddenly started worrying about whether they'll be able to find the heartbeat, and how awful it would be if they couldn't find it and I was there alone. I want this baby to start moving so I can feel it there and know everything is ok.
I've not really been missing any foods/alcohol or anything, and had no cravings or food aversions. I do like pate, but only ever really eat it at Christmas anyway. I also try to follow a 'no red meat' diet, so steaks and cured meats aren't something I eat much of. I also try and avoid processed things, so ham and processed meats are off the menu anyway, even chicken. I'm not great at following the diet, but it's the WHO guidelines, and I'm much more aware of cancer risks since having had cancer. I do crave it, and give in to my cravings, but being pg hasn't changed that.
