tinkcantwaittomove · 05/09/2012 11:52

secret Shock
nobody deserves to be treated like that!!
Sad for you
good luck with consultant

dropped dd1 off on school trip today she is away till fri
having gd day with dd2 went to town

SecretCermonials · 05/09/2012 12:19

Thanks tink hope DD enjoys her trip!

Got a very interesting call at half 9, from the head of sonography (interestingly called the superintendent) she apologised profusely and invited me in for another scan conducted by herself! I went in and she was really nice put me at ease, rescanned everything retook every measurement and saw completely all of what was needed, which was a huge relief!
DS2 is all happy and healthy and growing fine. She said she will speak to the sonographer concerned and raise my issues etc but, for me I'm just relived now! Well until the next appointment Wink

Starshinetiger · 05/09/2012 12:48

Oh that's great news Secret. What a horrible experience for you. Agree that no-one should ever be treated like that by anyone. So glad you have had another scan so quickly and all is well.

Tink - glad you had a good weekend. Hope DD1 enjoys her trip and you enjoy your quality time with DD2.

Ginger - how are you? Do you feel like you're on the home stretch now? How are things at work?

Kayz - glad DS1 is glad to be back. My DS is really excited to be back at school, which is great.

DD had a visit at her nursery today and now I'm feeling all emotional about it and nervous about her coping with being different, but still have 1.5 weeks to get my head round it!

Hope you're all enjoying sunshine like we are Smile

SecretCermonials · 05/09/2012 14:48

Thanks star, eek sounds very exciting your end! Hope DD settles well, DS has been at the same nursery for over two years and yet still has days where he "koala's" me!!

McKayz · 05/09/2012 15:03

Star, DS2 has been for his nursery visit today. He loved it so much. He cried when we left.

OP posts:
SESthebrave · 05/09/2012 18:20

Star - hope all went well for DD. Hope they're being accommodating without causing too much fuss aboutany extra help she needs. Has she had any recent hospital appointments or has it all settled down for now?

Ginger - how much longer have you got at work?

Tink - how exciting for DD1 to have a school trip over a couple of days! Where have they gone?

Kayz - great that DS2 loved nursery so well

Secret - Great that the superintendent phoned and rescanned so quickly and put your mind at rest. Oh and I love the term "koala".

I describe DS as a limpet usually but same idea. He has always been a bit of a limpet but the last week he's been in floods of tears when I've left him too. Sometimes he's half smiling so i think it's for effect but if I call him on it and tell him he's joking and try to prise him off me, he goes into complete meltdown. I think it could just be where he's had a different routine only doing 2 days per week for the last couple of months and he missed 2 weeks altogether when he had chicken pox and relatives visiting. He's back to 3 days a week now so hopefully the routine will help.

McKayz · 05/09/2012 19:14

The most awful noises have just come from DD's nappy area. I don't know if I want to look, especially as I have only just changed her.

Ses, I hope DS settles down for you. Once he gets into his routine again he should hopefully calm back down.

I am going in, wish me luck!!

Morning! Ses hope DS settles down, i'm quite nervous about how he will adjust to
His change in routine, but we are hoping by starting it before the christmas break it wont be too much for him, on the other hand though, as DS2 is likely to come in that break im bracing myself!!

Kayz hope it wasnt poogate Grin

SESthebrave · 09/09/2012 20:40

Hello all! Quiet on here so hope you're all having a good time and enjoying the last few days of sun.

We've had a good weekend. Chilling yesterday with a BBQ in the evening and then today DS, DD and I left DH to some gardening and went and met up with some friends which was lovely and DS was so well behaved.
He was much better at nursery drop off on Thursday too. Still a bit clingy but no tears or melt down. Progress!!

DD seems to be teething so she's not quite as settled and not sleeping quite so well. Will have to wait and see if she gets any teeth any time soon but if she takes after DS, it will be at about 16 weeks Hmm

SecretCermonials · 09/09/2012 21:10

Aw ses weekend sounds nice! Glad DS was better im hoping for no koala-ing myself this week, it may just tip me Over the edge!!
Hope DD settles back down, DS got his first tooth at 11 months almost to the day.

Weekend has been ok here, if only the weeks didn't come inbetween eh!

Gingerbreadlatte · 10/09/2012 07:14

Hi All
things manic here as I get things finished work wise. Got another4 wks to go now so not long, will be going at 36wks

Work fairly hellish, working ridiculous hours but I have to get a project done and live and my handover done. Roll on early oct!

Will post again soon and have a proper chat!

BTW, I passed the GTT the other week so I hope I get left alone now by the diabetic police!

bye for now xx

SESthebrave · 10/09/2012 21:06

Hello Ginger :)
Yay for passing GTT!
Hope the next 4 weeks go quickly and as smoothly as possible. The last few weeks of work + heavily pg + 3yo are not easy - you have my sympathies!

Hello everyone else!

All ok here today. DD's gums seem to be giving her even more trouble. I have gel, granules and Sophie the giraffe all to hand...

McKayz · 11/09/2012 04:20

Ginger that's great about the GTT. How is your SPD doing? I hope the next few weeks go quickly for you.

Ses I'm dreading teething. DS1 wasn't too bad with it but DS2 was a nightmare.

Hello everyone!!

I'm fed up of seeing 4am. She always wakes up around now and I struggle to get back to sleep. But when she used to wake earlier it wasn't a problem and I'd go straight to sleep.

tink glad DD1 enjoyed trip! Yay for work, and well done re debts!

kayz thats fab, i love the black chassis ones so will go with that if I cant get the giggle!

ses hope injections went ok!

I can safely say im bored stiff work feels like a waste if time at the moment! Ive been a bit worried today as a colleague managed to whack me in the bump with a rucksack Angry have felt flutters so im guessing all is ok!

Have also found suddenly my SPD has started to hit in an evening, hoping it stays just in the evening!

Not a great deal going on for me atm, which sounds ludicrous to say with baby, wedding, DS1 bday and a holiday to organise but it all feels strangely under control... Long may it last!!

I can't believe how little i come on here now... I tend to see most of my 'news' through FB, then forget to come on here. I have been trying to keep up with everyone. :)

DD2 broke her collar bone a couple of weeks ago, just got discharged from hospital yesterday, she has a referral for her 'passing out' on monday morning, then back to nursery on tuesday... and i start doing volunteer work at school every morning as of tuesday too!! Really excited, but starting to get a little nervous too!

Hope everyone is keeping well- these pregnancies are flying by!! can't believe youre @ 36wks Ginger!!

I'm still waiting on my AF to return after the depo jab so i can start tracking and start TTC surro-baby no2! Been waiting since may- and i'm gutted it's not returned yet :(
