Nutella I know exactly what you mean about emotions taking over...I still feel I am often in need of a wee cry/moan/hug!

Have had a good day - did a fair bit of baking & got out for a nice walk too :) It turned into a lovely afternoon here :)

On a slightly unrelated note (to baking!) Are anyone else's boobs still really sore? I thought from 12 weeks they might get a little less sore but at 13+5 they're still v painful at night. Do I need to wait a few more weeks?

Stacks · 09/06/2012 22:22

Hi everyone. Just back from a very wet camping holiday. Was still fun though. Just a quick check in post, will catch up soon!

gilsbubbles · 09/06/2012 22:23

Has anyone else found their boob
s have shrunk? DP commented this morning and it fits with my bras feeling baggier....recon I've dropped a cup size. Was expecting the exact opposite

Bubbless · 09/06/2012 22:35

Itsmynuttella, I did exactly the same thing to my dp today, he looked at me like I was crazy but hugged me nonetheless!!
Gils; mine are massive in the first place and they are only getting bigger, do you wanna swap because mine are killing me !!

Btw guys, name change, although I think we can all guess what i was before!!

itsMYNutella · 09/06/2012 22:39

Thanks guys :) feeling much more normal now. But am so tired, which probably didn't help!

gilsbubbles mine keep growing... Although they haven't been too tender [touch wood emoticon] but have you lost weight from morning sickness perhaps?
I remember a (pregnant) friend of mine losing weight and having to go down a back size.... Sorry I'm not able to be much help!

livismum · 09/06/2012 22:43

Clarella wish I had had that warning earlier, saw it on tues! Thumped my DH at more than one point for telling me it would be good!

Is anyone getting flutterings? I'm only 11 weeks so know it's near on impossible, (DD1 I felt at 16ish and think DD2 was a bit earlier) but for last 2 days had very fluttery like feelings, feel free to tell me I'm daft and it's food digesting! Grin

SpottyTeacakes · 09/06/2012 22:57

Just had a really horrible dream Sad felt so real!

ivanapoo · 09/06/2012 23:05

Me too livis and Clarella - just got back from cinema. I had deeply low expectations so managed to enjoy it for what it was (and yes I had to wee half way through too). Thought Fassbender was good but Charlize Theron was awful. And as for "the" scene... Ha!

ivanapoo · 09/06/2012 23:06

Hope you're alright Spotty, was it baby-related? My DH has had a few of those.

I've just been dreaming about eating McDonalds

SpottyTeacakes · 09/06/2012 23:08

Nope not baby related but definitely due to pregnancy and possibly the cheese and marmite wrap I ate before bed...... Grin

Chloe55 · 10/06/2012 08:16

Ooh I know I've been looking 'bumpy' in clothes for a bit now but just laying in bed and can actually feel the outer shape of my uterus-it feels huge! It is just starting to come above my belly button too so my slightly lumpy bump will hopefully become one bump soon Smile

I can't post a pic yet as on phone but not sure if the 'nub' I can see on the scan is one or not, if it is I'm guessing girl-will post for opinions as soon as I can.

Have woken with no headache....so far! Grin Hope people have a lovely Sunday today, dh is out on a 12 mile hike with the dog-rather him than me!

CODwidow · 10/06/2012 08:31

I'm still In my normal clothes but 14 w on weds so guess that's not going to be for much longer! My bump is higher where I guess everything's been pushed up.

My boobs haven't seen the light of day (except for a quick shower) for 10 weeks! They really hurt If i take my bra off.
I can definately feel fluttering on a evening when I sit down Smile

Mummycox · 10/06/2012 08:35

Morning ladies, happy weekend. Blimey there's a lot of messages to keep up with. Am in London for the weekend and going to Automat for brunch. Is it wrong to want the entire menu for breakfast?

Ladies, I agree about not watching films. Can I add that we also shouldn't try to watch three hour musicals that require us to sit up straight.... Muscles, ligaments and bits do not like being in one position for too long.

Does anyone else have endo and feel ripping pains still? Sodding painful enough.

That sounds pretty grumpy. Sorry. Still very excited really... 15 weeks on Tuesday. Three weeks till next scan Grin

Chloe55 · 10/06/2012 08:51

mummycox yeah I have endo and still getting those pains, will be 15 weeks on Friday (wow, still finding it hard to believe we have got this far).

I'm really sorry, can't remember who said now and it was a while back but didn't want it to go unchecked and was Shock at the way you was treated. When we were told at the 12 wk scan we lost our baby (last pregnancy) we were immediately taken into a little room with a sofa, offered a cuppa, was spoken to by a midwife (all of which I didnt want at the time as just wanted to go home but would have been doubly upset had it not been offered iykwim), all our options were explained, hugs were offered etc. I can not believe you were told heartbreaking news then ushered out immediately that is so so Sad. I have changed hospitals since our loss and I am so glad I did, I would have really struggled to go back in that waiting room then into the sonographers room - it was hard enough doing it elsewhere (and id had plenty of scans before I'd even got pg this time to check on follicles etc) I hate that mc affects what should be an enjoyable experience, we are all creating a new life, it's amazing yet unfortunately I know a lot of us worry about that coming to an end every single day and no doubt will until this baby is in our arms. Sorry, feeling all emotional about this today for some reason Blush

Cookiesandcream06 · 10/06/2012 08:56

Hello ladies.. For the past few nights I really felt as though I had the faintest of flutters, it did feel different to wind but I can't remember what it felt like last time?!

I went to the cinema at about 37 weeks last time round, don't think I'll be rushing just yet-sat in the car for 2 hours yesteday was uncomfortable enough.

Hope you are all enjoying your weekend. I have analysed my 'nub' and there is absolutely no sign. In the examples you see online its really obvious .. He/she clearly not that co-operative. How do I upload my scan pic?!?

SpottyTeacakes · 10/06/2012 08:58

Cookies you just go to your profile and can upload it from there.

Ooo I can't wait for the flutterings, you lucky ladies!

I have an urge to go shopping but dp won't let me, I don't know what I want to buy I just want to go!

WeeJo08 · 10/06/2012 09:03

Cookies You go onto your "My Mumsnet" page and log in there and then you can share photos on your Public Profile page. I think you need to make sure that you set it that other people can see.

Mummycox · 10/06/2012 09:08

Hugs Chloe

Mummycox · 10/06/2012 09:17

Just realised its my birthday in three weeks. I'll be 32. Crumbs.

Queenofsiburbia · 10/06/2012 09:22

honeymum I had shocking headaches in weeks 12 & 13, and particularly over last bank hols. I didn't think about it but then discovered I have shingles, absolutely no idea if related though! Anyway if yours go on and on then do get them checked out.

This should probably be in an AIBU separate thread but such weirdos post on those threads that I'd rather ask u...

AIBU (or majorly over-sensitive) to think my mother who I love dearly is being abit mean?
Saw her yesterday for first time since giving news over the phone. All wonderful and lovely, will be her first GC so she's v.pleased
But last night she asked me following Q's..

"Are you sure you're not abit further on than 15 weeks [am 14+6] as u look very pregnant?"
(she knows about scan dating, was a radiographer when younger so didn't seem like a genuine Q)

Then out of the blue...

"Do you and [my other half's name] talk?"
Err about what? and why ask?
"Well things that are important to you, you know. Things other than his work or sport. I just wondered that's all."

Seemed like a strange Q. I'm so happy with DH, and we talk about anything mostly my drivel about feeling fat right now

I'm finding it hard as I used to be a trim size 6-8 (Im quite small height-wise!) and have put on wright which everyone seems to think ok to point out because I'm pregnant.. Confused I have been boo-hooing about it loads & now dread seeing friends, going anywhere.
So thanks mum!!!

livismum · 10/06/2012 09:23

Morning, I've been up since 3am being sick, now am feeling completely drained, haven't been actually sick before just felt bleugh. No way I can go and do my 6hr shift standing in a shop today so will have to call in, but it's not the manager in today that knows I'm PG so not sure what to say!
I know I need to eat and drink any tips on good stuff to pick me up?

Queenofsiburbia · 10/06/2012 09:23

Ps. Happy Birthday mummy cox :-)
32 is a good age!!

PurplePidjin · 10/06/2012 09:25

Bored bored bored sat in Minor Injuries with suspected DVT Sad

SpottyTeacakes · 10/06/2012 09:29

Livi, Queen & Pidjin hope you are all OK.

Ignore people's comments, once you're pregnant you become everyone's business apparently Hmm

Chloe55 · 10/06/2012 09:31

queens mum's can be very insensitive at times! My mum likes to tell me that you can see it in my face when I put on weight Angry, she probably doesn't even realise that she has offended you with her comment so id just take it with a pinch of salt and if she says something about your weight again turn and tell her that actually you are struggling a bit to come to terms with the weight gain and would prefer for her to not point it out in future Angry then glare and storm off (that would be my tantrum anyway Grin). As for the other question? Strange!! I would have had to dig deeper to find out what she meant. Perhaps she is concerned about you and your dh adapting to a new life ie financial, emotional etc etc-not that it's any of her business but as shes your mum she is probably worrying about you.
