I have just uploaded my scan pic onto my profile so if anyone cares to guess using the nub theory it would be most appreciated! I have tried to guess but can't seem to bring myself to see it clearly. We are finding out soon anyway but would love to know NOWWW!!

I can't work out where the nub is (on any photo, including my own scan!)

if anyone wants to hazard a guess at our scan pictures would be great to have your opinions. The bit on the pictures which i think might be it's nub DH thinks is a foot and i think is cord!

I have no idea how I'll react if I'm having a girl, after 4 ds's I think it'll be a huge shock to be honest and both dh and I can think of baby as anything but a boy. I have no preference really but I think dh is secretly hoping for pink

Wow I missed a lot by being offline for a day! (massive coursework emergency... I'm just finishing off a postgrad course).

I am wearing maternity trousers these days but only because I've been given some. I tried them on to see what they looked like and they're just way comfier, even if I do have to keep pulling them up! (before that it was a new pair of jeans I had to buy at 6 weeks in a size larger - I definitely wasn't ready to buy maternity then!) The bump bands didn't work for me, although everyone else says they're great. I was also holding jeans together with a hairband looped through the buttonhole and around the button.

Congratulations on everyone's scans, and big congrats to minipie! I find the nub theory fascinating and kind of tempting, but like nutella we don't want to know (well I don't and DH hasn't decided if he does) - partly because I think it'll be more exciting to find out when he/she's born, but mainly because it's not unheard of for them to get it wrong and that'd be really weird. It's kind of different if you actually know the chromosomes though - I guess they can't get that wrong! I'm 99% convinced it's a girl but that's completely unfounded. Does anyone else feel like they know like that?

Not to sure I could manage learning 70 new mn names on the November lot! I started there but didn't have a clue about what they were saying so feel for you later Dec mums. Also they were scarily efficient with Facebook pages etc!

Might be queasy but have manic giggles today - almost tipsy! Not complaining as been so horribly down and flat for so long. Still giggling over kates cat comment and picturing everyone peering at our fuzzy scans being very puzzled! basically I suddenly thought I could see boys bits on mine, which surprised me at that age so kinda flippantly googled thinking it would be the umbilical cord.

The website I read about it on is called www.baby2see.com - gender, external genitals. I think the pics are a bit much actually so haven't put a link and remember Dr Google never went to med school!

Morning! Just realised I haven't added myself to the list. Done now. Haven't posted much yet as it's so fast moving and I'm still waiting for my scan date . I suppose it's a bit delayed as my booking in appointment was just before the extended bank holiday. Oh well.... Also spoke to my friend yesterday who is due October and she's STILL feeling sick. I'm dreading this nausea continuing well into the 2nd trimester but I guess there's nothing you can do about it. I had it until 16 weeks with DS so I sort of had that in the back of my head as the light at the end of the tunnel. Could be worse, I'm not actually throwing up, just that horrible travel sickness feeling, only relieved by eating regularly and therefore blowing up to the size of a house. Morning knotty I have the same as you (nausea unless I eat constantly) but pleased to say the last week or so it's got LOADS better, which weirdly was pretty much 12 weeks to the day... Hmm!

Love seeing everyone's scan pics! Ours are stuck to the fridge (Thanks to DH, he's so excited) but I need to take pics of them to send to various parents so when I do I'll try to upload here too if I can work out how to do it.

I've looked for nub direction (sounds like a boy band) on mine and everyone else's but I'm clearly rubbish at even seeing a nub as I don't think I've spotted one.
