I tried fresh orange.

Going to consider GP for lactulose if it doesn't shift soon. Its like bloody rabbit droppings. Except it feels like elephant sized rabbits.

Sigh.

I've got nothing coming out at all. My stomach hurts because I need to go and I've had so many drinks to try and shift it I'm now full and really uncomfortable.

Ooooh the rabbit crap, I think I've just got over that, but I'm still going a few times a day. Plenty of water and fruit, but if you up your liquid intake you might as well just drink it sat on the toilet! :)

Lactulose is! I think you can buy it over the counter, but you may want to tell the pharmacist you are pregnant. I have baby brain already. Why can't I remember if it can be bought OTC!! Oh dear!

22 today! Dh is 26 so I always tease him about being older but I said last night from today it's all downhill! This is the first birthday I haven't wanted to arrive. I'll probably say that every year now

Anyone got plans for this weekend?

Im out for frieds birthday tonight and going to have to tell them im preg as I won't be drinking crying my eyes out and there's not an excuse I can think if that would explain why not! It's mad that I'm abit nervous to tell them, I'm the first one to get preg out of my group and all quote career focused so know there will be lots of Qs and things like that. Any ideas? :)

Just read the lactulose bottle - it says use "with caution" in the first 3mths of pg. Consult GP. Have you tried fybogel? It takes time to work but kept me regular during my pg with DD...

25 was the first birthday I felt old. No longer in the young person 19-24 age bracket. It's def all down hill after that!! Although I got married at 29 & 'celebrated' my 30th when pg, so I can't actually say I've had a bad 30s so far!!!

Have realised I can no longer wear underwired bras. I wondered what the nasty red bruise-like mark, well more pressure mark on the edge of my boob, under my pit was when I got up this morning. Then realised it had a twin on the other side. The underwires are obviously suffering under the strain & biting back!!! Ouch. Good job I have some soft bras from DD's time. :)

Thanks for the crossed fingers WestWinger. I'm sat staring at the clock. DH has gone out and will be back at ten to take me to my 11.30 appointment. Feeling really quite sick but going to have to drink my water soon. Bleugh!

It is a bit weird Nervous when that happens. Just say it if they ask why you're not drinking & answer their questions but don't feel you have justify yourself. They'll be thrilled for you I expect but a bit unsure what to say or do!! I think I was one of the first to do it with most of my friends, but a lot of old school friends have got 2 or more kids older than my first. What I'm trying to say is its perspective. You think it might seem odd to them now but gradually your perspective will shift and it won't seem the same way iyswim!! Good luck.

I has a curry for dinner last night and scrambled eggs for breakfast so the nausea is definitely on its way out at 11+2 weeks. On the other hand my bump is now apparent so I don't know how I'll hide that for the next three weeks until my scan.

Just popping in to say that I have always been advised to drink prune juice when constipated. Seems to work!

It's my dad's birthday today and I was due on his birthday but arrived 2 days later. I'm 25 on monday and was dreading it because I always thought I would have a baby by 25. After a year ttc it looked like it wasn't going to happen. Now I'm ok about it because it will be the best year of my life

If it is downhill from 21 then I am underground.

My mates were grandparents before I had my first.

Billie has hit the terrible twos with great enthusiasm.

Constipated too. Perhaps that is why my body is craving pineapple.

When DD was a tad constipated, we had a diluted glass/beaker each with our dinner each evening. Seemed to work!!! :)

Feeling very ropey today, quite breathless (had this with DD2) and no energy at all, also feeling very sick and dizzy :(

It feels like the whole front of my body is stretching today, right under my boobs feels enormous and it goes right down to the bottom of my belly.

Am going to go and hide upstairs for a while now so I don't feel so lazy sat here on the settee while hubby is running round doing the housework :)
