Um, chucks orange at Donna there you go!

DonnaDoon · 20/04/2012 19:19

Thanking you...Deeeelish !

DesperateHousewife21 · 20/04/2012 19:25

Im craving milkshake, luckily I've got powder. But I'd rather have Krushem.

Has anyone got preferences re gender? I've got ds so everyone assumes I want this one to be a girl but tbh I REALLY don't mind. It would be lovely to have a girl but of its a boy that's find too, I've got boys clothes/ toys/ decor in ds' room already.

DesperateHousewife21 · 20/04/2012 19:27

Sorry about spelling the phone has its own life apparently.

Passmethecrisps · 20/04/2012 19:32

Ooo! I had a craving for crusha last week. Special offer in sainsbury's. Yum yum. Don't like milk at all so it's a strange one.

I have mostly been craving food. Any food. Crisps, sweets, junk food, oranges and kiwi fruits. If it goes in your gob then I have been craving it. What does that mean?

I have no preferance for sex. I used to think I would prefer a girl but the longer the pregnancy has gone on the more I don't care

ValiumQueen · 20/04/2012 19:38

Eating pineapple like it is going out of fashion.

I have two girls, and yes I would like a boy this time. I would like triplets - two boys and a girl please. I will be very grateful for whatever arrives though, obviously.

ValiumQueen · 20/04/2012 19:40

I would also like to be 15 years younger, blonde, rich, a size 10 with big tits....

TheDetective · 20/04/2012 19:59

I'd love a girl, to keep the parents and parents in law happy! And because this will DEFINITELY be my last pregnancy. I can't do another hyperemesis one, and I don't think we can afford 3 kids, well, not for a long while, and I don't want another massive age gap!

However, I'd be delighted with a boy, because I've waited so long to just have another baby, it really doesn't matter. Plus we have a boys name haha!

Valium If I was 15 years younger, I'd be 12...! I'd settle for 5 years younger, definitely rich, and much slimmer. And taller. Definitely taller. Oh yes.

For those who are buying, or who have had scans and are thinking about buying, Asda have their baby event online today, starts in stores on monday. I've seen a swing I like, but trying to find out what the cost was before to make sure its a bargain!! The steriliser I bought at half price for £30 is £45 in the event, so not everything is a good deal!

DesperateHousewife21 · 20/04/2012 20:07

If I was 15 years younger I'd be 6 lol! But I'd like to stay 21 please Grin

ValiumQueen · 20/04/2012 20:09

Thank you for making me feel old. I would be 28 Grr!

blonderthanred · 20/04/2012 20:14

Don't worry Valium, I'm on the wrong side of 30 too. Hang on what am I saying? The right side of 30...

Sod being younger, as long as the baby's healthy, I am happy.

TheDetective · 20/04/2012 20:15

Hehehe! You're only as young as you feel! I still feel 16 in my head! I dread every birthday now however!

DonnaDoon · 20/04/2012 20:16

Which reminds me is it your birthday today or tomorrow DH ?

WestWinger · 20/04/2012 20:18

I'd be 20 - no thank you - wouldn't go back there if you paid me! Quite happy as I am. Apart from the nausea, fatigue and massive pile of ironing, obvs. Grin

Good luck tomorrow, Waiting.

Brockle · 20/04/2012 20:30

Yucky train journey over and in PJs. The great thing about a bump is guilting people into giving you their seat. Just need to grow one. Husband is out with the kids for BILs birthday so sausage chips and gravy from the chip shop for me - yum. How is it I can feel sick as a dog one minute and wolfing down stodge the next?

Chunkychicken · 20/04/2012 20:37

I'd be 17 & wouldn't have met my lovely DH again yet (had a crush on him at the first yr at secondary school Blush) and I would still be doing my a levels, instead of teaching 'em. No thank you!!!

I'm not really having cravings as such any more. Just eating more food, & have enjoyed tea & biscuits in the last few days (although still feeling sick a lot). I have enjoyed baked potato with cheese & scrambled eggs. :)

With DD I def wanted sweet stuff, but that was later on. I don't remember the early food cravings/anti-cravings. DH had to remind me that I got hyper-sensitive to spice during my pg, so that the slightest bit of chilli & my lips burn. He's had to make everything extra mild to help me eat dinner!!

Oh and DH, you share your birthday with my DD & the Queen, if I've read right that it's tomorrow...

goldene · 20/04/2012 20:38

God bless Valium, I'm 43 too and nice to know I'm not alone. Just had about four dinners in one. My baby craves LOTS OF FOOD.

ValiumQueen · 20/04/2012 20:53

There is a 40 plus thread goldene I am off there now to lick me geriatric wounds.

ValiumQueen · 20/04/2012 20:54

My youngest is two tomorrow, and I am 43 on Sunday.

TheDetective · 20/04/2012 21:24

Valium Come back! Don't go! Age is just a number! Pfffft! :(

I would like to take a moment to praise my DP. A moment. There! Done :) Seriously, thank you for being completely amazingly supportive Grin

The orange was awesome btw. Baby loved it! If I could send you a digital orange Donna I so would right now, because they were some oranges!

I just remembered the other high point to my day - trying on my work uniform, just incase I can go back next week! It was loose on me! Woofrickin'hoo! That is a first, I already had to get a bigger size 6 months ago, after only having the original uniform for 6 months. When I asked one of the managers for it, she had to ring the Matron, and was shouting down the corridoor to me 'She wants to know why you need a new one ALREADY' Blush I just hollered back 'BECAUSE I GOT FAT OVEREATING DUE TO WORK RELATED STRESS' ha!

Since then, I have put more weight on. Should of got 2 sizes bigger ha! In an emergency I can be heard going 'shit, fuck, help, I'm stuck, pull me out' as I try to get out the damn thing and get my scrubs on! Ah well..... Hmm

Can I also just say, for one moment, I feel NORMAL!

DesperateHousewife21 · 20/04/2012 21:30

donna it's tomorrow :) can't wait for my bacon sarnie in bed courtesy of dh!

Brockle · 20/04/2012 21:36

I spent the whole day trying to suck everything in. I would then go into a toilet cubicle just to let it all hang out. There is no way I can wait for my scan before telling work. I am already wearing the baggiest work shirts and they aint so baggy anymore... Has anyone not told work yet or am I just a wimp?

Thechick · 20/04/2012 21:39

Hey all

Just had a lovely dinner with my folks. I love my family. They drive me completely crazy as they are all nuts, but I love them dearly!! We were talking about names, my mum and son go from very ordinary to completely out there, and it made me realise that I really do not have a clue to the type of name I want. But I've got plenty of time to thnk about it.

15 years ago I would be 22, my goodness, that sounds so young. I'm glad I'm on this side of 30, I'll be 39 when baby is born, my birthday is 7th nov!!

I'm having loads of issues with food. I really don't feel like anything. It's really starting to be an issue as everything seems to leave a bad taste in my mouth or doesn't sit well. I'm starting to get heartburn when I eat bread of all colours and potatoes. I'm eating a lot of pork but that's starting to turn on me too, and I was starting to get worried about the salt content.

So that's me at the mo. It is wonderful that we are getting so much good news.

NervousAt20 · 20/04/2012 22:07

Argh damn phone just posted but manage to loose it :( take 2...

Wow the stats list is so long! We need to add foof onto the bottom too I can't do it from my phone

Had a horrable long day at work today, felt sick all day not MS just plain pig greedy sickness! I've decided too that I hate rude people! I've been grumpy today as tomorrow night it's 2 of my best friends birthdays so were going out and I really don't no how I'm ment to stay away past 11 and now I know I can't drink I really really want to :( never been a big drinker but because I can't it's like I WANT TO! Damn it. Going to have to tell them too as can't think of any other excuse to why I wouldbt be drinking! Hmm thinks that's all I have to moan about but I'm sure I've forgot something lol so moan over!

Glad to see more good news on the scans Grin and were all getting close to the second tri so can't wait to feel human again!
Happy Birthday for tomorrow desperatehousewife

Hope everyone enjoys their weekend

applepieinthesky · 20/04/2012 23:20

I have been suffering with severe constipation for the last couple of days Blush Any suggestions?

Milk of magnesia can be used as a laxative but it says to check with your doctor if pregnant so I don't really want to take it.
