I'm next! A mix of nerves and excitement for tomorrows scan.

I walked into town to do all my errands and my lower back is now killing me. I think MW saying backache is normal was the understatement of the year!

I got the Emmas Diary goody bag from Argos and collected my Bounty Mum to be pack from Boots. Not convinced the Emmas Diary one is worth bothering with but a full pack of baby wipes in the Bounty one (also a £2 off voucher for nappies).

I am starting to come to terms with my dates. Yesterday morning I was 3months pg, yesterday afternoon I became 6months pg - i only missed the first trimester!

To all of you who asked: I wasn't having periods as I ws bfing DD2 until begining of Feb and it was only when I stopped and I didn't get AF within a week (AF arrived exactly 1 wk after I stopped with DD1) I thought I ought to do a test (and then BFP). I assumed it must have happened almost as soon as I stopped bfing, in fact if you asked me about my sex life before xmas I would have said it was non existent - DD2 was not sleeping through and I was very tired. But I guess we must have done it once

I think the pulling/ twinges are the uterous stretching and expanding.

Glad to see so many :) for the other scans.

Well done with the washing machine nebbo (I think it was) I am similar - especially as we don't have a dryer and it is difficult to co-ordinate the washing finishing with dry days and then there is the mountain of ironing.....

Urgh, the smilies have disappeared. Maybe another lovely person can fix it?

Sickness at last diminishing, though I just woke up from a 1.5 hour nap. Not much work done today yet.

3 weeks today til my scan feels like a lifetime away.

Also today is the last day for me being 21 :( looking forward to my bacon sandwiches in bed tomorrow morning though and having a ds-free afternoon

Yay - so many good scans. Great to see all the good news.

I FINALLY heard from my midwife today! She's coming to book me in on Sunday afternoon, so I will hopefully have a scan date soon :)

Nebbo your comment about washing really made me chuckle as I am the queen of rewashing mouldifying washing - when the weather is like this, but the heating isn't on - it is SUCH a pain to hang out! Wish we had somewhere for a dryer. I actually let washing build up to 3 bin bag loads and take it to the local laundrette for a wash and dry (and fold) service when I'm being really rubbish with it all. I am definitely not a born housewife!

Itala I am so jealous! It must have been shocking though - hope you have adjusted well to the news though - how exciting.

Rushed (shuffled) in the door this evening hoping to see a letter from the NHS with my scan date in. No joy sadly. 11 weeks yesterday and still queasy and peeing for GB. Bought a packet of sour skittles tonight to keep me awake while driving home. Delicious and effective.

Yay for all the good news at the scans! Much needed good news I have to say!

Donna Life for me either happens to be lovely and bumbling along with out problem, or 16 problems at once! I'm pretty resilient though. Bounce back harder than the last time!

Had a better day. Virgin - fixed! Ex, in his place. Managed to go to Tesco and had fun picking some baby clothes for SIL who is due 22nd May.

Am sat here eating a huge thanks DP, I asked for a regular bowl plastic serving bowl full of sweet and crispy salad with cherry toms and french dressing. Mmmmmm. Lovely!

I have been craving healthy food especially strawberries and grapes...is it a myth that it may mean Im expecting a girl ?

I have been craving those too Donna, lots of fruit and veg! I seem to want acidic and salty type things too, tomatoes go down a treat! I've bought some massive oranges for later... mmmm!

I believe sweets are supposed to indicate a girl! It really is just a myth though tries to convince self of same

Salad sounds nice. We're having curry night followed by cinema although have no idea if I'll stay awake!

Have been having shooting stretchy pains in my lower tummy (if that makes sense) and am definitely getting a hard little bump. Am paranoid about people knowing but it's now only a few days before we can tell the world!
