FruitSaladIsNotPudding · 10/04/2012 15:41

pip - so sorry to hear that. Hope you are ok. x

Thechick · 10/04/2012 15:53

valium, so you think if I went for an elcs the experience would be different than the emcs?

NervousAt20 · 10/04/2012 15:55

thechick I'm soo happy for you, I bet you feel so relieved!

pip I'm really sorry and hope you are okay and have lots of support from your family x

applepieinthesky · 10/04/2012 15:56

pip So sorry. Take care of yourself sweetheart xx

YellowWellies · 10/04/2012 16:00

I'm sorry Pip, I was convinced you were going to get good news today :( lots of love to you

applepieinthesky · 10/04/2012 16:02

There are far far too many ladies losing their little ones. It's made me a bit tearful Sad

YellowWellies · 10/04/2012 16:02

Oh and many congratulations to thechick - so many ups and so many downs on this thread. Some very wise words from ValiumQueen x

applepieinthesky · 10/04/2012 16:04

yes congrats thechick Didn't mean to miss you out.

FoofFighter · 10/04/2012 16:36

Ladies, please don't overly worry.

Yes, these things happen and if we look at the list of names at the top of this thread and think how many of them actually came back? so it happens, we know it happens but you cannot spoil your pregnancies by thinking what if!! Statistically - you will be fine. Don't worry unless you have something to worry about. Ok? that's an order.

Remember the nov thread motto... I can't physcially bring myself to type it now, but you all know what it is.

Look after your little gummy bears, I'll be back in November to stalk you all and look at your pictures :)

take care lovely ones x

DesperateHousewife21 · 10/04/2012 16:52

pip that's for the recommendations, I've picked at nuts/ raisins etc which was nice at the time but gets boring quite quick! The fruit bars are a good idea though.

needle yeah I'm loving apples atm too!

ditsygem · 10/04/2012 16:54

So sorry to all the ladies who have had bad news. It it so sad :( I am thinking of you all.
x

DesperateHousewife21 · 10/04/2012 17:00

Sorry pip big x post. I'm really sorry for your news :(

pipsicles · 10/04/2012 17:01

Foof is right, in my last pg, every time we 'lost' someone off the thread, I couldnt help but rather selfishly think that it made it statistically less chance that I would be going too and I've been surprised at how little bad news we've had in all honesty.

In my heart of hearts, I think I kind of knew. I just didn't feel the same as I did with DS and didn't feel quite the same 'bond' and now I know why. In many, many ways, I'm lucky and I am focussing on the positive things to get me through. My mum had exactly the same when I was 11 before my brother came along, so she is being a great support for me, as is DH. Even DS is a wonderful support in his own little innocent way!

So do remember the thread motto and if anyone else finds they need support, then you'll know where to find us!

All the best - you're a great bunch of girls! xxx

ValiumQueen · 10/04/2012 17:06

Wise words from foof and pip, and so kind of you to be thinking of us while you are going through this.

At least if the worst happens, we know we will be well cared for x x x

foof you can stalk me anytime Smile

Stuntnun · 10/04/2012 17:10

Sorry to lose you Pip. Look after yourself and remember we're all thinking of you. A lot of us have been in the same boat and are sympathising with what you're going through.

applepieinthesky · 10/04/2012 17:21

Yes we must all remember that the majority of pregnancies end with a healthy baby and until there is reason to suggest otherwise that's what we need to focus on.

YellowWellies · 10/04/2012 17:36

You ladies are amazing - thank you so much for being so supportive to the rest of us. Lots of love to you and your families xxxxxx

pinkapples · 10/04/2012 17:39

So sorry pip Sad I don't hold out much hope for me now but well see is there a thread for us to switch too? I'm in a good thread the hut of doom and gloom I haven't let myself leave the girls there yet as I'm not convinced x

FoofFighter · 10/04/2012 17:48

just pm one of us pinkapples if you need us x

WestWinger · 10/04/2012 17:50

Oh, pip. Nothing I can say that the other lovely girls haven't already said, but I am so sorry to hear your news. I know it's not the done thing, but, hugs.

Take care of yourself.

Many thanks to both you and foof for being so supportive - you are two very lovely women.

NervousAt20 · 10/04/2012 17:54

pink try and think postive :) I no we've had bad news but also good news to so we all have our fingers crossed that you will get news as good as thechick

daisychain76 · 10/04/2012 18:06

So sorry pip.

So pleased *thechick".

pinkapples, have everything crossed for you.

daisychain76 · 10/04/2012 18:08

westwinger I am quite jealous your MW sounds so positive over home births. At my booking in appointment mine thought I probably wouldn't be allowed one cos has high blood pressure when carrying DS and he was only 6 pounds (tho that's not bad for 4 weeks early). But had no problems with DD and the labour was only 52 mins so she nearly came in the ambulance, something I really want to avoid (hospital is a 15 minute drive if quiet roads, about an hour at peak times). My friend had a home birth recently and has sung its praises - she felt very in control and relaxed.

Chunkychicken · 10/04/2012 18:19

So sorry Pip all the best for a sticky one soon x

Great news chick

Still too sick & tired to do much, or type stuff on here :(

Got a nice date afternoon with DH tomorrow & then booking in appt Thursday.

Hope to be more engaged in the thread again in 4wks when the 2nd trimester arrives (8+1 today) & the ms passes Hmm but wishing everything happy events & peaceful pg until I next catch-up with you all :)
