horseylady - I have a history of depression as well and I always worry that perhaps pregnancy or having a baby will bring it back again. Luckily like you I recognise the signs and would know what to do if it happens. Never be afraid to ask for help or tell people close to you how you feel.

No private scan here either DH! Only 19 more days to go! I'm 9+1 and haven't had my nausea today, unless I've eaten too much (which seems to be easily done at the moment), which has been nice, but also a slight worry! Honestly - we're never happy are we?! Vomiting started at 8wks with DS, so have been surprised worried that it seems to be tailing off now! Although if I'm like some of you, now I've said that, it'll come back with a vengeance!

I'm hoping I'm just tired but I know it's more! I'll see how I go over the weekend but should be ok. Funny how things hit you. Anyway will try to sort it x

I've got my 7 week scan tomorrow, feeling very nervous. Fingers crossed its good news

I'm alright, still spotting not quite sure it's sunk in that dh has lost his job but I'm sure he'll find something soon and they are paying him up until the end of April so that gives us a couple of weeks...

No scan for me yet although mine Is next week only 1 proper day left tho as the other days are technically weekend... Not sure if it's cheeky to think about it like that but I am can't believe I'm still up I'm waiting for dh as he has gone out and after the news he's had today of his job I hope he comes home alright

I hope you are all well this morning, sorry to hear those with job losses this morning. It must be so worrying and I really hope it all works out for you.

I had my share of drama last night with a heavy bleed. I just broke down and didn't know what to do. Up until last Saturday when I had the private scan I was relatively open to the idea of a ms, I was so preoccupied with being sick that it was just a pregnancy. I only had the scan so that I'd be able to tell my mum as I didn't want to get her excited for no reason. When the scan showed me 2 babies I've just got so attached now I don't know how I'd cope not to have them.
I am really lucky as I was at work last night when it happened, I'm a midwife which should mean I'm better at dealing with things but it really means I can deal with other peoples crisis much better than my own. My colleagues are wonderful and so supportive. They did a scan which showed they are still fine and there is a bleed (breakthrough) that hasn't quite cleared so I'll likely bleed some more. I'll get another scan in a week I think just to make sure. They sent me home which I feel bad about as it left them short but they said its best to rest up. Hubby is wonderful and not worrying so I'm trying to stay calm too.

I'm so sorry you've got this additional stress pinkapples. I hope the two of you can try and enjoy your weekend before the new job search.

I was looking at newborn rompers in matalan yesterday so SO tempting to buy but I restrained myself! They were so cute though.

I've caved and bought 3 so far unisex of course but they are hidden in a bottom draw
