Elizadoesdolittle · 06/04/2012 15:00

Oh foof I am so sorry to hear your news. You really will be missed on this thread. Big hugs and look after yourself.

Stuntnun · 06/04/2012 16:18

I'm really sorry to hear your bad news Foof it's an awful thing to go through. I hope things get better for you soon. Chin up hun.

DesperateHousewife21 · 06/04/2012 16:29

Sorry foof that's such sad news :( thinking of you xx

FoeufFighter · 06/04/2012 16:48

ok can talk now have calmed down a bit.

went with the external scan first, couldn't see anything. Went internal and saw little baby measuring 4.6mm no heartbeat. i've googled and that's about a 6-7 weeker. I should be 9 weeks today. They sent me off with the come back in a week just in case you've got your dates wrong bollocks Hmm no advice or leaflets or anything.

I think we all know what this means and I am getting cross now at the way they've handled it and the fact I have to carry it round another week at least, and that i don't know what to do if it starts in the meantime.

Cruel thing is huge sore boobs back with a vengeance today. And i don't want to eat but my body/hormones are screaming to be fed.

in other news, have made shortlist for easter name change which made me smile a bit, if anyone feels like voting for me, am intending on donating the chocs though.

i'll update if you like as and when. I also have a picture of the scan, you can't see much or make much out, but there is a definite baby there.

izzybizzybuzzybees · 06/04/2012 17:12

Just want to check DH is it you thats added me on FB?? dont want to accept if its not!

shinyblackgrape · 06/04/2012 17:20

oh foeuf - that's very difficult. I don't know what to say. I'm sorry, I've not checked the thread but have you seen the midwife yet? If so, is it worth calling her for advice re the worst case scenario. If not, then nhs 24. Not sure how helpful they will be. It's so awful that it is Easter as not so easy to just go the gp and discuss.

WestWingCJ · 06/04/2012 17:43

Foof - I'm not surprised you're cross at the way they've handled it - that's dreadful. What a totally crap way to treat you - really feel for you. As grape says, maybe try the mw and see if she can be of more help.

Hope you are ok. You sound like you are pretty definite on your dates - could they be out?

Thinking of you.

NervousAt20 · 06/04/2012 17:49

Foof I'm soo sorry and hope you are okay! They should have given you more support and care! Is there any chance you could have got your dates wrong? Hope you have lots of care at home Thanks

Your a huge part of this thread and we will all miss you of you leave x

Chunkychicken · 06/04/2012 17:53

Foof so sorry, that really does sound inadequate. Hope that your dates are wrong... Take care Thanks

DesperateHousewife21 · 06/04/2012 18:03

izzy are the initials NB? If so then yes that's me!

foof sorry you weren't treated better :( take care of yourself in the next few weeks.

FoeufFighter · 06/04/2012 18:14

I Had my lmp on 3-2-12 and got bfp on 4-3-12. I don't see how dates can be wrong by that much even if i oved late, that's 3 weeks difference. if' I am not seeing something please do PM me.

Right I really am going now, take care ladies, you are fab x

applepieinthesky · 06/04/2012 19:02

Evilwater · 06/04/2012 20:43

I was just wondering, when can we stop taking these horse pills???

DesperateHousewife21 · 06/04/2012 20:47

I took them all through my last preg because I don't think I get enough nutrients otherwise but you can stop taking them whenever you like, esp after 12 weeks.

Evilwater · 06/04/2012 20:52

Yay, not long now!

WestWingCJ · 06/04/2012 21:14

Got the most horrible headaches at the moment - paracetamol is no use at all. Any ideas? Am drinking loads of water to make sure I'm not dehydrated.

SootySweepandSue · 06/04/2012 21:24

Is it lack of caffeine West Wing? Would a strong cuppa help?

I'd like to start on coffee again at 12 weeks going to ask MW about it. I'm horrid without caffeineBlush.

I couldn't stomach my horsepills today or yesterday. They have been making me feel sick almost immediately even on a full tummy....

Evilwater · 06/04/2012 21:42

Sooty, I've drank tea so far. I can't go without it. I've been drinking tea since I was 2 months. I have cut down on the amount, but not stopped.

I did stop for two weeks and felt awful, all my female reletives drink tea or coffee. I'm healthy, in fact I will be telling the midwife I will not stop drinking tea.

WestWingCJ · 06/04/2012 21:45

No - haven't had tea or coffee for about 5 weeks now - the thought of it - ugh! Real shame as I was a big tea drinker before.

Pills make me feel yuck too. Roll on next trimester (if the bean makes it there) so I can start to feel better!

SootySweepandSue · 06/04/2012 21:57

Yes I can't wait for 12 weeks/relative normality either.

I think the headaches are probably hormone driven, so not sure what we can do with them. My head is stomping now so I'm thinking I'll try paracetamol then go to bed. I get weather headaches when it's stormy/cloudy and theres a bit of that about today too.

I switched to decaff tea. It is not good and I really miss coffee. I'm paranoid about caffeine as when I MC I was drinking 5/6 a day as I didn't know I was pregnant, but I am sure moderation is fine especially after 12 weeks.

I'm sure it wont be long till there are loads of 'I feel fabulous today!' threads Grin.

applepieinthesky · 06/04/2012 22:11

I have cut down on the amount of tea I drink but I'm not cutting it out completely.

I think you could make yourself crazy thinking about all the things you can't do/can't eat/can't drink so I'm not stressing about it.

ItalaItala · 07/04/2012 00:30

Sorry to hear your news foeuf hope you get sorted soon.

Welcome to the newbies.

I haven't cut out caffiene at all but then I probably drink about 5 cups of coffee a week so not an exessive amount anyway (never drink tea) also both DDs were over 8lbs so not woried about lowering the birthweight.

I had my Booking In app yesterday, the mw was lovely - not the one I saw for the last 2 who I was dreading seeing again who is an evil cow (I even changed surgeries when we came back from cornwall at 35wks so that I wouldn't have her just to find it is a local team now so I could have gone back to my old GP!) and looks like my usual mw will be diff too Grin
Anyway as there is some confusion about my dates she suggested she had a listen - she warned me that she shouldn't be able to hear anything at 8wks which is what I am supposed to be - but there was the heartbeat, loud and clear! Shock so the verdict is "definately more than 12wks girl" and she has requested an urgent dating scan..... so not sure if I should stay here....

Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend and all the ms isn't too bad.
