Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
izzybizzybuzzybees · 04/04/2012 22:12

pip they were just from my local coop. Nowhere fancy and only boxed and packaged as large eggs. I was very impressed when I cracked the first two and shocked when I cracked the next two!

Sorry to hear you are worrying. I don't know if you seen my much earlier posts, I had massive bleeding about 3 weeks ago now and was actually told I'd miscarried, my baby is still clinging on and has a wee heartbeat now!

FoeufFighter · 04/04/2012 22:20

I'm in the dippy egg eating camp. As long as they are lion marked then they are vaccinated against salmonella (the chickens that is, not the eggs!) so the eggs should be fine. I'd have eaten the mousse too!

Spotting tailed off but a bit pinky last time I had some. Can't make up my mind if I'm feeling a bit crampy or if it's bloating and wind Blush or if i plain did too much today with the walk and walking to and fro and also been out tonight for a walk with OH (only tend to go out a couple of times a week due to my back)

Have set the box to record Daybreak tomorrow eeek I'm nervous!

only one more day to get through till i have my scan Friday at 9am - you think it's going to drag??

evilwater best of luck for tomorrow pet x

FoeufFighter · 04/04/2012 22:21

(Easter name change btw!)

TheDetective · 04/04/2012 22:40

Fucking hell Foof! Saw you on another thread, and wondered how the hell someone had such a similar name. Dwelled on it for some time, and was even going to say on here how I had seen it.

blonderthanred · 04/04/2012 22:54

Daisy, I made chocolate cornflake cakes on my own, for the adults in my office on Monday - conplete with mini eggs and fluffy chicks. Served wearing white bunny ears. I am a proper grown up, me.

DesperateHousewife21 · 05/04/2012 07:26

Ahh putting mini eggs on the cakes is a good idea. We made them at the surestart centre on mon but we put those little yellow chicks on instead.

Ds was up 5:30 this bloody morning after not going down til gone 8, dh got up with him at 6 but made a big song and dance about it.
There's so much I do that he prob doesn't even realise AND in preg so he bloody well should get up. He sleeps in til half 7 every single weekday morning while I have to get up usually. Men are so bloody useless.

FruitSaladIsNotPudding · 05/04/2012 08:05

Oh dear, dd is watching cbeebies already. Very poor parenting.

Cannot wait for this long weekend!

DesperateHousewife21 · 05/04/2012 08:11

Cbeebies goes on as soon as we get up Blush I find if it's always on in the background ds shuts it out because it's not a novelty.
If it were rationed he'd be moaning for it to be on, whereas now he's on the floor playing with his cars ignoring the tv completely.

pinkapples · 05/04/2012 08:30

Well pinkish spotting is back Wednesday can't come soon enough as far as I'm concerned Sad

nebbo · 05/04/2012 09:49

Oh I feel crap today!! MS seemed to be settling earlier this week but is back with a vengeance today, I don't know why the smell of soap is so awful either.

Try not to worry pink (although it's impossible not to) it sounds like a lot of people have been getting similar and it's been fine. I just can't wait until we all get out 12 weeks out of the way, 25th April for me. 20 days has never felt to long away!!!

YellowWellies · 05/04/2012 10:04

Pink try not to worry - I had brown spotting for 2-3 weeks, followed by pink and then bright red and then two pretty big clots which tipped me over the edge and had me running for an emergency scan - but scan revealed all fine and a happy heartbeat. Your symptoms really sound like mine, in which case it's just the old lining of the uterus leaving. I had cramping too. I found it got worse after I'd been active. All fine now. Oddly enough now DH is home from overseas and we've been having nookie Blush (whilst we still can / I still have the inclination - he doesn't now this yet Grin), it seems to have stopped? Izzy lovely news from your scan - Pink try to be reassured, Izzy had by all accounts a massive bleed and her belly dweller is hanging on x

Elizadoesdolittle · 05/04/2012 10:13

You have to have mini eggs on your chocolate crispie things, it's not an Easter nest otherwise Smile going to them tomorrow and give to relatives as a little Easter treat. That's if we don't eat them all first!

Just spent the morning making Easter cards with dd but cbeebies is on now. Waiting for a friend to come round and then we are off to a easter egg hunt. Shame the weather isn't better but it's not raining so far!

Have a good easter everyone Smile

NervousAt20 · 05/04/2012 11:24

All the talk of Choc rice crispie cakes with mini eggs on have had me running to the shops to get choc and mini eggs :-| will need to give some away otherwise I will eat them all Blush

pink try and stay postive lots of people have had similar an been okay so fingers crossed!

nebbo ms is just horrable! Feeling quite good today but that will probly come back to bite me now :(

Never been a tea drinker but do just fancy a cup!

NervousAt20 · 05/04/2012 11:31

Also got my 12 weeks scan appointment through the post yesturday for the 3rd May. Just seems sooo far away

pipsicles · 05/04/2012 11:33

I'm feeling much better now reading more and more spotting stories - thanks ladies! I'm finding I get no spotting in the mornings, but by the end of the day, it is back and accompanied by a few cramps - body telling me to slow down do you think?

I'd completely forgotten, Izzy when reading your advice yesterday that you were the one who'd been told you'd mc'd - that's amazing that your little bean is still there! It's obviously a very determined little thing! :)

Do enjoy the nookie while you can YW we partook in a cheeky little session the other day and I'd forgotten how great sex in pregnancy is (if you can handle the thought of it!) you're not stressing about not being pg (if you'd been trying for a while) and youre not stressing about falling pg because you already are! Actually, DH was rather lucky last time, as I was perfectly happy to 'adapt' as the months went by, but he did pay for it afterwards with a massive bedroom drought! Blush I'm hoping I'll cope with the changes of motherhood better this time now I know what to expect!

How was being on TV this morning Foeuf? (Like the name change - that it was because you are in the runny egg camp at first though! Blush) I'm gutted I missed it, but DS slept badly last night with us travelling up north and the only way I could get him to go back to sleep at midnight was with extra milk bad, lazy mother! Then he woke up at 5:45am, so we brought him to bed with us in the desperate hope he might go back off, but after being head butted in the eye twice and ending up in tears, DH decided it was in everyone's interests for him to get up with DS and leave me to sleep. I was in bed until 10am! Amazing! I'm feeling great now! DH you definitely need to get your DH to do the same at least once this weekend!

I think we might be looking for a new big family car this weekend...! Any suggestions? We're looking at spending about £12,000 and will be part Xing Astra to part fund it. All ideas and experiences gratefully received!

Enjoy your weekends!

FoeufFighter · 05/04/2012 12:13

I've only not long got up at 11.30am Blush recorded it but not heard if it was on yet, will go and look later.

Brown spotting/loss has stopped now for now? roll on tomorrow morning when i'll know what's what. At least sleeping in this late I've wasted half the day already?!

Enjoy your long weekends all, haven't got one here OH still at work as usual, was just saying on another thread that up here there's no day off tomorrow or Bank Holiday Monday unless you are local govt or the local RAF. Even the supermarkets are open on Sunday. Depending on how the school holidays fall they sometimes even go back on Easter Monday!

shanelle5 · 05/04/2012 13:43

Afternoon all, seems to have quietened down a little here do u think?
Had a really nice booking in appt yesterday mainly due to the midwife being just lovely and with a cracking sense of humour. When she did my blood test (bluegghh) she whipped this rather impressive foam WILLY out of her bag for me to squeeze in order to bring up my vein for the test. It certainly made me chuckle and put me in a relaxed frame of mind for the nasty bit. I said Ha Ha thats what got me into this state in the first place! Grin
Other than that I have to have consultant care due to being ahem "older" and also the amount of babies ive had both of which puts me at high risk but she still said I could have a home birth again as ive had one before and 4 relatively easy births (as easy as they ever are Hmm) I will play it by ear and of course do whatever is best and safest but would really love another homebirth. Just waiting for my scan date now, I am 9+2. Have a lovely sick free day everyone x

FoeufFighter · 05/04/2012 13:49

Hi Shanelle, I think it's cause we are all in that limbo stage, waiting waiting waiting for booking appts, scans etc. Might give the stragglers time to finall ycatch up on the thread though Grin
I too am "older", will be 39 when baby arrives.

FoeufFighter · 05/04/2012 13:50

hoped Evilwater would have updated by now but i guess she'll be asleep after night shift, hope aeverything was fine

pinkapples · 05/04/2012 13:55

Well absolute crap day for me was at work when dh phoned and said he'd lost his job the end of his probation and they weren't keeping him on Sad don't know what we're going to do now as he brings in £38,000 so this afternoon is goingto be budget and damage control while we look at getting him another job he's a mechanical engineer in the south west if anyone knows of any jobs about

shanelle5 · 05/04/2012 14:07

Oh sorry to hear that apples really not what you needed but do try not to stress out over it too much if thats not a really silly thing to say. These things have a habit of working themselves out and hopefully something else is just around the corner for him. Maybe even better than the present job, who knows. Meantime try and take it easy x

FoeufFighter · 05/04/2012 14:15

what a bugger pinky :(

FoeufFighter · 05/04/2012 14:22

Just wiped red blood

NervousAt20 · 05/04/2012 14:44

Hope your okay foof have you called EPU? X

FoeufFighter · 05/04/2012 15:04

not much point I thought? am booked in for tomorrow at 9am anyway. no pain or cramps so hopefully it's fine. not long to wait either way.
