Morning everyone.

Another one with a cold here!!!

Happy Birthday Pinkdolly. Hope you had a good day.

I'm always tired at the moment, think its just my lifestyle at the moment though. Trying to get my course finished at uni before the baby comes. A lot more work this year and trying to keep uptodate, working and a toddler its not really surprising. But, don't want to put it on hold as I will never get it done once I have 2 kids . Just thinking of the rest whilst on mat leave.

Think I'm going back 3 days a week so going to start this routine when on mat leave so DS gets into the new routine before the baby comes so its not such a shock. Dh started making DS's proper bed this weekend to get DS transfered into that, hoping he will sleep through once he is out of his cot.

Its all go.

Hope you are feeling better HITC and kbaby take it easy.

Hope I haven't missed anyone.

Morning everyone. Feeling bright as a button this morning, after a tough week last week, DS packed off to nursery, house tidy, at my desk ready to start work - only prob is I am clearly not working as i am typing this to you lot!!

I have made a resolution this week to stop eating lardage and stodge so much. Healthy nutritious diet for me from now on in this pregnancy, i will only regret it afterwards if I pile on loads of unnecessary weight, and will have nowhere near the opportunity to lose it as i did last time, if i am at home with two. Read on another thread somewhere about weight gain that one girl put on 6 stone!!!

Had some terrible news last week about a friend that has lost her baby in childbirth, I won't go into the details cos i don't think it is an appropriate discussion topic really for an antenatal thread, but I just wanted to share it with you a little bit as I have been so shell shocked by it all since I heard. makes me feel very very lucky to have my DS and be pregnant again with this much wanted sprocket, and I wanted to send hugs to all of you too. Did anyone watch Jersey Girl on Sky last night? I was in floods.

Anyway, as i said I will be finding out sex and not teling anyone we know, but i WILL be telling you lot!!

Lots of love oh fellow pregnant people.

Blossom

xx

Kayzed that is very encouraging news about your DS in his big boy's bed, cos we also find DS at all sorts of odd angles in his cot in the morning, and he is still in a gro bag cos i just don't think he'll keep a duvet on at all! How old is your DS?

HC I should get the results of Downs, Edwards and pater... by Wednesday and then the others ie spina bifida in 14 days time. Have you had all yours back yet?

Sorry to hear your news iamblossom, its horrible when you hear stuff like that when your pregnant.
I cant read or watch anything that involves ill or dying children since having DD. I think you can just appreciate how horrible it is for the parents to go through something like that.

Its been hard this weekend not picking up DD and im bored already of sitting around. I dont know quite how long I have to take it easy for.

heartinthecountry · 13/02/2006 14:40

Thanks for your thoughts.

Am now getting really awful pounding headaches that seem to last all day. Am going to try acupuncture - have appointment booked for Thurs. Will let you know if it helps kayzed!

Honestly - I loved being pregnant with dd - this one is just horrid so far .

Best of luck with results kbaby.

AggiePanther · 13/02/2006 17:06

Hello all, been away since thursday so haven't managed to catch up totally yet - will try to later.
Pinkdolly - I'm only taking paracetamol which does nothing tbh - rest seems to help and so I spend most of my time with my feet up - luckily I work from home on my laptop so I can carry on with that - walking is getting worse and worse - will hopefully have osteopath appt this week

Hello Everyone!

Sorry to hear some of you are not feeling so good, hope you are being well looked after and fussed over. I am feeling pretty good at the moment, in fact someone used the word 'blooming' to describe me today!! Am thinking it will be short-lived though we have lots of poorly children and colleagues at work and feel it's only a matter of time...
My maternity clothes arrived from Next today-hooray!! Its such a relief to feel comfortable and to feel I look nice
Hope you all have a lovely week and are thoroughly spoilt tomorrow (my dp hasn't even mentioned it xxxxxxxxxx

Evening ladies

kbaby-such nice pictures. Didn't you pay for a FISH test as the results come back in 2 days? I get my other results in about a week but I know my baby doesn't have Spina Bifida as the blood tests came back low for that. Don't really know what else they are testing for. Did your scan show any soft markers as mine didn't. Keep your chin up hun at this fretful time. ((xx))

I have also cut down on bad foods as am dreading the post PG diet.

Hi to everyone else-off to watch Northern Lights so nighty night all.

Hi everyone! I've been reading you all since the early days and have been meaning to introduce myself for ages but have been too lazy. This is my second (DS -27 months) and am happy to say I feel great so far, and reading all your posts makes me realise how lucky I am.

Have added myself to your list and look forward to keeping in touch!
