Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
OMGBFP · 19/03/2012 14:36

It's two days earlier in difference to my MW's wheel calendar thing they use

OMGBFP · 19/03/2012 14:36

You have to remember that by the time you miss the first day of your period, you are counted as being 4 weeks, no idea why they do it like that but they do!

WestWingCJ · 19/03/2012 14:37

I just googled. Yes, despite warnings. Yuck.

OMGBFP · 19/03/2012 14:40

Oh WW why'd you do that? Everyone else, please don't google, there's not nice stuff there and you don't need to see it x

WestWingCJ · 19/03/2012 14:44

Because I am stupid. Blush

Listen to OMGBFP everyone else.

Belgrano · 19/03/2012 14:45

Just back from a shopping trip for our holidays which are when I will be 10 - 11.5 wks. Is there a worse time to go on holiday with friends?! Fat and sick and can't tell anyone! Damn shame it was booked before this little joy ocurred.

Ah well, I shall try to enjoy the sun and the sand if not the sangria...

Continuing bouts of d&v here, glad to hear I am not the only one!

I can't believe how many of us there are. What a fertile Valentine's day. Congratulations to all the new additions.

Come ON 12 weeks, come ON 12 weeks...

AbsToni · 19/03/2012 15:00

Oh can I join in saying that I also hate monring sickness with passion by now as well! Oh I am so sick and exhausted of feeling sick - I find it difficult to be happy. I find it difficult to be anything. And talking about mums - mine apaprently had no morning sickness and keeps on telling me that I cannot be having it and that it will go away because I am her daughter. Well....I am sick. at times I am really really sick. But I fight against vomiting - only yesterday I couldn't fight anymore and let it go. Not that I felt any relieve:( I had 1 good day last week where I had an afternoon nap for 2 hours and was super happy afterwards (this gives me hope that there can be days like this). But Sunday and today I am back to fully disastrous state.

My sympathy goes sincerely to the ones with toddlers - I have no idea how you cope! I struggle getting to work, struggle through the work day and struggle to get back home. Then struggle to be at least a bit normal before I struggle to sleep.

bliah...7+2 now.....how much more to go?

Other than that - tomorrow I have an early scan - just for a peace of mind and fun:) Will get a usb video I think:) can't wait - and a bit concerned whether everything is alright. But I'd better do it! hooooreeey!:)

I wish everyone a relief at least at times......

booboomonster · 19/03/2012 15:04

hi girls just a quickie from me. Will someone take me off the list? After a bit of bleeding on Friday, I had a miscarriage yesterday (mothers day, the irony...). Feeling a bit weird. Glad it was early though, and if it wasn't meant to be, then so be it... I am focussing on the positives - I have 2 DDs and can try again.
Wishing you all good luck in your pregnancies, sorry to be a downer...
Booboo x

TheDetective · 19/03/2012 15:07

I am very sorry to hear that booboo. I understand how you are feeling. I haven't miscarried yet although scan showed only products. Waiting on some repeat blood results that were taken on sat to ensure that levels are falling before they decided what to do next.

Nice to see everyone else is doing well.

DesperateHousewife21 · 19/03/2012 15:22

Really sorry to hear that booboo, take care of yourself x

OMGBFP · 19/03/2012 15:24

Hugs for you too izzy, was wondering if you had heard anything yet, when are they going to tell you?

Tiago · 19/03/2012 15:25

So sorry Booboo. :( If you need support/to rant/someone to talk to, the ladies on the miscarriage threads are fantastic.

I now have the gummi bear theme tune stuck in my head. grrr.

TheDetective · 19/03/2012 15:25

Turns out fruit burns when you throw it up. No more fruit for me.

ACID BURN!

I also pee'd a little when I puked. How embarrassing.

NervousAt20 · 19/03/2012 15:25

So sorry booboo x

DesperateHousewife21 · 19/03/2012 15:28

I could really do with some gummi bears now...

Cacacaz · 19/03/2012 15:30

Booboo sorry to hear about your mc. Be kind to yourself.

izzybizzybuzzybees · 19/03/2012 15:33

omgbfp the hospital said they won't have the results until 4pm at the earliest! I have been following you all as I can't accept there is no baby yet. I haven't bled since wed so can't help but think maybe things are ok in there. I know that's not likely as the sonographer was so blunt and they sent me away with a " miscarriage" pack.

Stuntnun · 19/03/2012 15:52

Sorry to hear that booboo it's an awful thing to go through and you never forget the ones you don't get to meet. Take care of yourself and make use of all the support that's out there.

applepieinthesky · 19/03/2012 15:52

So so sorry booboo

I?m still confused about my EDD. If they date you as 4 weeks when you miss your period then I would be 5 weeks today and if they date you from the first day of your last period I would be 5+5 but all the calculators say I am only 4 which I am a bit disappointed at.

My doctors appointment isn?t for another three and a half weeks so nothing much is happening at the moment and I feel a bit deflated when I should be really excited. Is this normal?

WestWingCJ · 19/03/2012 16:00

izzy -hope things are ok in there. Can't believe how blunt some (not all) medical people can be sometimes. I know it is their job and they are just using the jargon, as I would in my job, but it can be hard to take, especially when one is feeling vulnerable anyway. Hugs. x
