Evening all! Welcome to all the newbies and congratulations!
We have been SO busy this weekend! We exchanged contracts on our flat last Wednesday and are moving out this Thursday!
we don't have much family around us, but my mum and sister kindly drove over to help out yesterday, which was amazing as we'd never be anywhere near as close to being done as we are now without them, esp as I'm not much help needing to have a rest or cat nap every now and then!
Like some others, I've got pretty bad gas starting to develop, which is amusing when at home with family, but potentially embarrassing at work this week! My sickness and nausea seems to have eased quite a bit, but I seem to have enough other symptoms to feel happy that all is still well - my belly is enormous - I feel like I'm six months already! DH finds it amusing, but it's going to make it all the harder to keep it from work - I noticed a couple of students eyeing up my belly last week!
What with all this packing, we haven't had chance to really celebrate mother's day and DH being rubbish busy didn't manage to get to the shops to buy a card, but did manage to find a charity card that the British Red Cross sent through
In fairness, it does have roses on it, so is appropriate. What was sweet though was that he helped DS write his name in there and also gave him the pen to draw me a 'picture'! He also wrote a little note from our little Poppy (a bit girly, I know, but relates to size when we found out. We are currently working on more unisex variations!), so that made up for his lack of organisation!
Sorry for the me me me post, but I hope you are all doing well. I've been having some good giggles about some of your posts - particularly the Biblical names! Like others, I am really struggling to keep up with the thread - I'm sure we're up to about 55 now! I think I'm going to have a look at some of the other groups to see if we are unusual because of Valentine's day, or of it's because of the financial crisis (ironically!) that DH suspects!
