Link please to amazing booby bra??

Magicrabbit · 14/03/2012 14:00

Hello ladies! Can I join please??

I got a BFP yesterday and I'm now very excited / relieved / nervous. I have ds1 who will be 3 by November and I had mmc at 12 weeks last sept. I'm really pleased that 6 months later we are expecting again!

Can you add me to the list please?

Ooh yes, any bras that are perdy I would love a look into - all my mat bras bar one are hideous, functional jobs and after two years of wearing them BFing DS I am not going back there! Am only just back into my lovely underwired bras. Saying that I am only a B cup so hopefully can stay as I am for a bit.

Congrats magicrabbit! Welcome, welcome.

I want to change my name again, it is too boring and was thought of on the hop. My name isn't even jayney Confused

10 sticks hey blonder. I have, sadly, run out of tests but am planning on doing another maybe on Monday (if I can wait that long?!). I shall have to actually buy one to fuel my addiction. It's because my symptoms have calmed down, am now much more like I was with DS and no nausea and for some reason it is freaking me out. I should just be pleased!

TitsalinaBumSquash · 14/03/2012 14:25

Beautiful bras needed here too! Link please.

As someone who is already a G cup, i am dreading boob growth, I would at least like to remain some glam during this pregnancy even if it is just in my undies :o

funthatisfunny · 14/03/2012 14:28

Oh ho! fear not, it is me - jayney! I have a less boring nickname now and no, I shan't change it again Grin honest. though I might, it is rather fun.

Keep posting links to any bargains or super duper products you find. That?s my weekend sorted Grin

TitsalinaBumSquash · 14/03/2012 15:24

Gosh these hormones are a nightmare.

I was just talking to my best friend and we were doing fantasising about upping sticks and vanishing for a while sans partners and children (DISCLAIMER - this is never serious and I would NEVER want to do it) anyway, the tears they just started flowing and haven't stopped! It's madness. Real gut wrenching sobs and I don't know why!

funthatisfunny · 14/03/2012 15:39

aw, dear tits (I love your name!). that is rubbish, you poor thing. I started weeping at the breakfast table this morning for no reason, I had to get up and go into the kitchen to hide the tears from DS then promptly forgot to cry any more and started clearing up.

wtf?!

izzybizzybuzzybees · 14/03/2012 16:07

I'm having a small panic girls. I've started bleeding. Only small amounts when wiping and kind of watery not normal blood. I had a LOT of bleeding episodes with DD so hoping that everything is ok like last time. I've just known far too many people to MC that i cant help but panic! I called the EPU and they are seeing me tomorrow afternoon.

LittleLolly · 14/03/2012 16:10

I feel like I am suffering from the worst hangover I've ever had today. I think I would feel better if I could just be sick instead of heaving over the toilet Sad

On the plus side, my mum and grandma have started knitting already so in 7-8 months time this little bambino will have lots of lovely blankets and cardigans!

detective I am so pleased for you! Grin

LittleLolly · 14/03/2012 16:12

Oh izzy poor you. Are you at home or work? Get yourself lay down on the settee or bed and rest until tomorrow. I am sure it will be fine, especially if you bled when pregnant before.

I'm sure there will be some more experienced women along shortly with stories of reassurance. Fingers tightly crossed for you xxx

blonderthanred · 14/03/2012 16:13

I find the crying is like the nausea, sort of "I'm fine I'm fine I'm fine... oh I'm not fine...". Usually happens in Sainsbury's or at work.

This is pretty and comfortable maternity bra as currently sported by me. Of course I look exactly like the model too.

izzybizzybuzzybees · 14/03/2012 16:21

Hi littlelolly I'm home alone :(

I have phoned DH at work to see if he can get time away to come to EPU with me tomorrow. He doesnt think its likely. I am so very scared.

blonderthanred · 14/03/2012 16:23

X-post with Izzy, hope you have some help with DD and are able to get some rest. It's impossible not to worry I know, we're all keeping our fingers xed for you.

DesperateHousewife21 · 14/03/2012 16:59

izzy hope it all goes ok tomorrow, must be such a worry :( keeping my fingers crossed for you.

I've booked myself in with the midwife so my name is on the books Grin I've got my bounty pack. It's just as exciting as it was with ds!

WaitingForMe · 14/03/2012 17:25

That's really cute blonderthanred but I'm confused. Should I be putting away the underwired stuff now?

Mine all fit well and sit on the ribcage not the breast and I thought I'd need to change them if/when my boobs grew.

LittleLolly · 14/03/2012 18:07

Ahh izzy I hope your husband comes with you... Does he realise how much you want him to be there? Men don't realise these things sometimes! If he can't go can you ask your mum or friend? You might be stuck there a while, I was there for over 2 hours on Monday.

I am sure everything will be fine and you will be updating us with good news tomorrow!
Xxxxx

blonderthanred · 14/03/2012 18:18

Waiting, I think it depends on you individually. My breasts have been my main symptom, really sore and up a cup size. I've always been fairly generous-chested and pre-pg found it more comfortable to wear underwired but my usual bras were really hurting and I thought I'd better give the maternity ones a go. Must say I am very pleased with the result.

However I would stick with whatever suits you. I think it's fine to wear underwired if it's on your ribcage (this is my first so I'm no expert). If you start to get sore or swollen you can always change later.

TheDetective · 14/03/2012 18:20

Feeling very nauseous today. I know its because baby wants feeding more though ha!

I haven't eaten enough today though as I have been sleeping. Just got myself showered and stuff, and got downstairs and just collapsed on the sofa. I had to get DS to make me a microwave pizza! How ridiculous!

I still feel queasy, but less so now. Thank goodness. I have no idea how I am going to get through the night! I'm tired now....

izzybizzybuzzybees · 14/03/2012 18:39

Hubby is home and is able to make the appointment thankfully. I had called my sister cos i really didnt think he would get away, she now has a wasted day off!

blonderthanred · 14/03/2012 18:45

Glad to hear it Izzy. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

funthatisfunny · 14/03/2012 19:05

Oh izzy I hope you are ok and can rest up and get some answers tomorrow.

waiting it is fine for you to wear underwire until you grow out of your bras or just get uncomfy anywho. I jumped into maternity the first time round just 'cause it was maternity but this time and sticking with my nice underwire for as long as poss!

lolly that sounds awful, are you really dry heaving?

nowt to report here. Am working until 9pm when I shall slope off and watch OBEM and then I shall be in bed! my belly is ridiculously big in the evenings, it's like I am 14 odd weeks gone! Is anyone else like this?

good luck for tomorrow izzy.

funthatisfunny · 14/03/2012 19:07

ooooh blonder I like the bra! I would never have thought to get a bra from amazon before and £12 is bargainous!

Oh I just noticed you have been rough today too detective. I wish my DS was old enough to get me pizza...

tomatoplantproject · 14/03/2012 19:17

Welcome newbies and congratulations! Izzy - fingers crossed that all is ok and glad you have someone to hold your hand tomorrow.

I had a scan this morning and we saw the teeny heartbeat flickering away. Most exciting!! I've been really happy all day and feel like I can stop worrying quite so much. We've now been officially handed over to the midwives and so now waiting for our 12 week scan etc.

Tonight we celebrate with, ooh, a whole cup of tea. Grin
