Very nearly lost my chunks last night thanks to inconsiderate DP who brought back a super stinky kebab again. And then he tried to come and kiss me. And then wondered why I roared at him! Tool. Angry
I am still raging at him this morning as the house reeks of it, he didn't open any windows to air it out, and the offending article's remains are in the bin in the kitchen and I can smell it still. Tool. Angry

OMGBFP · 14/03/2012 10:56

Did you see the news last night YW? A woman from (Harris or somewhere) gave birth in the helicopter :) I very well may see you then as I will maybe need a section due to problems with my back, my neuro told me the day i found out Sad

Stuntnun · 14/03/2012 10:57

I'm in a bit of a quandry here because DH gave me a Tesco Finest Chargrilled Mushroom Pasta for my lunch and it has parmesan in it. It doesn't say on the pack whether it is unpasteurised or not. Maybe it doesn't need to state that seeing as it is less than 5% of the ingredients. Now I don't know whether to eat it or just get something from the work canteen for lunch. Am I stupid to worry about this?

OMGBFP · 14/03/2012 10:59

it'll be fine as it's cooked as far as I have read

OMGBFP · 14/03/2012 10:59

and it's hard anyway, I've only read it's mould ripened softer cheeses that are problem?

Stuntnun · 14/03/2012 11:02

Thanks OMGBFP I think I'll have to eat it or face the wrath of DH!

Stuntnun · 14/03/2012 11:05

Have to avoid soft mould ripened cheeses e.g. Camembert and Roquefort, and anything unpasteurised. Stilton is apparently okay as it is a hard cheese.

FreddieMercurysBolero · 14/03/2012 11:06

Hello all! Can I join? POASed yesterday, and am in the doctors waiting room now! Woo! Thinking my dd will be November 14th.

OMGBFP · 14/03/2012 11:15

Hello FMB you found us ok then :) congratulations again Thanks

OMGBFP · 14/03/2012 11:28

Anyone mind if I link to something cute? Want!

FruitSaladIsNotPudding · 14/03/2012 11:29

Stilton is ok? That is amazing news! It was the thing I missed most in last pregnancy. I love stilton.

OMGBFP · 14/03/2012 11:44

I miss brie

Stuntnun · 14/03/2012 11:56

FruitSalad doublecheck but I'm pretty sure stilton is okay as long as it's pasteurised because it's a hard cheese so the water content isn't high enough to promote bacterial growth.

WaitingForMe · 14/03/2012 11:59

They aren't cute OMGBFP they're scary Shock

I dropped my my GP's today and have a midwife's appointment booked for early next month. Only did my usual circuit around town but I'm shattered.

I have also started talking to it so basically I'm talking to myself Blush

OMGBFP · 14/03/2012 12:07
Grin

I am blaming hormones :p

superpenguin · 14/03/2012 12:27

Hello all, can I join you?

Just got a BFP! I reckon I'm due around the 19th November. :)
Already have a baby boy who is only just 1, so we would have a 20-month gap!

Only just returned to work so not looking forward to telling them in a couple of months that I'm pg again, but never mind!

OMGBFP · 14/03/2012 12:35

Thanks congratulations sp :)

I fear there will be three bumps in labour to each midwife in November the way things are going!

FruitSaladIsNotPudding · 14/03/2012 12:40

There are rather a lot of us aren't there?? Think I will opt for a home birth!

TheManInTheMoon · 14/03/2012 13:21

Hi can I join too Smile. I got my BFP on Monday. I should be due somewhere between the 18th and the 21st of nov, it's hard for me to date too accurately as I have PCOS and my cycles are everywhere. This is DC%232 for me, my DS is 1 on Friday Grin. How are all of you other lovely ladies doing so far?

TheManInTheMoon · 14/03/2012 13:22

DC 2 (I dot know why it put those other numbers Confused lol)

SootySweepandSue · 14/03/2012 13:30

Hi ladies I can't seem to add myself to the list (on phone) but I'm;

Sooty [34] DC2 EDD @18/11/12

If anyone can add me I'd be most grateful.

I'm still dizzy and getting backache too but that might be down to lifting of my 18 mo DD!

My main concern this time is not to get so fat! I only just lost my babyweight. I printed off the babycentre first trimester meal plan so using that for ideas....

Jayney10 · 14/03/2012 13:38

oooh a meal plan! I fancy that - I put on a good half stone more than I should have last time and this time I will not let this happen!

I am being paranoid today about being pg. Even rummaged and found ANOTHER stick to pee on. After 5 positives spanning nearly a week can I relax and just think I am pg? I am finding it soooo hard to believe it is true, I don't know why. Some sense would be gratefully received.

there are so many of us, is just lovely!

I can't concentrate on work today. so far I have had shopping delivered, bought three new floaty spring/summer tops online to cover my already burgeoning gut, looked at facebook like there's no tomorrow and read around about missed miscarriages. And mumsnetted.

Must. Work. And chill the fuck out ;)

!! :)

SootySweepandSue · 14/03/2012 13:50

The meal plan looks quite good although there is lots of stuff on it that I wouldn't normally think of eating (broccoli and pea soup for example). But if explains why you need more of some things (folate rich foods, some Vits).

Well I put on a ton of weight last time so I am going to weigh in every week. I think they say no weight gain until 12 weeks then 1 pound a week after. I will be ignoring my MW who last time said not to worry and that it would all come off breastfeeding... Well that didn't quite work but 12 months of the Atkins diet didSad.

Here's to healthy pregnancies everyone!

Gosh I hope 5 tests isn't overdoing it, I did no. 10 this morning... In 12 days! Thought I was being quite restrained. They are the cheap Amazon sticks though so I have a bumper pack.

Just got my beautiful maternity bra (also from Amazon) through the post and now my aching breasts feel amazing. It wasn't dirt cheap at £12.99 but it was reduced from a lot more. Aaaaaaahhhhhh....
