usandbump · 21/02/2006 13:05

Firstnikki, am so sorry for you, I'm from another ante-natal thread but like to look in on others to see how we are all doing. Am sending positive thoughts and hugs to you both x

cece · 21/02/2006 13:07

sorry fn insensitive of me to post at this precise moment - didn't read previous scans. sorry

cece · 21/02/2006 13:07

sorry meant posts

paow · 21/02/2006 13:13

Nikki, I'm really sorry to hear that, I know exactly how you feel. Take care of yourself.

Thank you Mismi and nicemum.
Mismi, I hope this time round we'll make it!
In the meantime we are not telling anyone until 3 months as last time round everyone knew and the worst thing was to answer to the how are you questions with the bad news...
I have an app with the nurse on Friday, I really wouldn't want an early scan, the one where they stick the device on your vagina as when I had the miscarriage they did that and it was so painful specially when the incompentent nurse left it hanging in there to pick up the phone!! So I prefer to wait until I can have the normal scan!
Take care you all.
Paola

Welcome, Cece. It was not your fault about the post - could have happened to anyone. We are all thinking about FN right now but are very happy to have you with us. I too tend to be a 42-43 week person and this time I'm due 4th Oct so I'm hoping that at least it will be sometime in October. Would like a Libra I think!

I have had absolutely no bleeding (or checkups of any kind) so I have no idea what is going on. Can only assume all is well. FN - I am in tears over you and really hope that you don't give up on having your baby. You are still young - get all the help and advice you can. I will look out for you on other threads - and will miss your cheerful presence on this one.

booge · 21/02/2006 13:41

FirstNikki - just re-read my message and didn't mean it to sound so cold. Don't really know you but you've been a great source of help for people on mn. Hope youre getting lots of rest. Lots of hugs to you.

nowanearlyNicemum · 21/02/2006 19:48

firstnikki, I was so sad to read your post. I can't begin to imagine how absolutely dreadful you must feel.
hope someone is taking good care of you right now. xxx

beanymum · 21/02/2006 19:54

FN -really sorry to hear your news -nothing I can say to make it better except feeling for you.

I had almost same thing today - smaller than expected, no fetal h/b found. They refused to be drawn into what this meant, only that I should have another scan next thurs to see if it's grown anymore. However, have given up hoping since more bleeding tonight.

I've got a wonderful one yr old and am thankful for that.

Hope we will end up on the same thread in a few months time. xxxxx

majormoo · 21/02/2006 20:32

Beanymum really sorry to hear that. Will be thinking of you.

Tigerlion · 21/02/2006 20:34

FN and BM, very sorry to hear of your experiences and make sure to get plenty of hugs.

Found out that I am due on 22 October which is a bit sudden as I have a 6 month old DS, born last August. Has anyone else experienced two young children at the same time? There will be 14 months difference between the two of them.

First pregnancy was trouble-free except at the end where I had to be hospitalised with pre eclampsia four days befopre the birth, but this time round, I have dreadful morning sickness which is not helped by the fact that my DS needs my constant attention - no rest for me! I am happy to join this group on MN. Last time I learnt so much invaluable information from other mums and mums-to-be.

sparkly1 · 21/02/2006 22:03

FN and BM, I'm so sorry to hear your news. I had an early m/c last February. It does get easier in time but please make sure you take good care of yourselves right now. I cried lots and felt life was so unfair. Allow yourself time to grieve.

I have just had a positive test tonight. There is no denying what the result is but I think I'm in denial. I feel very crampy, very period like. DP doesn't yet know as he's away tonight. Based on my dates, I think I'm due 24th October. I will get another test tomorrow and confirm it then need to see my gp asap because when I miscarried they said they'd do a scan early on to help alleviate any fears. I hope that comes to fruition because I'm already a nervous wreck.

wuzzlefraggle · 22/02/2006 09:31

beanymum...my thoughts are with you (((hug)))i cant even begin to imagine how you feel, but i do hope that you start to feel better soon xoxox

tigerlion, i wish you a happy and healthy pregnancy

sparky, congrats on the bfp!! i hope you have ahealthy and happy one

i hope that every1 else is feeling ok xoxoxoxox

wuzzlefraggle · 22/02/2006 09:32

oh and Sparky...apparently the crampy af like feelings are perfectly normal (i asked a friend of the family that is a nurse as ive had them too)

riley3 · 22/02/2006 09:42

Aw Beanymum - not another one! I have been so sad over FN - my poor old DH has been quite bemused. Thinking of you both. I think none of us on this thread will be able to relax for quite some time about our pgs...

Hello to Sparkly1 and Tigerlion and best of luck and happy pgs to you both. Don't forget to put your stats on the Oct 06 stats thread which FirstNikki started. I have just bumped it.

nowanearlyNicemum · 22/02/2006 11:09

beanymum, I'm so so sorry.
hope you have someone taking good care of you too.
thinking of you lots xxx

majormoo · 22/02/2006 11:16

welcome Sparkly1 and Tigerlion.

Feel very sad for Beanymum and FirstNikki.

I have been having horrible dreams about losing this pregnancy. Just want these weeks to rush by but time goes by so slowly (very cheesy but cue bursting into that Madonna song)

FirstNikki · 22/02/2006 11:54

Thank you so much for your thoughts and wishes. I will be keeping an eye on you all to see how you are doing. I know I will be ok in the end will leave longer this time to ttc if in fact we do.

Beanymum I am so sorry for what you are going through thoughts are with you too. xxx

Best wishes to all the newcomers and wishing you all healthy pg's and I look forward to seeing your announcements in October.
