OhCotton I was hoping you had some good news as nI was also told that my pregnancy wasn't going to progress. I had the option of a D+C or tablets and they kind of pushed towards the tablets which sounds horrid but at least it's not a general. So I have taken a tablet to stop the pregnancy hormones today and will go in on wednesday for a 'medically managed miscarriage'.

We're very sad obviously, but I', so relieved to finally know and have already booked a holiday in the summer to France and we will continue TTC as soon as we can.

I really appreciate all the support you've given me and I wish all of you happy and healthy pregnancies.

Thunder I had naively hoped the same but, seeing how active my DSis's 7 m.o. is, it's just not going to happen - I will need a nursery place same as everyone else, unfortunately!! But if nothing else, we're better positioned for emergencies/ill days/etc :)

on another note, i've been wanting to rant all day as the booking appt turned out to be another appt with the doctor which i already had previously and now the first available MW appt is on the 19 April when i'll be 15 weeks which seems crazy.... Thank goodness the scans are booked separately and that's on the 28th. Typical hackney mis-administration.

Morning girls. Hope everyone is well,

Had a nite of bad dreams and Not really feeling well rested.

Scan Is in 2 weeks. I will be 12 + 4. Ds1 and mil are coming as dp is away with work, Patiently waiting for the 2nd trimester when I am supposed to feel human again.

So sorry to hear your news cotton and hetty hope to see you back before too long. ????

I have my booking appt this afternoon! Very excited!! ? I hope we get to hear the heartbeat!!!

A very good Antipodean evening to you all,

Had my scan today! A very much baby shaped bean was in there, bouncing around in comical style, and waving little fingers and toes all over the place. It has a perfect little nose! Why does that seem so weird? 67 mm long, and I've been adjusted forward 3 days (now 12+3, due on 22nd Sept so very much an impostor on this thread, but please don't throw me out ). Feeling much better too - occasional bouts of sickness but human in between, so hang in there bubblebell! Still waiting on the blood tests so keeping quiet a little longer, but the measurements today of all the things that matter were very well behaved (we had a student sonographer, and I think her supervisor was very pleased as it was basically a "this is what a baby should look like" session) so I'm feeling pretty cheerful.

I too am waiting for the 2nd trimester bubble but not at all patiently. I am sick of feeling rubbish. This cold is horrid. The sinus pain had me awake most of the night with a pounding head and achy face. Add to that the constant nausea and I am feeling very sorry for myself.
I am ready to bloom now please!!!

Good luck with your booking BB I'm not sure about hearing the heartbeat. My booking was just an hours worth of form filling and box ticking. They don't even try to listen here until over 16 weeks.
