Evening all

hetty I definitely notice MS worsens when I'm tired. The only time (so far) I've actually vomited was when I was shattered after early wake-up and long drive. Other than that I definitely feel closer to sickness than last time. Then it was just a sicky, chemical feeling. Probably more tired this time with a 2yr old as well as work!

Morning ladies. Sorry I haven't been around for what feels like ages but MS has taken over everything. I can't even think in sentences let alone type them.

Feeling thoroughly miserable. Seeing doc tomorrow so he will hopefully give me something for it.

Hello everyone, im 8 weeks today!

Well I have stuffed myself stupid this morning on pancakes aqnd now I feel sick!
I work in a day nursery so we cooked them for the children (and us) for snack time!

I have had my letter through for a dating scan so I rang up this morning and they had a cancellation for tomorrow so im going then!

All quiet on the ms front at the moment, the queasiness has eased which also makes me wonder if it just took my body 3.5 weeks to get over the d&v bug I had. Who knows!

My ms has eased slightly Winnie I'm 8 wks tomorrow. Good skills on getting your scan sorted!!!

I didn't think you could date before 10 weeks, winnie ? Good luck :)

I don't know pop, oh well if not at least I get an extra scan!!

I'm only having it to confirm for some tests I need at 12 weeks. I'll find out tmrw then and let u know!

I am also being scanned tomorrow...but by the GP
This is a dating scan too and its done early to make sure they send me to the mainland at the right time for my nuchal scan.

I am still undecided as to whether to go away and get the nuchal scan or not. Hubby and I have talked about it and are not sure if we would do anything different even if we do come back as high risk. Plus it means a 3/4 day trip away from home and the kids. But it would be good to know I think

Its all so very different from 10 years ago!!!

Thunder it is remote but lovely lol. Its a 5 hour ferry trip to the mainland!! or a hours flight. Though we are yet to try flying as it would work out much more expensive for the 5 of us.
We moved here 18 months ago. Hubby's parents moved up here after retirement about 8 years ago and we used to visit on a yearly basis. We fell in love with the place and it got harder to leave every time. Eventually after one holiday hubby said I wish we could live there so I said why not. 4 months later we were on the ferry in 2 transit vans with everything we owned lol.

Its just fantastic. Its quiet, beautiful and safe...really safe. Only about 1200 people live on the island so it can be really peaceful though in summer we get a lot of tourists.

I can't imagine living anywhere else now

Hi everyone.. Glad to hear some more good news. I'm more than 6 weeks now and not a hint of MS, so getting very worried and anxious. I didn't have much MS with my last pregnancy either which ended in a MC. Feeling tired, but just travelled 100's of miles and worked a very long day, I also did a long hike sunday! (that's normal for me so not overdoing it). So would normally feel knackered after that. I have not AF and a positive line, so know I should be grateful I am feeling so well, but wish I was feeling something :(
Is anyone else without MS?
I have been making myself miserable looking at MS stats an threads. Must stop!

Evening all...First appointment today and I'm further along than I thought - 9+5! So now due 22 September. Can I stay, though? :) No scan till 14 March though, boo.

cottonsock I've not had any MS either, have been really anxious, but now I'm just going to gratefully enjoy it.

I am 7 weeks today. Feeling very down in the dumps. Maybe just worried about my scan tomorrow.

Am 7 weeks according to GP. Due 10 October and this will be my 2nd DC.... I have a boisterous 16 month old already.

Welcome welcome newbies. I'm 8 + 3 now, apparently my pip is the size of a kidney bean! Two more weeks to my booking in appointment! DH is due to be away skiing when I hit 13 weeks, I will be so upset if he misses the first scan but hopefully they'll accommodate me the week before...

Re symptoms - I haven't a single one and didn't with DD either so I don't think it means anything one way or the other (I also had a lovely 4 hour labour and waterbirth with DD - can I really be so lucky again second time round?)

Hello, I'm expecting my first too. I'm 5/6 weeks, had a scan last week and saw a teeny heartbeat! Feel very sick, but not been sick yet. I am a NCer btw, was saving this name for early pregnancy

I would love to go to Scotland and explore more (love the outdoors and hiking), but hear scary things about bugs. Do they eat you alive?

Alice somone else asked if a heart beat could be seen so early, so guess it can. Why did they scan you so early if you don't mind me asking?

I am so unbelievably tired tonight. Not sure I will make it through OBEM! Considering a bath, PJs, peppermint and I might just make it.

I just read advice about weight gain in pregnancy, I need to aim for no more than 25lbs, and none in the first trimester. So I am already gaining more weight than I should...

Didn't bother last time and put on over 3 stone and I only managed to lose 2st 5lbs after 20 months. Anyone managing to carry on exercising? I've just been too tired to do my DVDs.
