Hello all! Grin
I've been in the "pregnancy" section on their October thread, and have just found this one as well.
I think my due date is 4th Oct, making me about 7+2 ish... this will be my second.
Feeling sick the whole time, and can't wait to be through the first trimester!!!

DameFlatYouLent · 18/02/2012 18:44

Gizzy that website is amazing! I can't believe the hands at 7 weeks!

GizzyBoo · 18/02/2012 19:49

Isn't it fab. The pictures are amazing.
I keep looking ahead to what my wee button will look like next week at 8 weeks!! Wee fingers and facial features and everything! Just wow!!

Welcome and congrats Duke Thanks
I think we are all looking forward to hitting that magical 12 weeks when the sickness will stop and we are no longer dog tired! Grin

DameFlatYouLent · 18/02/2012 20:49

I'm not sure how magical the 12 weeks is...iirc with my last pregnancy I didn't start feeling ok again until about 24 weeks Shock and then started feeling crap again around 28 weeks Confused I may be "special" though Wink

MsInterpret · 18/02/2012 21:11

Hi all, lovely to hear updates from everyone.

Back from a few days away in Wales with friends. Bleurgh! Felt sick as a dog the whole time. Boo. This MS is definitely worse (than I remember) with DD.

Got my scan date for 22nd March so I'll be just before 13wks. Is a-g-e-s away.

Right, off to bed with my bedside snack for the midnight nausea.

Isn't pregnancy glam? Wink

babybrain3 · 19/02/2012 07:28

Has everyone already had their first mw appt??? Ive still not heard anything... 7 1/2 wks....

MakeTeaNotWar · 19/02/2012 07:39

brain no, here first appointment isn't until 10 weeks so I'm waiting for March 8, ages away. At least the 12 week scan won't be too long after. No MS here thank goodness, just v tired and surges of rage!! I guess it's hormonal but very simple things are making me feel murderous right now, not good!!

babybrain3 · 19/02/2012 07:48

That's reassuring, just hope they haven't forgotten about me!!! The first appt here is supposed to be between 8 & 10 wks, but thought I might have at least got an appointment through..I'm not very good at waiting- this is going to be a long 9 months!!! Grin

MummyWilliams · 19/02/2012 08:58

Hi! All. Can I very tentatively join?

Have had a mmc at 15 weeks, lost our little boy at 18 weeks. Then went on and had a success with DS2 in April 2011. Already have DD aged 10, DS1 aged 8, DSD1 aged 20 and DSD2 aged 12. DS2 is currently 9 and a half months, so if this little bean sticks it will be a gap of just under 18 months.

To say this is a surprise is an understatement. Can't deny I am extremely scared, but delighted all the same. I won't be relaxing until bean is here.

Shall be going to the doctors tomorrow to arrange early scan and then hopefully will be closely monitored with scans every 1-2 weeks til positive baby movements are felt.

Feeling a little sick, nothing too bad, but have only ever suffered mild sickness in all my pregnancys.

Other concern is all my babies have been born via c-section (apart from losses) and this will be my 4th c-section. Also I had a smear test on 6th February (with normal result) but was obviously in very early stage of pregnancy.

Currently 5 weeks EDD 21 October 2012.

Sending everyone sticky bean vibes.

X

Pezzina · 19/02/2012 09:00

Morning all! babybrain if you haven't heard anything by Wednesday I would give them a call - for your peace of mind as well as to check that you haven't been forgotten. Better to be sure. I'm like you - terrible at waiting Smile

I've got a big family pub lunch to deal with today. Not really looking forward to it whilst feeling so green round the gils.

MsInterpret · 19/02/2012 09:13

I haven't heard about my MW appt yet either babybrain and I'm now 8+2, (although I only went to GP at almost 7wks).

My scan letter said as long as you've seen them before the dating scan, that's fine.

Congrats mummywilliams and sticky-bean vibes right back at you!

cakes82 · 19/02/2012 09:32

I had a bit of spotting yesterday and spoke to on call midwife, she said I won't see midwives till 10 weeks. Got my second scan on Tuesday baby should be about 7 weeks so therefore have heartbeat. Have already had my appt through for 12 week scan but got to change it cause its at wrong hospital lol Confused

DameFlatYouLent · 19/02/2012 10:22

MakeTea reassuring to know I'm not the only one having murderous rages! Don't know what's wrong with me at the moment Blush

HettyTurner · 19/02/2012 21:48

cottonsocks I haven't spoken to the midwife yet, I might ring her before I ring the hospital to rearrange scan and ask her.

MS was back again today. I'm sure it's worse when I'm tired because last weekI had it when I hadn't slept very well and today LO was up at 6. Does anyone else find this?

Good luck thunder hope everything goes ok.

Il see what happens this week I think, it's probably a but early to have heard anything yet.

Hope everyone's not feeling too ill this morning Wink

Pezzina · 20/02/2012 10:40

Morning all - good luck with your scan Thunder. Will be thinking of you x

KPT083 · 20/02/2012 12:03

Afternoon Ladies,

This weekend the MS has really taken hold.
It's taken me this long to muster up strength to actually log on!
Gizzyboo the Brew on sat didn't stay down long....

Thunder I hope your scan went ok, we've an early one booked for 28th Feb, very nervous about it incase we MMC again.

On the upside I'm hoping/praying that the strong MS is a very good sign - that or as someone said - well it could be twins -YIKES lol

Chrestomanci · 20/02/2012 12:42

Hello

May I join? Had a BFP this morning and dying to talk to someone. Have told DH over phone as couldn't wait Blush but am keeping stum IRL for now.

As far as i can tell due date is 25 October. This will be our second, have a DS who is 18 months. Am trying not to get too excited as had an ectopic before DS, so will need an early scan etc, but have been wandering round with a big grin on my face all morning (even when DS pooed on the kitchen floor!)

Thank you Thunderbolt. Glad your scan went OK. Seeing that little heartbeat is the best feeling Smile

Psammead · 20/02/2012 15:33

Hi all!

Not much to report here - mild MS, terrible tiredness, first appointment on Thursday.

HettyTurner · 20/02/2012 16:56

thunder that's great nes, you must be so relieved and happy. I hope my scan goes that well in a couple of weeks.

I spoke to midwife who said that they have to go off LMP dates so I'm 12 weeks and due middle of September! Hospital would only change scan by 1 week because they have to do it before 14+2. At least I should be 7 weeks by then and heartbeat etc should be found, but how ridiculous!

MS was worse today than ever, still no real vommit but it was close. I'm sure it's just a matter of a week before it starts properly.
