MoreDeadlier, I have had spotting for almost 3 weeks - my scan on Monday showed my LO and a heartbeat but also a sub chorionic bleed. I am going back in a week for another scan. What is your discharge like? (it's all so worrying, isn't it).

MoreDeadlier · 17/02/2012 07:56

nasara I had a scan last Monday and they didn't find anything bad, this discharge is brown which I'm assured is normal but its quite inconsistent (pinkish fluid/dark brown clots) I went to the hospital because I was getting massive clots and very scared. They checked for ectopic pg but apparently all is well - it's in the right place and there is a heartbeat. So who knows, hopefully it will just stop Hmm

Bubblebell1 · 17/02/2012 08:40

Morning all. Hope everyone is well. Still feeling rough but been mad busy with the kids this week.

Sending sticky vibes to you all x

GizzyBoo · 17/02/2012 10:22

Morning ladies Smile

I feel a little better this morning.....must be the 11 hours sleep I had last night Shock I definitely feel much more icky when I am tired. I have manages dairylea on toast and a cuppa this morning and it has stayed put!

Just been watching Home Birth Diaries with DD and she was so sweet watching.....I am literally dying to tell her about the wee button and am having to chew my bottom lip to stop it falling out my gob! Grin

hope everyone is well this morning.

GizzyBoo · 17/02/2012 10:23

Morning Bubble How you feeling lovely??

Bubblebell1 · 17/02/2012 10:33

Hey gizzy I'm ok. Been kept on my toes this week by dc. Tired and hungry all the time and already putting on weight Sad
How have you been. X

GizzyBoo · 17/02/2012 10:38

Awww don't worry about the weight Bubble...its likely to be water retention at this stage so nothing you can do about it Smile

I'm ok ty....like you i feel tired to the point of exhaustion most of the day and rather icky. If I'm not sick I'm starving...then I'm sicky, then starving....its nuts.
I have actually lost 1/2 a stone in this last 2 weeks......I am putting that down to lack of vino Blush

Bubblebell1 · 17/02/2012 11:05

gizzy I'm sooooooo jealous. I've put on 3 kilos! I was gutted when I had my booking in appointment and saw the scales!

I lost weight with my ds' hoping I dont put on too much in this 1. I found it so hard to lose weight.
Worried i Will end up as fat as I did after ds2

Bear1984 · 17/02/2012 11:15

Hi all, thought I'd join this thread too! I found out on Sunday, and I'm due 15th Oct, so I'm 5wks+4. Very excited. This will be my second, DP's first. DD is 9, and doesn't know yet as we're waiting for the scan, but she'll be so excited!

Been suffering badly with morning sickness, and I'm full of a cold too. I feel so dehydrated all the time so I'm going through about 4 litres of water a day lol.

Pezzina · 17/02/2012 11:36

Morning! Gizzy like you I'm feeling slightly less sick this morning - hooray! Also had a good nights sleep which I am sure helps. Have also discovered apples are great to eat if feeling queasy. Stopped feeling so bad after eating one yesterday and just tried it again and the same result. Better for me than all the sweets I've been putting away Blush

GizzyBoo · 17/02/2012 11:40

bubble I am a fatty anyway so have lots to spare Blush I don't want to put on too much as I have a dodgy back and know if I get too much heavier I shall really struggle later on.

Morning Bear and congratulations Smile The sickness is bad enough but having a cold too! You poor thing!

GizzyBoo · 17/02/2012 11:41

Morning Pezz I have a real craving for grapes this morning....but don't have any.....I have sent hubby a txt to come home via shop later Grin

My car is still broken....I feel stranded!!

Bear1984 · 17/02/2012 11:44

GizzyBoo it's terrible. My nose is sore and I have a bit of a sore throat too and I can't take anything to get rid of it! Lol.

I am 3.5 stone overweight so I'm also hoping that I don't put too much on, but fingers crossed after baby comes, the weight loss will be better, as I went down 2 clothes sizes when I had DD :)

HeyMicky · 17/02/2012 12:17

Morning all, lovely to see all the new faces. Sending good vibes, too, for those waiting on scans.

Gizzy I'm totally loved up, too, turned into a shag bunny.

Helpfully, we're on holiday, so can indulge, and ideally all this activity will offset the holiday nibbles. DP is off skiing today and I want to do is pop down to the shop and stock up on random Norwegian sweets

Still no MS, huzzah, but expect it will hit full force in a few weeks.

CottonSock · 17/02/2012 17:26

Hi all, yipee the weekend is here, but DH is working it at short notice so that sucks a bit :(

I just got in from work to have my quiet time with magazine and vino.. oh no vino.... missing the vino. 8 months is going to feel a long time. Maybe I will get used to it!

Still no MS, but slight dizzyness and bit of a headache this morning.

Bear we have the same due date.

Bear1984 · 17/02/2012 22:09

Cottonsock excellent :) is this your first?

Zara1984 · 18/02/2012 04:32

Hello ladies, can I join?? Just got the (pleasant) shock of my life when I tested this morning and got BFP!

This is my first Smile

Interwebs tells me my EDD is 26 October Grin

KPT083 · 18/02/2012 05:47

Congratulations ZaraGrin

Only just catching up with MN, and my haven't we grown!
I'm not sleeping well, might get up for a Brew

WeeSooty · 18/02/2012 05:48

Hi everyone!

Hello and congratulations to all newbies!

Haven?t had a chance to come on recently, been quite ill but thankfully have that hopefully under control now.

Thursday night I was in such agony with the bloating that my husband made me call NHS 24, while the nurses were fantastic the outpatient doctor I saw was a complete waste of time, pummelled my tummy and left me in tears telling me I had an ulcer or gallstones and to basically go to my own doctor as he wasn?t there to deal with that?!?! Angry

Anyway, went to my doctors yesterday, she was fantastic, listened carefully to me, got all the info and sent me up to the emergency gynaecology unit for a scan as she was worried the baby was not in the right place. Que much rushing around and panicking while my husband raced home from work to take me up to the unit! They were also fantastic, put me so at ease and were just lovely. They gave me an early scan, I?m officially 7 weeks, baby is in the right place and we saw its wee tiny heart flickering away happily! Grin And got a picture? although to be honest its just a little dot. Turns out I have IBS which has been majorly flared up by being pregnant. So they gave me some tablets which thankfully seem to making a difference. I?m still not 100% better but I am sooo much better than I was before!

Anyway, that?s where I have been! Hope everyone is well, I was wide awake so had some porridge (first time I?ve eaten in a week, sooo good!) but getting sleepy again so heading back to bed!

GizzyBoo · 18/02/2012 10:23

Morning Ladies Thanks

Sooty yay for you.......I am so pleased you are feeling better and you got to see your wee button on scan. That must be so reassuring Smile

Socks I would literally kill for no ms just now.....
What kinda smart arse shouts their mouth off about how great they feel then spend the rest of the day feeling dreadful and actually puking...oh yes that would be me...the smugness has well and truly come back to bite me in the ass Sad

Congratulations Zara and welcome to the thread [smile

Morning KP.....how was your Brew ??

Day on the sofa for me today me thinks!

isheisnthe · 18/02/2012 10:55

I'm feeling fed up, am I pregnant or not!? Ive got a clear blue test that I didn't use -was a pack of 2- last time I tested it said 1-2 weeks, shall I test again to see if it's gone up? :-(. 29th for rescan seems for ever away

babybrain3 · 18/02/2012 11:14

Do you still have any pregnancy symptoms ishe??

HettyTurner · 18/02/2012 11:49

Hi All,

Sorry you've been feeling rotten gizzy, I know how horrid it can be but just think about how lovely and strong your hormones must be. And it will be over soon.

I was hoping for a little bit of advice about scans:
I had a really long cycle when I got BFP and by LMP I am 11 weeks but I am really 5 weeks. Got my scan appointment through for 27th when I'll be 6 weeks. Should I change the appointment making it when I'm about 8 weeks to make sure they can find a heartbeat? I think I would go mental if they couldn't find it and I didn't know if it was all OK or not.

Obviously I want to have a early scan and then another one after 12 weeks for the tests though!

CottonSock · 18/02/2012 15:42

Bear Yes it will be my first. Yikeees :)

CottonSock · 18/02/2012 15:50

WeeSooty & Gizzy hope you feel better soon. I was just last week saying how IBS was great in pregnancy, and today I get symptoms. Was quite relieved that was why my stomach was cramping though and not something more sinister.

Hetty did you ask the midwife for advice? My GP said they can't really see anything till 7+, so maybe you would be better to put it back a week to avoid panic? I don't know though, because I'm sure some of the ladies on here have seen a heart beat around 6, so it might be worth it.

I want to plan my scan date around a holiday, my DH's shifts and my parents visiting. The midwife might think I am being very difficult, but I will try it :)

Hope you are all enjoying the weekend. Sun has come out here after a stinking morning.
